Quick and easy. Had seperating exit doors so no one came in contact at the same time. Very pandemic friendly.

We missed our connecting flight because customs took absolutely FOREVER. 6 flights arrived at the same time and the airport just seems unable to handle the amount of people coming in at times like this. Must have taken 2 hours to get through customs and then we waited another hour in line to even book a flight for the next morning. I'm thankful that we got in line when we did because that line began to get ridiculously long as well. It sounds like this happens quite frequently and the airport apparently refuses to expedite connecting flights for whatever reason. Employees were friendly but the airport just seems too incompetent to handle several flights coming in at once. My family was able to book a flight for the next morning (yay for 4 hours of sleep) but the family next to us in line, the next flight they could get to their destination was 2 days later. I really hope this airport figures some things out, for everyone's sake.

Also, food options could be better.

I honestly felt like I was in a rescue center after a natural disaster. People were crammed everywhere, sitting on the floor everywhere. The entire facility was small amd tight. Restrooms included with trash inside. Would much rather pay to fly somewhere else.

Great job minding social distancing while continuing to provide stellar, friendly, and professional service!

3 hours from flight landing to driving off in a rental car. A disgrace. Does no one care about the passengers?

Get ready to spend your whole day here. They stop working every time it rains and it rains often. It s stopped raining over an hour ago, but they still won t refuel planes.

Not much you can do except complain how poorly managed this airport is.

Not everyone is able to walk the vast distances between the arrival gate, baggage pick up and car rental. If you are not installing a moving walkway, then at least have staff available to drive the many carts that I saw unstaffed.

Suitcase did not arrive where he should arrive. Staff were very helpful.

Flew SWA great flight.. Horrible experience with TSA rude, bossy and unorganized, then door alarm going off for at least 35minutes and nobody could fix it also 1 men's room in terminal that was filthy. Love Southwest but terminal is a disgrace

It wasn t bad but not the best airport out there. Our closest airport to home is RSW in Ft. Myers. This is much better than FLL. FLL is a bigger airport though. FLL is definitely better than EWR (Newark). That place is too tight. One good thing and probably the only reason why we fly out of FLL is that the rates are a little cheaper and they offer more direct flights to more parts of the country.

Two hours in customs. One lone soldier at mobile pass for hundreds of people to process. Will never travel internationally here again.

Had a layover here and this airport is very smelly...Weird comment to make, I know, but it smells horribly in every hall we walked. Smelled like feet and dirty laundry. Could not find any police or staff ANYWHERE. Our gate entrance was empty, no staff from our airline anywhere to be found. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and no way to ask anyone any details. Not an enjoyable layover

No place to sit down while waiting for the flight. Few chargers available for use. The hallways were packed with peaple because of the lack of seating leading to many people bumping into each other

Even with my flight being 45 mins delayed it still was a great experience. They worked hard this a.m. to get us going!

Airport is quite good..Dont try to use SPIRIT airlines...poor maintenance of time...

Horrible! Too many people, the unbearable heat the bathrooms suck and the lines to eat are endless even for a coffee, I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Busy, unorganized, rude crowd, poor signage, lack of seating. People laying all over the ground with luggage.

Staff is super unfriendly. TSA agents here swear they part of FBI or CIA. Parking sucks! BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! Thought I d save some money going here but I clearly am paying the price.

well I landed in Terminal 2 and all I can say its old and need some major upgrade. suck when you take a later flight at 9pm and all the store are closing at 8:30pm. security at this time a breeze no waiting time. I know some terminal got upgraded and I hope terminal 2 will be soon. Beside that easy airport to navigate since you are limited to your terminal of departure or arrival

Line to TCA service, horrible!!! Even Mexico quickly!

Their service is fast, on time, and clean. I had no problems checking out or in!!!!

This horrible looks like a train terminal in Cuba, at least in Delta pueta D1

This is a small terminal with limited food selections. The best thing in this terminal and the reason for my four star rating is there is a private breast feeding pod. One small step to progress as this airport is over due for a MAJOR update.

Gates E5 through E10 smells like someone peed all over the entire place and then rubbed their arm pit on every surface they could. Additionally, they don t have any bottle filling stations in the E terminal and their water pressure was not enough to really fill my water bottle.

Nice airport.Easy to navigate. I was processed through TSA rapidly. Nice selection of restaurants. All things considered, a great place to fly into or out of. It's a much easier place to travel to/from than Miami. I recommend it, if you're flying to this area.

Here we arrived from New York, our new story began here, God welcome us in his arms and bless our steps.

We had a brief 2 hour layover here and it was a pleasant airport to hang out in Terminal 1 until our next flight..

Terminal 1: This is where the Southwest planes land and take off from and that's who we were flying with that day. The terminal had a contemporary modern vibe to it and overall everything look and felt brand new due to a renovation. This was confirmed by the bff who has flown through here throughout the years.
All the restaurants, shops, seats, lighting were new and designed well. There was a huge lounge area with plenty of tables, seats and outlets to power up your laptop and phone. The huge/glass wall window gives a good view of the airport.

Overall Terminal 1 at FLL is a pretty decent terminal to lounge around until you jump on your next flight. Safe flight!

Its always a Sunny day in florida / whats better is the airport is close to the beaches of ft Lauderdale (highly recommended to go2 the local beaches if you're visiting Florida for the first time)

Friendly service at this airport. I always feel safe traveling here. Cops are present and attentive.

FYIx TSA OFFICIALS ARE THERE TO GUIDE YOU SAFETLY THRU YOUR JOURNEY HOME. Theres no point in giving attitude. JUST DO WAT THEY SAY?!? BC they are there to keep the airplanes safe. free of weapons n such.

So that being said. In your luggage you should Store your liquids that are above 2 oz because they will ask you to throw it away. But yknew that if youre a frequent flyer lol

Been to a lot of airports in the world and this airport is very easy to navigate. It does need to have a few more drink and eat options pre-security side. TPA is an airport to follow. Have a few more options.

This airport is very well organized and it is surprisingly easy to find your way around, even if you rarely fly.

HORRIBLE!!!!!
It is absolutely unnecessary that my sister who is 17 and my twin brothers(one is half blind) who are 7 could NOT receive the proper service to get to their flight on time. They were all under aged and missed flight because nobody would help them and kept pushing them around. It was absolutely frustrating and heartbreaking to think that my little siblings couldn't receive help they deserved to get to their flight AFTER she asked multiple times for help,while I was on the phone, the security answered her rudely and didn't let her speak. Never again.

Limited food options in terminal 2. Need bars and places to congregate. Need a few tables for kids to play or adults to play cards.

Whose bad idea was it to install valet parking at the airport? This morning at 5:30 AM the roads at the airport were bumper to bumper stalled traffic. It's because of the valet parking - everyone jammed into two lanes. This is ridiculous and inconsiderate - inconveniencing hundreds of people just so a few people can make money.

Nice and small airport. Kind of crowded on a Sunday evening departure. Good amount of power outlets for charging.

The police here are a joke, my wife was strapping our baby daughter in her car seat, a dumb ass cop came in and started shouting at her to move the car, she told him what she was doing and he told her that he didn't care and to move it. Luckily my wife is smarter than this pos and finished buckling our daughter before moving.

Entry from I-95 is easy, Airport not as crowded and confusing as Miami International Airport. Reasonable distsnce to walk to departure gate. Return from flight and exit are quick. I prefer to travel and from from Fort Lauderdale -Hollywood Airport.

This used to be such a great airport. Walking between termminals is terrible. There isnt enough room on the sidewalk AND NO way to walk inside. Terminal 1 is goofy with three levels and lack of signage it is difficult to get around. 3rd floor is hotter than Haiti. Food options poor quality with soggy sandwiches and old bagel with sausage from breakfast still for sale at 2 PM. Baggage claim at international area is sorely undersized as is customs maze. Get with it already as they have been renovating forever.

Nice airport and has connectivity from tri rail. Has nice options for International and domestic travels.

Delta terminal. Cramped. Crowded. Only reason to be here is lower cost for flight than to Miami. One restaurant a bagel shop. Are you kidding me. Cruising out of Miami. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra and fly to Miami. Up yours Broward County Mayor coming over the PA every 10 minutes. Work on your infrastructure before you brag.

Worst airport I have ever traveled through. There is no organization, the customer service provides no service at all, and even walking through the airport is a hassle because there are far too many people to accommodate with these tiny areas. We will go out of our way to find another destination in the future-just to avoid the chaos of this airport.

I like how small it is inconvenient and the access to the gates are perfect expanding on the bathrooms great idea great job, My number one concern is this:,

All these people walking back and forth clean and they re not really cleaning, use vacuum

The windows are extremely dirty from the inside people like to watch the blades but we cannot do Through a dirty glass

Arguably one of the worst airports I have had to fly in/out of. I have been flying out of this airport for six week and constantly delayed/canceled flights - a large part due to airplane turnaround time/air traffic control. Terminals are packed. Lack of designated space for each gate. Barely any restaurants. The terminals are so small that it makes it consistently congested between neighboring gates.

The only perk about FLL is the fast TSA security line. Otherwise this airport has nothing going well for themselves.

Nowdays everybody can ask for a wheelchair service, incredible, last trip from bogota, there was 2 ladies normal in El Dorado, walking, talking and when they arrived to FLL, and their family, they took the wheelchair service with the whole family.
Please fix that or next time I will do the same

Good luck if you have to go to another terminal after your flight lands! You get to walk there AND... you get to go through security AGAIN! SO all your great duty free things get confiscated.

Easy in and out airport. Could use better food options!

This airport is so simple to get in and out of. It is clearly marked inside and outside.

The airport is an easy to navigate airport with a tram on the ground to get to each terminal. I would say the airport is pretty clean for an airport. The ATC I would say does good at keeping the air traffic in shape so the planes don t have wait that long.

Horrible shuttles, check in process, and terminal amenities!

Very easy airport to navigate.
Security checkpoints are well staffed and the lines move quickly.
The free wifi is fast.
The only negative is the lack of quality dining options.

Truly the worst airport I've ever been to. Coming in from outside the country for a connecting flight, and we literally had to wait two hours in Immigration..... meanwhile, when we spoke with the immigration officer it literally took thirty seconds, and the only things she asked were already covered in the electronic questionnaire we took two hours prior.

Please keep in mind, most other countries and advanced airports have separate lines for US Citizens...but not FLL.

To top it all off, I had the absolute worst case of food poisoning from one of their restaurants.

Do yourself a favor and choose ANY other airport to fly into. Truly heinous.

Clean,organized, friendly staff, lots of food and shopping options. Free wifi and alot of outlets to charge your electrical devices. Def going to visit again. ,

Nice airport, a month ago I was there and I found easy access for everything

Used to be my preferred Airport between the other options in South Florida but lately the airport has made it very difficult to use our beloved ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. It takes an average of 15+ minutes for a car to arrive due to their new rules. I hope this is fixed ASAP.

They patted my husband down like he was a prisoner and Scanned his hands for explosives, but the white man right behind him was barley patted. They also checked my hair as if I was hiding something in my head, I had braids for my vacation. Worse airport experience in my life! First and last time flying into this airport

Pretty sweet.
Lines usually aren't too long and if they are, the staff takes care of them quickly so you get moving.

Bad experience yesterday. First time through this airport and we had to stand in endlessly long lines in customs and then in security for over two hours straight. Customs was a mess with no good signage, poor communication, and not close to enough employees for the incredible number of people going through that Wednesday evening. Really poor management, this airport needs to be realistic about it can handle.

I had a connecting flight from another airport (to another airport, go figure), but in order to make the flight I had to take a tram that required me (and everyone in similar circumstances) to LEAVE SECURITY to catch the tram. I then had to go BACK THROUGH SECURITY meaning the drinks I got at the last airport had to be chugged or thrown away. The signs getting me to the terminals and tram were unclear or outright conflicted with the next sign one would see. The airport was clean, but the staff seemed SO done. I can't blame them. It is worth a few hundred extra dollars to avoid this airport. One might be better off walking or hitch hiking.

Worst air port ever,smallest air port ever no were to really eat and no place to charge your phone,unless you are in a select terminal. Atlanta is Evan better than this!!!

It is a good international airport. There is not so many duty-free options though.

Excellent is very close to my family and it is very easy to pick me up I am very happy with the service it provides.

Airport is ok. But the fact that there is no any lounges is something unbelievable. No ticketing in terminal 3. No seats or waiting area.
Nowhere to feed a baby

I LOVE coming to FL because the airport is one of the best. It is small, but still has 4 terminals and the parking is super easy. This past trip we rented a car that was delivered to the airport, but generally we rent off property. The taxis are easy to jump into and baggage claim is large. Also super easy access to an onsite Starbucks make this five stars for us.

I had no major problems. I just found the part that the car rental companies are a little confused, but by asking for information I managed to find it.

I travel through this airport a couple of times per year, the staff is very helpful, and I have to admit that the airport in general is showing a lot of improvement every year, which is the reason for my five star rating. My recommendation will be to install more charging stations in the old terminals. Overall, I do recommend this airport.

The airport is still expanding - so there s a chance that you may encounter closed paths and construction. Each terminal is very different from the other. Terminal 1 is large and has a plethora of restaurants past security, not to mention art displays (paintings, sculptures, etc). Terminal 2, holding Delta & others, has various restaurants past security yet it s not as hip as Terminal 1. It s also smaller. The only food area you ll find outside is a Starbucks on the 1st floor. Terminal 3 holds Jet Blue, American, and a few others. It s still going through renovations and has no restaurants before security - everything is found past it, including Chili s. Terminal 4 holds Spirit and a few small carriers, has a newly renovated area, and has restaurants before and after security. It s your best bet to grab a bite if you re waiting for someone. It also receives all international flights. Parking is great and centered, very easy and quick to get to terminals - $3 per hour ($36 max) on short term parking and $15 per day on long term parking. There s always space. Airport staff is polite and all areas are usually very clean. TSA is usually fast compared to MIA. Definitely recommend leaving and arriving here.
