I recommend you pay the extra money to fly out of a more organized and less stressful headache airport. Saving at this airport is not worth it.

Amazing as always, now is desolate due to the covid

While I have see this airport from its earliest state when it was a small no international flights, I welcome the fact they have grown expanding to accommodate the needs ... today I flew out in very mindful of what all the security and whole heartedly will submit to their measures taking ...checking in today was an awefull experience with a very rude and mean TSA employee . This lady screened at me because I said excuse me to her I wanted to ask her a question, it was so nasty I was shocked I felt I was in prison or something she made me feel I should not be interrupting her to ask her anything, I also had a hat on they made me TAKE MY HAT OF TO CHECK UNDER IT WHILE A LADY WITH A HIGJAB (whatever you call it) THEY NEVER BOTHERED HER!!
I see the rules are for some not all...

They are definitely making an effort with the new terminal, but the baggage claim is still third world.

Just left there. It used to be easy and fast but now the traffic lanes are blocked due to valet parking, always congested. Not what it used to be for sure.

Worst Airport. Staff just doesn t care. Work ethic is myth at this place.

Worst airport of all times. Hands down! Nice facility, but the worst signage and staff. On our way out we flew in and out of the same terminal and no issues... flew back to terminal 1 and were flying out of terminal 3... Good luck figuring that out! Signs everywhere, pointing nowhere. Shuttle non existent. Staff cranky and non responsive. Lucky we had several hours layover, otherwise we'd still be there. NEVER AGAIN!

Airport is pretty yes! But if you are connecting flights or doing immigration here, avoid it! We ended up having to rent a hotel for the night close by and purchasing air tickets from there to NY because of immigration back up of about 3 hours when we got there at night!! Spirit Airline didn't have a flight next day so we had to book with jet blue to get to NY. This ended up costing us $1200 extra.

Not a very clean airport staffed by unfriendly employees with minimal shopping/food options to bide your time.

Very crowded airport at all times - decent foods selection inside. But, I find it kind of vicious that they blare the A.C. to extreme levels at night to keep people out - had a long layover and it was so cold it was absurd.

Worst passenger accommodations in the US. Very limited choice of food / restaurants and most of them, including Starbucks, are closed by 8pm even though our flight is scheduled past 9pm.

Your airport is in dire need of revamping. It is disorganized and way to small to accommodate large cruise ships. I have never stood in so many lines in my life or had to sit on the floor because there was not enough chairs in the waiting area.. No restaurants. I will not fly in or out of it ever again. I will drive from another airport if I come to this area. This is the first impression a lot of people have of your city and my impression was not to good. I suggest you do something about it.

What Can i say... everything is wrong. You need at least 3 hours for connecting flights..

Security is pretty fast. If you get there early the places to eat are solid.

Not the newest but nice and clean, awesome view from runway 10L take off!!!

Sucks. Crowded, dirty, smelly. Wifi doesn't work when crowded. Avoid at all cost.

Not enough seating areas and WiFi cannot support the amount of passengers who are trying to get online during busy travel times. Restaurant/food options are minimal and over crowded. Probably the most inefficient TSA set up I ve experienced in my travels. I would recommend avoiding this airport during peak travel times.

Everything seems to work fine in this airport, so far has no conplaint, you can do lot of last minute shops, and there is also many places with exelent and diversity food, there is pizza, and cuban food too. Shutle buses do a great job, and checking line is not bad. I even notice how an airline call a missing passenger like 10 times before closing the boarding door. Flights to Cuba from here too.

Best airport in South Florida. One of the top in the US.

Security checkpoints are fast and efficient, food prices are expensive but great customer service and taste...

Very poor public restroom accommodations. For men, there is only 1 restroom with 5 stalls for each entire terminal. Horrible planning.

Beats going through the craziness that is Miami International. Always had a quick and easy experience flying internationally and domestically.

Do not pay taxes for purchases in the boarding area, e.g. Starbucks.

This is the worst service I have ever run in to at an airport employees scolded peopled until tears they didn't know what they were talking about and were blatenly rude...... I went into a coffee shop and asked about non dairy milk the women who was chewing her nails and picking her teeth told me that they had skim milk....
I expected better from this airport on a count of me spending almost 300 dollars on a plane ticket
Next time fly into a different airport if you want decent service at least I will

I prefer flying into FLL vs Miami. It's easier to get around, cheaper for Southwest Airlines and less crowded.

It s a very beautiful airport! Really clean and organized! I get why so many people are saying that it s a long walk, but the airport still isn t done with construction. There s going to be trains and that ll make it more faster and easier.

Constant trumpet and saxophone on every loud speaker interrupted only when theMark Bogun wants to advertise his sports team. It's not conducive to any rest or sense of calm. 6 hour layover and it never stopped. Poor Kim Waters doesn't know that passengers are being forcefully subjected to his music. Do they really need 2 speakers every ten feet?

There are some nice rocking chairs to ease of your wait

With a lot less people in it more comfortable. More work being done on one of the bridges from the parking lot to the terminal that had been done not that long ago. Check before you park.

Airport with long walking distances, the connection to the city is not outstanding. The security check is tedious. Some employees very friendly, some very unfriendly!

God awful airport, rude staff, always a long wait on the tarmac for our gate (even when we arrive on time), everything airside (inc. Water) v expensive...if I could give 0 star I would. Expect to wait min 1 hour for bags on carousel. No priority in lines when travelling with small restless children.

A good way to fly in and out of southern Florida. I see myself returning in the future.

This airport was by far the worst one I ve been too and I travel often. We had a connecting flight from Mexico to Ft Lauderdale then to Philadelphia. We had to go through customs in Florida and due to customs taking soo long over 3 hours we missed our connecting flight to Philadelphia. We had to The wait in another 2 hr line to get another flight which didn t fly out until the next day at noon! They would not comp our hotel so we had to pay for a hotel and ride to and from the hotel to get back to the airport the next day. This is by far the worst airport experience I ve ever had! Will not fly into Ft Lauderdale again.

They need more signs for Cell Phone Waiting area. Follow the signs for Parking and then go to your left. Look for the signs on top

Really nice to stand in the immigration line for two hours when having a connecting flight. Everyone need to go out of the immigration and check in again. It seems like a lot of people missed their connecting flight.

This is one of the worst airports I have ever flown into and out of. The building itself it set up ridiculously. It is not easy to find your way around at all. There are no food options and nothing seems to be organized at all. I will never fly into this airport again.

Easy to get to, especially when returning a rental car. Not quite as friendly as Texas, but that's not on the airport, I guess. Good experience overall.

It s very easy to find your way around this airport and everyone I ve personally ever talked to has always been so kind and informative. I ve never had any issues with this airport.

I loved being there, they are also friendly in their attention and they help you with luggage trolleys, excellent service and help for the user.

One of the more easy airports I ve fly out of frequently. It doesn t have the more food options but it s pretty easy with security unless you re with spirit and you need to check a bag GO EARLY! For international flight GO EARLY TOO! other wise 30-45 mins for security it s the most I ve ever waited!

unfortunate but in the arrival area the guards and police are very insolent, bulgar and with very little education and professionalism. this in the same way with people who obey the rules as well as those who break them. truly a spectacle in the negative.

This is the most filthy airport I've ever been to. Garbage in all the waiting areas. The bathrooms were cleaner than the jet blue gates. Pretty disgusting when you have a long layover.

Functional but not very appealing, no seating opportunities and barely any restaurants or stores. Nothing before the security check point. When we started boarding, there were no announcements if any sorts, everyone just kinda flocked and got on the plane. I dont care for this airport at all

Great layout inside the airport, epitome of stupidity award for traffic routing design outside. A kamikaze would feel right at home driving a vehicle for passenger pick up/drop off.

ON JUNE 14 I ok a flight on allegeiant airline. Checked my suitcase at the Allegint desk.
On My arrival at Asheville I unpacked to find my suitcase had been gone through and my medication for mY RA condition was missing. Wich happened to be an opioid. This ruined
My vacation as you cannot replace opioids. I will report this to the police and the airport securuty

Under construction takes forever to get bags shuttle to car rental could be a long wait.

the restrooms are always clean some areas are better than others. the food at some of the places are crazy with how long you wait for your food.

The airport itself is nice and clean. Not the fault of airport, But I would want to warn people not use the taxi outside terminal. The meter shows $13 But the driver told us the fair is $20 and he is not happy until We pay him $30. Uber would be better choice If We know taxi in Ft launderdale can be such chaos.
