Long term parking is a nightmare. Get an uber if you can. Poor signage, always full. The tram drivers are very helpful, the best! if not for them, it would be impossible!

Getting checked in was awful with long lines and a pushy staff. There was a lady who had taken my bag out of my hand forcing it into the plastic box.

This is the most disorganized airport I have even seen. No one knows what they are doing. I have never had any issues flying except for this airport. Avoid at all cost.

Congratulations Fort Lauderdale Airport. You now rank number 5 on the top 10 worst airports that I have ever been to. Someone should seriously teach the staff how to smile and while your at it, get them to loose the attitude. I'm on holiday, I'm happy. Just because your not doesn't give you the right to push your doom and gloom on the visitors.

Well Since We Go There A Lot Of Times From Now I Love It ! Well The Airport Had A Lot Of Waiting That Is The Only Part That I Don^t Like . But Also Last Time They Gave Me A Volleyball . I Just Love That Airport .

I love this airport more than MIA, but second terminal (delta) is really needs to be improved.

Very weird to have to check in at one Terminal and go to another Terminal for the flight itself. Also, Terminal 4 could be the most boring Terminal in the history of terminals...

Love this airport and the hospitality I received from literally everyone I've encountered.

I hate going to this airport. The traffic getting there is always a disaster. The airport is constantly under construction. I find nothing appealing about this place. BTW I love Palm Beach Airport.

Easy to find. However, it was hard to find where to leave the rental car.

Friendly and easy international airport, but.. where are the water fountains or facilities to fill a water bottle? I do not want to pay for, carry, or dispose of another bottle.

Secondary airport, without many amenities, but because it is smaller, it does not have crowds of people and it is easier to transit.

Place is a joke. I do alot of traveling and I gotta say this is one of the worst headaches ever man.

i am sick and tired of trying to find flight information and having to listen to a computer try to guide me around then finally getting to where i need to go via phone and not having all the information i need, i'd rather talk to a human being then listen to a stupid recording that takes forever.

Airport a little old-fashioned that should be renewed. The tail of 3 hours at the customs at 2:30 in the morning had never happened to me in any other American airport

Complicated this airport and the people who work there as they do not know much I wait from 2 pm till 8 at night that they gave me wrong information and at 10 pm I left the airport because 2 days later the airline gave me the flight back to maryland my state was bad experience if they called the customer so cell phone or by airport speakers in spanish was better

If I could put no stars, I would. My home town is Boston Massachusetts and my experience with this Ft. Lauderdale airport is disappointing. The service assistance was Very unorganized. People cutting line's, self service kiosk's we're no good... Getting into the airport is insane, there is one way in and out with no pull off area for specific flight. Boston is very busy but they manage it efficiency. Come 4 hrs early or your not likely to make your flight.

I WAS A PEDESTRIAN ON THE STREET AND WAS STRUCK BY A QUICK AND SAFE SHUTTLE VAN. ALMOST LOST MY HAND AND WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED

I think the International Airport and other businesses associated with quick and safe should drop their association with quick and safe shuttle IMMEDIATELY!

This airport is trying to freeze me to death... must be 30 degrees outside and 10 degrees inside.

No, just no! I travel frequently to the USA and I expect the arrival process to be slow - it always is, but this place is in a league of its own.
After a nine and a half hour flight I arrived at FLL and once inside the terminal building, I joined my first line. This line took 50 minutes to reach the automatic passport machines. The machines were agonisingly slow, taking over 10 minutes to accept our passports.
After successfully passing through the machines we joined another line, this time for 40 minutes. The purpose of this line was simply to get to the front! At the front was an airport officer who directed everyone to another line - there appeared to be a choice of five lines that the lady could choose to send us to.
The third line, the one we were sent to by the officer, took another 50 minutes of our lives and once at the front we had our passports checked by an officer in a booth. I have no idea why everyone's passport had to be checked by BOTH an machine and an officer and the airport management have failed to even recognise this as an issue.
Finally, after seeing the officer we were permitted to leave the airport, but not before walking past posters that proclaimed that FLL treats all its customers with dignity and respect!
So, after two hours and thirty minutes of standing in line (goodness knows how this feels for the elderly or infirm) we were outside, feeling rather less dignified and respected than the airport might expect.
As a quick comparison, when we returned to London Gatwick, 10 days later, we were met by 30 automatic passport machines and the time taken to get through immigration was 7 minutes! FLL have a lot to learn.
I will never use this airport again.

I would slap the people involved with the design and layout of this place. Why pedestrians have to walk through traffic when leaving the parking areas, and all traffic must stop every time a person crosses. High traffic means congestion and total disorder.

I prefer the d miami better attention this the staff a little slow.

The waiting areas, it always have an unpleasant smell :/
This is my second time here and they don t seem to maintain this place clean.

Horrible service! The TSA staff and Southwest associates were unorganized and ornery. My bag was literally 1.2lbs over and the Southwest associate stated he would charge $75 for an overage fee. I removed a couple of items and stated "If it's over this time it is what it is, I'll pay the fee." The associate went on and on taunting me over the statement. Not only is the staff unfriendly, but the building is still very much so under construction. The ceilings are nonexistent in most areas. And word to the wise, if you're running late you'll most like miss your flight. I was dropped off by an uber at 11:58pm. It is currently 12:46pm and I am still standing at the gate to check in. The flight is scheduled to leave at 1:25 pm. I decided to fly into Ft. Lauderdale because it was much cheaper than Miami. However, I will pay the extra money to avoid this airport at all costs. BEWARE!

Small, clean restrooms, several restaurants to choose from (Chili's is verrrrry slow so don't go there if you can't spend more than an hour). Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Nice airport but the TSA us so rude they talk to you if you are worthless and we pay them for that they can bea little nicer if they don't like there job fine another one but don't be mean

A big shout out to the ladies who helped us find our shuttle to our hotel at the terminal 2 pick up. They confirmed our location, talked to the shuttle driver on the phone and got us on the shuttle. All with smiles. A huge thank you to them and their patience with confused tourists and ornery drivers.

Something seriously needs to be done with updates for this airport. The infrastructure is horrible, I would try hard to avoid on a busy cruise port day. There are Very limited eating places & terminals always seem to be packed. Even the Delta crown room here is very outdated. You are making a fortune off of all the cruise passengers in and out of this airport, use some of this money to make some upgrades please.

Arrivals is a mess, people park in the loading and unloading zone.. They need more Broward sheriffs to help with the traffic situations

FtL is a great Airport and alternative to the insane cluster at miami with domestic and international flights it is a much better choice. Always growing and getting busier it is still a home town airport. Remember always get there early due to Check in and tsa

My flight was cancelled, it was supposed to leave at 6pm, however, it started to pull out at 9pm, until a minor fight happened. The flight never left the airport, now it's 10:54, and I have nothing to eat.

It is what you expect in an airport. Much better than MIA including the traffic when trying to leave etc. The only place to fly from if you're in south Florida.

Wonderful staff all the way round! Immigration, customs, TSA... all very friendly and lovely. I had 45 minutes to get from an international flight to a non connecting domestic flight and the staff were beyond helpful. I was so stressed and even still they were able to make me smile and laugh.

The airport was easy to move through and easy to understand. TSA was quick and smooth. I was warned that lines would be long but they weren't bad with how quick the lines moved.

I made it to my next flight.... which I had already given up on reaching. Huge thanks to the staff for making it possible.

I thought Miami was bad..

This is the most inefficient airport I ve ever been to. I m traveling with two kids and had to return a rental. Fair warning if you are flying Delta you have zero good options for getting between terminals save for a shuttle bus. Which if you are using a luggage cart you re out of luck. We walked with a stroller two car seats and all our bags on the lower level to terminal 2. Once there the delta agents (who had to see we were struggling) had to finish their conversation and laughing while we waiting 10 minutes before they checked out bags. I ll never come to this city again just to avoid this god awful airport.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Horrible hostess with no communication. Plenty of open seating yet we were told a 20 min wait...30 min later STILL waiting even after watching 8 people leave. Poorly run, which means poor management and NO SENSE OF URGENCY to take care of people. Terrible customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!!!!

I love traveling through Fort Lauderdale airport is comfortable, fast, clean & 100% recommended customer service

I'm not a fan of the customs experience here but the staff are professional and helpful

Bravo! Good job on the many recent changes at FLL. I think all my previous issues here have been addressed. The consolidated security is faster, and there is plenty of room to hang out before a flight, plus lots of places for food and stuff.

I like that you can get some good fares here, and on the smaller better airlines. But the security here has become so disorganized, slow, and awful. The tiny terminals have very few amenities... like a place to sit. And leaving the parking garage is a blind merge nightmare, for no real reason. This place could 5 star with even a little common sense and management.

New facilities, but twice in two days, the tower imposed ground stops for hours when the nearest thunderstorm was over 15 miles away. Trigger happy tower...... Not a great place for connections as a result.

Courtesy, indeed! Yet, where's the food?! Very poor options.

Allegiant airlines failed to update their app when I looked at the app it said I board at 6:30 but when i looked at the gate it said flight delayed to 9:30. The airport is great but this review pertains to the incompetences of allegiant airlines

The last thing I expected to see was a bird flying around the C9 gate. Very unhappy to see this. My wait went from somewhat pleasant to aggrieved. Watching the poor thing fly around and look for food.

average airport. not to big and few food options. is good that have free wi fi.

Plan to spend extra time. This airport is full of people who don't travel much and can't deal with the automated check in/TSA. Security also complicates things by not having the lines streamlined.

Avoid Avoid Avoid. Not possible to find worse service, equal delays, and or rude employees. Hell, shuttle driver 525 yells at you in God knows what language. Also plane not assigned parking, 20 minutes to open door and airport escalators not working. Not first time. Will never flight through Airport again.

Easy and fast, walk to car rental on site, easy highway access. Easy rental car drop off, short walk through security and to gate.

I always get efficient service at the Hollywood airport. Especially when traveling internationally. The airport staff as well as vendor associates are truly helpful and courteous.

Small airport but with international flights at a good price

One person tells us we can check in 4 hours before our flight, then we are told we can t check in until 2 hours before our flight leaves. How does a person eat and get 2 small children through the security and get them food. We will never use this airport again. What poor communication and service

The staff I interacted with weren't the warmest of the bunch but the airport suffices.

Don t fly into/from this airport. Workers are so rude and do not care about their job. I wish I could rate this city too just to give them a horrible review. Never visiting here again.

There is a lack of basic amenities with need of upgraded facilities and food choices. There is one bathroom in upper concourse level and no bathrooms on lower concourse. Unfortunately, if you find yourself at this airport, it's too late and are questioning life choices. I give this airport the extra star for 2 stars because our plane took off on time.

The airport is outdated. There aren t enough signs to direct you to the correct location and the bathrooms are dirty, broken, and just generally unclean.

I've been in hundreds of airports. Easily the worst ever. Terrible selection, rude staff at multiple locations and it all closed at 9. International airport, my a**!!!

Very bad the companies fill the flights and have no respect whatsoever for social distancing now when you arrive at the airport they stop the whole flight they entered us as through a basement and k if the mask more than 200 people without air conditioning in that basement waiting well my flight arrived at 5 something and I left there almost at 7 and my ticket came out perfect, I don't even want to imagine what time the people came out with the ballot marked and with children they only had 4 exits of terrible emigration working

Easy access. Forced to pay for a bag that could go upstairs with me, that made my trip upset.

B- | Well themed Florida airport decorated with palm trees and calm attendees. This is a rather nice airport and large.
