Very clean but the TSA people need more training as a retired police from a very large city they do not have the proper people skills.

I wanted to highlight the level of honesty and great service Edith from the janitorial services provided. Edith found my cell phone that I had left in the bathroom. She kindly returned it to the security office. Thank you

Reasonable airport in comparison with other US airports. It can be better and more organized.

2 hrs to get from customs to my next flight. I was lucky that it was a 4 hrs layover. Others missed their connecting flight, because of customs.

Had an early flight on Delta, got there 1.5hr early but staff didn't show up until an hour before the flight.

Very busy but clean with many shops. Hard to recharge your phone.

It was a perfect trip and the airport staff very friendly.

I love this airport, organized in each terminal, very good security. The only thing missing is more cafeterias and restaurants.

Since when did Fort Lauderdale airport started charging people for translation? My brother had to come from Bradenton early to get his flight that was at 2pm from JetBlue to Haiti so I had to leave early to get back home cus of work I told him get a translator for when he needs to talk to the ticket person apparently they charge him $5 just so they could tell him were to go hmmm I didn't know your charge people just to help them that will be the last time your will get my service.

Everything went well until today that made me check 2 hand luggage that they said were very large and I have been traveling almost 2 years with the same luggage and for this same airport I do not understand today I felt mistreated the lady was not kind to me not at all very disappointed ahh and what annoys me the most is to see that other people carried the suitcase just like mine and even more and very large backpacks let them pass anything that today did not like the lady

Smaller regional airport that has a TSA line and a United Club lounge

I've been on the plane for more than 1 hour due to alleged customs congestion

Terrible, airport could not handle any of the air traffic.Our flight had to TAXI FOR 30 MINUTES because it could not find a parking spot. We had less than an hour to catch our connecting flight and in spite of informing the officials no one helped us.

Not bad for an airport. Can be a little stressful at high traffic times.

Fort Launderdale airport was easy to navigate when we arrived and during our departure home. Uber drivers didn't have trouble finding us during pick up whatsoever. Signs were clear, going through TSA Pre-check was smooth. Cheaper tickets to/from FLL compared to MIA, as others have stated.

Restrooms are fine. Food options are extremely limited. Gate B had an Auntie Anne's, Landshark Diner, Sergio's, Torn Basil, and a couple of grab-and-go spots. FLL will be adding a Margaritaville later in the year. Construction still in progress.

Usually TSA but not this time. 3 security for TSA and the same for regular long line

Fort Lauderdale has made many improvements. But Delta is filthy

Go to another airport because these employees are rude, threatening , and disrespectful. TSA Has to have a little charm school and teach respect when its shown to them. The facility looked clean.

Excellent place, very spacious place and good places to eat and buy souvenirs

Moving between terminals is a huge hassle as this is done by shuttle buses plying congested roads. There should at least be air-conditioned walking bridges connecting all of them. The one bridge connecting Terminals 3 and 4 doesn't even have a moving walkway.

Getting on the Tri-Rail also requires an arduous shuttle bus ride.

Ground transportation waiting areas don't have sufficient shelter from either sunlight or rain.

If you compare two airports. Fort Lauderdale and Miami, then of course Miami is better. it's not as cozy here as it is there. and it doesn't work well without it

This airport absolutely Sucks when it comes to food choices especially breakfast! The burger place you have to wait nearly an hour for your food & they get your order wrong! For breakfast there was only Auntie Ann's. That's not really breakfast. This airport could learn ALot from Airports in Texas like George Bush International airport in Houston, Love Field in Dallas & San Antonio International Airport in San Antonio! The only bright spot was the restrooms were clean & security didn't take long!

Really good service, fast WiFi that is free! Has some restaurants what more could you ask for?

It's south Florida in July. HVAC down for the afternoon shows incompetence at the management level. No excuses.

Been to nicer third world country airports. Terminal 1 is disgusting.

The airport has signs to direct right to where you need to go.

With spaces ordered. Functional for any local or international traveler. Accessible and comfortable. With well-conditioned services. Clean toilets, well-marked traffic areas, cleared and easily mobile. A well planned airport with excellent location in the city. I like it a lot.
Unfortunately United's operating system makes traveling extremely uncomfortable and annoying. I arrived more than two hours before to document my flight and request my seat. They did not assign it to me. But they did it with those who arrived later. When I check in before boarding, they tell me that the flight is full and they give me seats that I do not like. If your logistics are so "cheap" and lack of efficiency, it is definitely not a service that I want to use. United, you stop being an option for my trips.

Shockingly poor. Over two hours standing in queues for customs on arrival. No facilities. Staff rude and uncaring.

Convenient to where I live. Nice amenities. Security is often efficient. It's an airport that doesn't suck.

It's a very small airport. A little restaurants too.

Leaving out of Ft Lauderdale I received the best service. Being disabled and running late I had airport personnel help me to the jet. I wish I had gotten his name, he went above and beyond!

My plane landed an hour ago - we re all still waiting for luggage to start coming through the carousel. Not to mention, everyone on the plane had to guess the claim number because NONE of the carousels were marked correctly.

Great location and easy access, with a lot of car rental nearby. It could be a bit more organized internally.

Hands down the worst airport I have ever flown to. Almost nonexistent directional signage. Unable to even determine what terminal I should be in. Try to ask for information from an employee & u would think I had asked for their social security numbers. Then when u got a grudgingly answer, it was invariably wrong.The only reason I finally got my connecting flight was because it was delayed by 3 hours, which turned into 5. It took 30 to 40 min just to get a boarding pass printed, although ticket was already purchased & checked in. I will never return to this airport or the airline that I used! Avoid FLL @ all costs!!!!!

Honestly, this airport Sucks at all levels. Bad Traffic, Poor Roads, Expensive Parking, Dirty Terminals, Flight Delays, Less than helpful Staff, Confusing Car Rentals. Only positive is they finally put in working Wi-Fi, so you can see just how long your flight WILL be delayed.

The people that work there are so lazy and rude !

Every single time I've asked an employee for any sort of directions they either gave me the laziest most useless directions, or were mentally impaired (I don't mind being served by someone with any sort of medical impairment, but when you're giving people help and directions it doesn't make sense).

Everything in this airport just feels like a prison, and customer service is horrible.

TSA agents sleeping on counters, other employees lounging in the seating areas using all power outlets for the entire duration of our 8 hour lay over. Food vendors too busy flirting with cleaning crew to take our orders, walked away from two already because they wouldnt acknowledge us. Horrible place

Small little airport, really outdated, we ate at Chili's Too in our terminal and the service was terrible! Oh and don't go for breakfast. Eggshells were found in the scrambled eggs, toast was just barely toast, and the french toast was just regular toast with cinnamon sugar, and pancakes were like oven mitts. Our server told us they did not accept Chili's gift cards, even though they are a chili's chain.

Immigrations and customs at Fort Lauderdale Airport are like 15years behind modern airports. If you have connections flights within 2 hours of arriving (3 if flying spirit) you might have a hope. Anything inside of that though forget it

TSA guy gave me attitude for walking into the premier line, stating, "You can't walk in there like you own the place."

Customer service is non existent while they held my father in immigration for over an hour with arriving two hours early. This place is a mess and employees are immature, on and made rude remarks in front of other customers about one that just complained earlier.

This morning (12/23/19) around 1 am, I went to pick up my son who was arriving on a flight. It was raining and the arrival area was completely flooded. What a disgrace, there were numerous cars that had stalled due to the flooding. There are third world countries that have better airports. Broward County should be ashame.

horrible staff..rude rude rude TSA staff and JEt blue Staff. i watched in horror as luggage was cracked and destroyed by being piled onto a carousel. Jet Blue check in agents Mr. Lead very rude and unhelpful at 6am! Unreal experience... I hope to never come through here again

I will not call him a gentleman..i will call him a man, the one that helped us with my brother in a wheelchair, he was one of the most RUDE individuals I've ever met and stood there waiting for a tip! ABSOLUTELY NOT!

An excellent and practical place. It is not complicated and has very complete facilities. It is highly recommended to travel at comfortable prices.

This is the worst air port on this planet! The staff is completely rude, unprofessional, and bunch of individuals lacking any form of intelligence. This woman has the nerve to tell me if I don't like how things are done then don't travel. No body was talking this woman who shouldn't have a job dealing with the public of she's going to speak to people like that. Plus this woman is training someone. REALLY!

This is a nice, clean, organized airport. Much better flying/arriving via FLL than MIA; it is night and day.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid. So inefficient, rude, awful people working there. I can't believe BA is coming here. What a mistake. Come with plenty of time to queue everywhere. Disgusting

It's an airport that is overflowing with people in all directions and not enough space. The food isnti appealing and is rather expensive. I would avoid and connect elsewhere unless in a bind.

Their signs for the different airlines are hard to see outside, and the signs that are inside are very confusing for older flyers

Airport has no charging ports for people. It s layout is too crowed and the TSA was obnoxiously rude. Compared to our hometown airport this place lacks in so many ways.

There's a park and you can sit and watch the planes take off and land

Terminal 1 is very nice and looks like it was newly renovated. WIFI is amazing.

The worst place on earth. Stuck here for eleven hours. Hummus sandwich, a salad, a yogurt, and bottle of water - $37! Thanks Mark Bogen, Mayor of Broward County, you really skinned us! As your PA announcements EVERY NINETY SECONDS for eleven hours reminded us - you are responsible for this hell hole of ripoff prices!

Seriously FLL, you re a large airport with only 2 Starbucks but 1,000 harvest and grounds that sell no iced coffee and you re located in the hottest state. Explain this to me. /rant

2 experiences with this airport:
1st: Connected through FLL and had to literally LEAVE THE AIRPORT, leave security, walk almost a mile to a completely different terminal, then check back through security. We had 1 hr to connect and barely made it. Apparently there's shuttles but was not directed to them.

2nd: Dropped Rental car which was easy enough but then had to shuttle to our terminal. There were easily 100-150 people in the queue for the bus to the terminal and after 10 mins of waiting, there were none to be seen. We had to walk to Terminal 1, then try to pick up a shuttle bus - which we didn't see - so then we literally had to take a taxicab from one terminal to another at a cost of $16

How are there no people-movers or security-sanitary buses from one terminal to another? Why are the terminals so small and far apart?!?
My Wife and I have flown through Newark airport and sadly, we're not sure whether FLL is worse or not. Also, the cellphone waiting area is literally 20 parking spaces sandwiched together under an overpass.
