This 5 Star hotel on the beach in Santa Monika provides an astonishing experience. From reception on, the service exceeds expectations. The accompanying restaurants and chefs menu keep us on property.

The place it self great, as soon as you get in that front door you know you have stepped into one of the best hotels in town, waterfront view ample space inside the lobby it's clean and smells great valet parking is also available and suits are freshly painted, love the big French doors style and it is very affordable it is the place to impress to accommodate clients...great food and wine, won't have any problem staying there again.

Do what you can to not get the 01 rooms. They are right next to the elevators and are loud as hell

I love finding urban wineries close to home! This place has an amazing view of the Bay and really good non-pretentious wines. The first time I came here was with my co-workers for our off-site team trip. The wines were so good that I really had to restrain myself from trying to join another wine club. The staff is so friendly and down-to-earth.

Great venue, very elegant & stylish. Right on the beach but the pier. I would come back here for a date or another event.

Beautiful living room setting, music and superior view!

We went to the lounge after dinner at The Lobster for our third anniversary. It was Wednesday so they had a live band playing Flamenco. It was a perfect way to end the night.

This is lodging at it's finest. Right on the beach and great location for Santa Monica and Venice

The Casa del Mar is great! The rooms are comfortable and clean, as are the shared bathrooms. The showers are actually great, especially for someone tall like me. The best thing though is the staff. On checking out we left a laptop behind in our room and didn't realize until we were at the airport. After calling in a panic they made sure to personally pack and ship the laptop back to us, calling to make sure that we had the tracking number and that everything went well.Can't recommend them enough!

My visit to Casa Del Mar was great. This hotel has an amazingly decorated entrance. The rooms beautifully designed, I did not want to leave my room. Overall my experience at Casa Del Mar was the getaway that I needed

Came here for my birthday. The restaurant and lounge are beautiful, and the food is delicious. If you can, come for a drink at sunset.... the view is incredible. The food is pricey, but absolutely worth it, if you can splurge. The live music in the lounge makes the experience all that much better.

Beautiful hotel. One of the few in Santa Monica right on the beach. Great for a date night, or girls night out. Great selection of wine.

I love a memorable hotel stay . This hotel is nice but overpriced, you are paying Dorchester Collection prices for a mid rate beachfront hotel . I would suggest staying at Belair and drive to beach or go further up the coast . Its cleaner less populated . Better yet drive to Santa Barbara and stay on the beach at Biltmore same prices a world of difference .

Fabulous decor with an amazing beach front view. The cuisine was second to none, staff first class royalty treatment trained professionals. By far the most luxurious hotel I have ever had the pleasure of spending a long weekend in and it has just begun. Impressive doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of attempting to describe this amazing establishment. To top it off? TALK ABOUT A BANG FOR YOUR BUCK?????? Blown away completely over the pricing!!. If I had paid four times the price I would still consider it a dramatic discount...... All I have to say is BRAVO Hotel Casa del Mar...... BBRAVO!!!!!!

I have been in Santa Monica for 68 years. I have seen the changes over the years. It's always been a first class Hotel and hopefully it will always be a first class Hotel. Never a disappointment.

we came here for a holiday work party. the even was held downstairs with a grand ball room to fit everyone in with tables and display on the sides. the decor was fabulous, definitely on the Christmas theme. the restrooms were easy to locate along with being very clean and big.

Great hotel, never stayed, but the lobby is a great place to get work done and the restaurant has nice views of the beach, especially during happy hour.

Good drinks, amazing atmosphere. But be prepared to wait for a cocktail server and to be forgotten.

Amazing hotel all round. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Rooms are absolutely beautiful with amazing interiors. Could not fault our stay.

Love to hang out at this hotel. I have been going there for their Wednesday spanish tapas which is very authentic. We had questions about one of the dishes and the chef (who is Spanish) came out to explain!

I ate lunch at the restaurant here and it was excellent. The food was delicious (I had the lobster club) and the wait staff were phenomenal. The price was a little high but you also have an amazing view of the beach amd the pier. I definitely would recommend the restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel or nearby as a semi-casual place for a nice meal.

Amazing location, views... we truly enjoyed every moment we spent there. The hotel staff is one of the best we have experienced! Already planning to go back soon!

Unparalleled views and location. So glad we stayed on this side of Ocean. Walkability to beach was of utmost importance and we got it here. Staff was notably polite and friendly.

We were at this hotel for a wedding and stayed 3 nights. The hotel is right on the beach and provides excellent views from the restaurant and many rooms. For us, the location could NOT have been better - just walk out and voila! Staff was the best - greeted us by name, helpful in suggesting restaurants, getting newspapers, etc. Valet service brought car up within minutes.

Stopped by to check out the bar and restaurant. Everyone here was very welcoming and friendly. Had a great night.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Dining room overlooks the boardwalk. Selected menu items were average, dessert was delicious. Nicely decorated interior. Would visit again.

Went for drinks and dinner. Nice quiet setting overlooking the beach. Drinks and food were perfect.

An amazingly elegant evening started with dinner at catch and some jazz with a nigh Cap in the lobby. Would recommend anyone looking for a classy date with a person that makes them feel special.

Since I live nearby, I only visit this hotel, because it has THE most BEAUTIFUL lounge area I've ever seen in LA. Comfortable sofas, an elegant decor, a super wonderful band (The Left Over Cuties-with stand up bass play a modern take on 30's and 40's style music.) The windows are floor to ceiling and over look one of the most beautiful beaches in southern California. It is on the expensive side, but the interior design makes it worth it...I came for New Years after lunch on the Santa Monica Pier (great Mexican food). For dessert and tea we came to Casa del Mar for it's fantastic view. Tonight I am going to HAPPY HOUR with friends (4-6 p.m.) I recommend this lovely hotel to all my guests...just bring $$$. P.S. Myfriend tells me the drinks are STRONG! (perhaps too strong) just FYI.

Wonderful hotel in Santa Monica overlooking the ocean. The sea view suites are spectacular, but everything is super top. Style and furnishings from the 20s and 30s seems to be on the set of a film. Services, hospitality, restaurants, spa .... all truly top-notch. Super recommended

Went there for dinner which was good. The valet was outrageously priced and they took forever to bring my car back as someone had misplaced my keys.

We had our Anniversary Dinner tonight and the Short Ribs and Scallops were terrific. Brent our Waiter was exceptional. Thank You for our Anniversary Dessert. We Were So Blessed
