Got through security very quickly and the staff were very professional.

Less than enjoyable airport. Numerous gate changes disorganized...not a lot of food selections.

If you like playing musical chairs, this is the right airport for you. This marks the 3rd consecutive visit where we ve had multiple delays and gate changes. Crowded and dated airport in need of serious renovations.

I've never seen a more inefficient, disorganized, sorry excuse for an airport. Good luck if you get stranded because food is outrageously overpriced. Don't fly through here if you can help it.

The new centralized security checkpoint is a mess. Total confusion and not laid out well.

Worst airport ever if you're flying in from outside the US. 2 1/2 hour lines to get through customs. And I'm a US citizen!! Imagine if you have a visa! Do yourself a favor and fly into Miami!!!

Airport Bad, Small and Messy !! Chaotic immigration, with large lines and slow and rude staff. Highly delayed boarding procedures at the risk of losing the flight. You are reading this comment, if this airport (FFL), be very cautious because it is very disorganized and if it is for the blue cia, more caution still !! they usually meet passengers for flight departure orders, so it's no use coming in too long because they leave you waiting in line and the late passengers pass in front of you, not following the order of arrival. They benefit the late and hurt those who arrive on time. Typical of uncompromising Brazilian company that disrespects the consumer.

Horrible horrible horrible. Absolutely the smallest terminal I've ever seen (terminal 1 southwest gate B9), not enough seats, no room to even stand, airport is run down, horrible service at the bars restaurants and news stands, don't think there's even working AC, was forced to sit in a corner where empty crates of food are stored because I couldn't find a place to sit/stand where I could breathe comfortably. Will fly out of Palm Beach next time!!!!!

Limited food options. Terminal 2 is the worst. And the pizza place is horrible.

Catching bus is confusing. Otherwise great experience at airport, clean. Stores were shut down due to Covid

flew into FLL once for an interview. glad to have smaller airport outside of miami dade. It is clean, not very large and they are doing some upgrades. They have lots of natural light and eateries

Good service and very expansive compound however it could use some updating.

Arrived early...flight delayed. Was told we would recieve food vouchers for the wait. The airport waited until 10:55pm to issue the vouchers. They were only $7 each. Everything at this airport is way more expensive than $7. Even a simple salad was $15. Seriously? On top of that...EVERY single place to eat was closed by 10pm. The coffee shop was open...however, it had flues all over the uncovered food that they had to offer. I will do my absolute best to stay out of this airport.

Boarding was fairly quick, I just wish they would board from back to front to speed things up

I found this airport to be very one sided I felt like I just walked into the CNN news room!!! Spreading there propaganda to all Unsuspected travalers!! Not cool... I'll find other airports to use next time!!!

Flew in to this airport and rented a car to drive to the keys. Was easy to get around inside the air port. Picking up and dropping off the rental car was super easy super fast. Never had to go outside to get the car!

The Delta terminal has a Star Buck's. You have a choice of many restaurants.. No food items are reasonable and some are pricey.The restrooms are staffed and clean..Buses takes customers to the rental car center or to the Tri- rail. Its Free to used. It's a safe airport and well protection

Beware if you are connecting here and have to connect from a different terminal than the one you arrive in, the shuttle bus between terminals does not have a schedule and does not arrive regularly. You are better to walk in the humid heat in order to catch your flight on time. This is not communicated upon arrival.

United States airports in general are very organized. The Miami, Fort Lauderdale, in Hollyhood has the redoubled privilege because it is in Florida, a well-kept state. But the greatness of its three terminals give the clear impression of what the planning of a world-wide road system should be like.

Advertises mobile passport app everywhere! Skip the line it says! Reality is there is no designated mobile passport line! You wait on line with everyone else.

Clean and easy to get through, only wished there were more restaurants.

So - had a 3 hour layover on a trip from Costa Rica to Myrtle Beach. Should be plenty of time to clear Customs. Right? Wrong! Stood in long lines for hours, 1st to scan our passports at a kiosk and answer the usual questions about bringing food, plants, etc. into the country ( the same questions that were on the form we had filled out in the plane). Then we stood in another long line to actually see a Customs agent, who scanned our passport (again) and asked the same questions (again) that were on the form and entered at the kiosk - of course the answers were the same. nothing had changed in the 2 1/2 hours we had been standing in line. Then we had to get our bags, recheck them and go through TSA checks again. We could hear our names being paged at the gate and had very little cooperation getting through. Luckily, 2 of our traveling companions were able to get to the gate in time to beg for 1 more minute. So after running through the airport with no shoes on, we barely made it on - 3 hours later. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. Been through a lot of airports around the world, FLL should be totally embarrassed and ashamed.

A decent airport but a tad bit crowded. Relied on Uber to take me from here to my hotel but I heard the bus services are nice too.

I fly in and out of this airport every week. They have the worst baggage claim service I ve experienced in the world (and I travel everywhere). I thought Miami was bad, but FLL airport is the worst. Expect to wait a long time.

I was heading out to Las Vegas, we checked in at the kiosk. Went to the terminal the flight was on time , arriving 20 minutes early in Vagas.

Plane landed so that's a plus. Otherwise have been in line at customs for easily an hour. Highlight was watching bipolar woman get arrested. Snacks would help. Have connecting flight to Charleston, could've probably walked there by now

I fly out of here using Jet blue, to Costa Rica. I actually prefer it over MIA, just a shame it's about 40 minutes from where I live.

Here we are at Fort Lauderdale airport. They only let you check your bags so far ahead before your flight leaves so you are forced to wait in the costumer service area. No seating, no eateries, no even a spit toget drink or snack.

Great hub for regional and nation travel. Easier than MIA

Staff is terrible, they're rude everywhere, no good Afternoon or Good Morning, they don't reply to your questions, they're simply rude people.

Starting in the TSA and ending in every restaurant or coffee shop. Here nobody knows how to be polite.

Just be ready to be treated as garbage if you travel from here.

WiFi speed is absolutely pitiful. Don t plan on doing any work if you need internet access while you wait for your flight because it is useless.

Terminal 2 (Air Canada, Delta) is pretty old and dreary. The decor is plain and outdated, all gates share the same waiting area and there aren't enough seats if many departures occur around the same time, and food offerings are bland and unappetizing. This is not a place you want to spend any more time than necessary at. The way the drop-off areas for the different terminals are configured means you often have to wait in a huge traffic jam to get to the door. The check-in and security areas run smoothly and efficiently, and the staff are generally helpful.

Yo baggage claim takes over an hour to get you your luggage. What's up with that?

They have a manager by the name of Shannon (of course I can never forget her name since I m Shannon too lol) who goes the extra mile for her guests. I have NEVER witnessed a more caring person (at the airport) than her. Southwest has, by far, the friendlier staff but Shannon is a true asset. She made sure those in wheelchairs were taken care of along with families with small children. She even assisted us on our LONG wait. What a pleasure she was. My only regret is that I hadn t thought to tip her because on our entire week long trip we had tipped everyone and she was the best attendant out of all of the people we encountered. So to whomever is Shannon s boss she deserves a raise as she is exactly the reason we will keep flying Southwest.

Smooth process with pre check in and self bag check.

Dull average airport with two concessions plus a Starbucks that is accessible to public. Everything else is after security. Check your airlines for when their check in counter opens.

Fast, good cafes, good Internet and very comfortable waiting chairs. All excellent!

A welcoming and hygienic environment, meeting all the quality standards of world airports, good personalized service and visible and easily understood signs

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a modern, we'll run facility. This is a large airport, so there's plenty of walking. There are elevators and escalators.

Lot of food choices are available, and that includes vegan and gluten free. The Gates can be far apart, so you may want to use the cart service. Check with the airline's ticket agent, and a cart will be waiting when you deplane. The bathrooms are plentiful and clean. There are lots of stores to purchase notions and trinkets. Luggage is well-handled.

Passenger pickup is well-controlled. There is a "telephone lot" so your ride can wait close by. Uber, Lyft and taxi services are available. Many hotels and Cruise lines offer free pick up. Everything is wheelchair accessible.

We arrived after transport from a cruise and were planning on eating lunch at the airport terminal. Much to our surprise we were not allowed to check our bags until two hours before our flight departure. We arrived at 930 and flight is not until 330. What the hell is a person supposed to do for that time frame in between. Sit on the floor is the answer. Plus we will still have to get through security and who will have time to eat then. I bet their restaurants love the money they are costing them. You can purchase snacks and cold week old sandwiches from their small convenience store if your in need.

This airport is very convenient for traveling to cruise ships, aside from that, it isn't my favorite. Because of the aforementioned convenience, the airport becomes very overwhelmed with customers. With nowhere to go after their ship makes port, they have only to get transportation to the airport and await the flights home. This is fine, but the airport is definitely affected by this influx of tourists. It's a great airport, just gets very crowded.

I have traveled from this airport many times and it's much easier than Miami if your traveling internationally you pass immigration much quicker and so is the baggage claim. The airport is also a bit smaller and is easier to be in its not has big or fancy as Miami but it's easier and quicker. The only thing is that it didn't have as much destination or airlines as Miami but still is great.

My first time returning international at this airport. It s a nightmare clearing customs. No markings for Global Entry, Mobile Passport etc. Think Walmart parking lot on Black Friday and you are there. My customs agent had the personality of Dwight from The Office. It was clean and the balance of the experience post customs was positive but geeezzzz can they at least mark lanes rather than have us form a massive line and sort people out right before you are at the customs desk? Given any choice at all, I ll avoid this at all costs.

place is okay look-wise but food service is awful. employees very obviously do not want to be there and have lots of attitude- not to mention they take their sweet time making food, which makes every customer wait for 20 minutes. not only that, but the food selection is general is very slim. not very many food places at all.

This is the WORST Airport where I'm been.Staff was very unfriended.Price for food too high.Restrooms very dirty.Smels terrible.I traveled from Punta Cana to Richmond.My coneconnec flights was at this airport.When we arive,we wait 1 hour for emigration check.They tell us to go out from airport and after that check in again.Staff VERY unfriended.Just terrible.I don't wanna come back never again on this airport...

They do not give the opportunity to take the items they take out of the carry on or backpack to the checked bag, I had two expensive honey that I bought in the US for Colombia and they did not allow me, they simply throw it in a bin where I suppose they try to throw away the largest possible quantity of passenger items to be distributed among the airport staff. They should check those handbags when the checked suitcase has not yet passed into the hold of the plane. There were many people to just open the airport, the Covid circulating like crazy.

Nice airport, clean and well designed easy to get in and out. 15 dollar a day parking, and make sure you get your mobile passport app if you are coming here internationally makes going thru customs a little easier.
