Just wow. Rooms are immaculate and very modern, the views are brilliant. Staff are the most attentive and friendly I've experienced in a long time! The breakfast here is scrumptious , huge range of options and always fresh. I'll be visiting again, and this will be my go to hotel of choice.

Its very beautiful, nice view of the beach. I will defiantly be back and would recommend Shutters on the beach to friends.

Didn't allow my friends to come into my room because they weren't registered...

Make sure your appearance is high class and Caucasian to walk into the restaurant. I'm white but clearly was too casual and 'different' to be served. I wasn't greeted with a smile or acknowledged., but saw others walk in after me get treated as such. Last time I checked money is money and don't see why anyone should be treated differently based off how casual they are dressed. I asked for a seat outside for 1, I was told there weren't any. I wasn't even offered a seat to sit inside so I left. The woman on the phone I put a formal complaint with had the same attitude as the guy at the restaurant. Extremely disappointed that I couldn't enjoy a nice lunch on the beach after I worked out. All I was wearing was a hat tank top and shorts. Guess I had too many wrinkles.

Coast is a casual place in an awesome location with very good food and spirits.

I had a perfect unhurried lunch here. There was a good selection of food, my Cobb salad was delicious. Enough craft beers to choose from and my companions enjoyed their wine. The pace of service was perfect, attentive and polite. All in all an excellent lunch.

Shutters On The Beach was a delight! The service was great and the hotel is beautiful. The food and drinks at all of the restaurants although pricey (what do you expect from a 5-star hotel) were fantastic and the views are just to die for! The rooms are so beautiful and the Malin & Goetz toiletries were a treat. The beach-chic decor was on point and overall you feel like you are living in luxe at Shutters.

Everything was very elegant although the service was in. Slowly. We went for brunch and the food was excellent.

Only visited the conference room. It was very nice with complementary coffee, juice, pasties and fruit. It was very nice and tasty. Event setting was typical fashion and the speakers were easily understood through the sound system. Parking was great, especially within walking distance. There were plenty of metered parking within minutes and it was economical $2 per hour. Best part is that it's right on the beach so the views are awesome. Look forward to saying possibly my next visit.

I was only at the restaurant but the staff was exceptional and the view was divine.

I had a breakfast meeting this morning and it was great. The mozzarella and mushroom omlette, and some sourdough toast and it was all great.

this is a very beautiful place. my brother got married on the beach here. it was amazing. the service was great and the food was the best

Business meeting in the lobby of this hotel. What a nice environment, friendly staff, great features in the lobby like hot chocolate and music in the early evening.

Great place for sunset cocktails. Pico 1 is good option for dinner too.

Well this was a little disappointing he Hotel was beautiful the restaurant was beautifully decorated but that is a guy kid the service was a little crazy the food came along and what was supposed to be a simple bowl of oatmeal was literally enough for 4 people and extremely expensive not really much of a view of the ocean because it's it's below the boardwalk you have pretty much of you of everybody's ankles

The lobby bar with a view of the sunset is a perfect way to end a day.

I have never been here and probably never will. But a very annoying man in the TSA Pre Check line said Shutters was great for breakfast and lunch... but NOT dinner.

Still here. Nice room on the beach. Having a great time right now traveled over to Marina del Rey to take a brunch cruise.

Stayed here during a film convention across the street and my room was downgraded because I checked-in late.

Lovely decor in the lobby, bar, and through out. Service was excellent, friendly, and professional. I have been here before now, and i will return again. My better half loves their pina colada!

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a stunning location right on the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I've only had breakfast at the Coast restaurant but it was very good. One issue I had, is that you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways outside of the room. Doors opening and closing, people talking. There's a storage room outside of our room and the staff seem to be constantly in and out of it. Another issue, was with the plug sockets. Every time i put a plug in or pulled one out there would be a blue sparks which didn't seem particularly safe. Other than that a really I've had a really pleasant stay.

We used Shutters valet beach parking - could park for $2/hr and was very close and convenient!
