Shuttleport~Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport Review

We were delayed over 2 hours between customs and security. Not organized at all

Airline Allegient. Paid for extra luggage to ensure no over weight. Out of my six bags only received 5 once touched down in MEMPHIS. I knew, when the young ladies said, wow you have six bags I said yes. Now I have to Weight until they find my bag.

I like to travel through this airport, very good dynamics

I am a handicapped person and was told I could not sit down in this mans section unless I was prepared to prepared to pay him cause he was there to make money not help me this is ao sad

Quick and clean. Even more so than usual with the covid. Remarkably few flights coming and going

One of the fastest growing airports in the US. More than two hours in the immigration line.

i beleive it is a wonderful airport and i am visere on saturday hope to see new update and no trobile try just one or twice and see how you like it the under agede kids that are flying by their selves get to boared first snd get special treatment a was under aged or miner and i got to help a flight atendent it was great .

This airport is the LaGuardia of South Florida. Uber pickup is a nightmare at this airport. Traffic is terrible even at night. Huge lines to restaurants. If you live in North use PBI anytime it's possible.

Nightmare of a place. Can t get anywhere without a shuttle, basically no pedestrian access - and not enough shuttles are running, particularly given the limited pandemic capacity. Also, service workers weren t wearing masks.

This airport is the worst I've been to. Avoid it at any cost if you're doing international travel.

I am not sure why this airport struggles go bring more restaurants to be interested in it.
I ve been using this airport for the past five years and there has been little progress.

Southwest side is a lot better than the F and G gates, but it is still light years away from Miami Airport.

It is great if you are late, but not so great if you are early. Charging spots are rare, food or very overpriced specially for boxed sandwiches. As these places have no competition, why bother.

I feel that this airport has the potential of being much better than miami. But as of right now it doesn t seem that they are looking to compete.

What a useless place
No proper seating other than single seats no place to set up laptops about 3 choices for restaurants about 2 places to buy buy things. Just old n out dated n very very small. I'm amazed they have a few charging stations. Would not wanna wait here for hrs that's for sure
I mean really Edmonton Alberta international airport offers way way more.

Airport is getting worse every passing year. More and more people flight and the airport don t seem to do any improvements of any kind. Last time in one flight we came from Europe we had to wait 30 min inside the plane to get a parking spot and the over 2 hrs in immigration. Where are all our taxes going? I visited many third world countries and FLL Airport is worst than any. What a shame!

Had a hard time departing to my destination and was charge and extra $300 because of an extra 6lbs and laptop bag, which is not suppose to check on anyway..The returning flight was good coming back no problem..

Bilingual employees are missing.
It is an International airport

Not a pleasant experience what so ever. Waited in the lines of the allegiant airlines for HOURS! Lack of staff and they do not seem to care that They are making you late for your flight. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

We needed to transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 4. We followed the instructions to the pickup zone and waited. MULTIPLE times the bus drove right past the pickup area. Not a glance in our direction or anything. When a bus finally did stop, the driver went up on the curb before stopping. Then he proceeded to constantly step on the brake so the whole ride was jerky. Once we got to Terminal 4 we checked our bags and then were told to go to Terminal 3. Kind of a screwy setup. Couldn't imagine doing that with small children.

I do not fly very often, but seems that this airport is very efficient. The whole process was quite easy and stress free.

The TSA checkpoint processing was fast, they had many agents and lanes. Always nice to not be in line for two hours.

Top notch -- Best airport still in America and now much nicer.

This place is like a third world country...can't fly out of here fast enough.

Worst customs ever seen in my life. 4h waiting. In africa it works better. I will never fly to this airport again. Avoid this place if you only have an alternative one !!!!!!!!!!

The Allegiant staff were very friendly and helpful today; However, the TSA staff were extremely rude. Very disappointed in the service they provided.

Terminal 2 is like a third world country. Just had a disgusting dinner at the great American bagel and bakery. This was our 2nd choice after we saw the pizza maker drop a pizza at torn basil and then tried to put it back on the counter when no one was looking...this place is gross!

Taxi scam!!! Taxi driver scammed my elder mom. 100 dollars for a ride from terminal to Sunny isles beach.
At the airport they made it extremely difficult to find a spot where you can get picked up by an Uber.

This is the airport you get off when you fly to Miami when you fly with low cost airlines. Built to handle some of Miami's airline demand. It's quite a distance from downtown Miami, so it's an hour's drive or two hours' public transportation. Inside the airport is neat. How to get to downtown Miami by public transportation: 1. Take the free shuttle to the nearest trirail station to Miami International Airport by train, then take the city bus from the airport, or 2. Take the local bus from the airport to the aventura mall bus terminal After going there, there is a way to take the Miami city bus from the terminal. If you go to Uber, it costs more than $ 40, but considering the round trip cost, it is better to use a large airline to Miami International Airport instead of low cost airline.

Airport ok. Quite a few services and restaurants. The pizzeria is ok (Torn Basil) If you are there for a weekend around noon during the cruises season, expect the worst traffic.

Transfer service was sketchy AF. Luggage never made, which I expected since international flights had to leave there bags in front of a white van, which can only take so many bags a trip. A redesign is needed if the state of Florida ever wants to see me back there again.

The staff at JetBlue airport when checking in were extremely unprofessional. No one offered help and when you asked they answered you in 2 words. After being stressed and overwhelmed about flying. Feeling nervous and helpless I thought I could rely on JetBlue staff (who get paid to give customer service) for help and unfortunately I was completely ignored thankfully I figured everything out on my own and boarded my flight safety and correctly. Very disappointed with the lack of attention and concern JetBlue staff has to offer !

Terminal One Security is understaffed. 40 min to get through security in a late afternoon lull is horrible. At issue, recent closure of the C wing security, merging with the two others = fiasco.

What I want to know, is why the f*** they run the AC the way they do. It s uncomfortably cold and I like cold... complete waste of energy.

i go here. good chiles they don't sell chiles though but they sell people in the back. i saw a goat no leash so i ate it. the baggage claim is fun to ride but i ended up in someones car in Pensacola.

Good airport, the transportation to the car rental facility is kind of a hassle. You got a get a bus. Takes a while and is packed.

They don't have much for food options and most of what they did have was closed. We ended up boarding our plane hungry.

Ft Lauderdale Airport is the worst f***ing airport ever. Staff are mean as f**k, it's cold as s**t in here it looks like I'm in jail, and they dont even have a smoking area in here i have to go all the way out and go through all the security controls again. Oh, and the food is garbage.

This has been pretty much been our best airport for traveling to and from Jamaica for my family and I. Short walk easy navigation. Just love it.

Modest but very correct airport! Few services and very few places to eat! The Delta and Air Canada terminal is very small and the waiting room lacks space.

So terrible airport. They don't respect foreigners and behave so rude. Even I ask them something, the answer is like "none of my business" The worst airport ever. I will never come here for connecting the flight!

easy to get through custom and immigration no hassle

First of all, you don't have to go to Miami Airport and that's a big deal!! It's very busy but traffic usually moves along. You can drive up to baggage claim and pick up your party curbside. Terminals are clearly marked at entrances. There may be three doors for terminal 1 and each section has a large 1on it and a list of the airlines. Drive slowly and carefully as there are many pedestrian crossings and the lights change quickly.

Very good working international airport really close to Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Plantation, Margate, Tamarack, etc. 35 minutes away of Miami Airport and 45 minutes away of Miami Beach

Easy self check in bags stands. Plenty of food restaurants, convenience shops. Spacious. Covid ready

To heavy of a crowd and alot of people going different. Plane don't be on time

Not too bad. Good size airport. Easy to get around.

Nice airport, convenient alternative to mia or mco. Close to port everglades for cruises. Most hotels in area have free shuttles or are less tan 12.00 by taxi.

you have to take a bus from the rental car drop off with what feels like a million others all trying to get their over weight luggage on a bus that's far to small. hey all have to push pass you as they get off at the terminal before you .

I used this airport before not today, personally it's one of the best airports in Florida very practical and very easy to take your flight for national or international trips. I think it's better than Miami International Airport.

Greetings I want to know, I will travel from Santiago RD to Fort Lauderdale and from Fort Lauderdale to Cancun Mexico by JetBlue I want to know if I have to emigrate if I have to leave and enter the airport again

I overall hate this airport. It s stuffy, hot and has zero amenities to make you feel comfortable. Somehow it always seems to be packed with people, there s no places to comfortably seat, charge your devices and the food options are terrible an expensive. I always think twice before booking flight that have a layover here. Every time is a bad experience

I believe that the airport will look very nice once the remodeling is finished.

It was nice place and the people that works there where friendly.

Hadn't been through this airport for several years and now it's all grown up. The parking garage is centered so all of the terminals are easy to get to. Security was a breeze. Plenty of food ops to pick from and priced right.

terminal is congested, staff not that friendly to help others find where to go, but airport is great with a lot of destinations

Home base. Gateway to paradise. Small by other airport standards. We do not have a lot of land.

I love this airport, except for the pickup area is crazy!!

As of Nov 2016, undergoing massive upgrades. Heavy construction. That said... you can hardly tell its going on as there is minimal impact to travelers. Terminal 3 has a Pei Wei!
