Nice views on the 7th floor overlooking river. Fluffy towels, pillows were atrocious, water pressure was awesome. Didn't eat there, too expensive. Housekeeping staff were nice and attentive.

There was a function for kids going on and some of the parents were letting them run all over, up and down the halls. Very annoying. Doors slam hard, television kept cutting in and out on the voice.

Would stay again if no large function was happening. Oh, parking has to be valided by hotel for $18.00 per night.

The accommodations are nice, and it's a downtown location, but there is not much to do or to eat nearby. On a related note, a microwave is only available for behind the desk, so the clerk has to handle aby food you do bring

Excellent service, quick to respond to the needs of their guests. I love the rooms, they are clean and spacious. Perfect for accommodating family members are friends. I also love the location of the hotel, there's quite a few things to do within walking distance. Bars, Restaurants, CVS pharmacy and a little mini mart that's very close by. Overall I had a great experience a the Sheraton Springfield.

The rooms need a touch to make the guest feel at home. The toilet paper of poor quality, those old, ugly shower curtains and with those hooks that are locked, there is no suitable carpet to leave the bathroom.
The curtains should be adjusted when closed so that no light enters. Change coffee makers, with this small space, invent something to have on hand a coffee preparation in the shortest possible time.
I didn't like being there, the halls and rooms the smell unpleasant. Very busy staff to have time to guide. Very expensive rate for the quality of its service.

Nice rooms, great service, except for an unhappy club lounge attendant who made everyone feel they were not welcomed. Restaurant could use some more innovative foods that could really make it do better. What they do offer is quite good, but standard fare. Lounge food was okay, but uninterested staff, failed to do the extras like dressing for the veggies, condiments, or refilling the hot trays in a reasonable time.

Went to Sheraton springfield for a professional event. The room and services where excellent! Not only was the hotel clean on the inside and out, but it is also just a block away from the new springfield casino.

This should be a very nice hotel. Despite it's outward appearance the shower was dirty and full of hair. There was makeup (not mine) on one of my pillows. The blackout curtains keep out about as much sun as the light filtering ones. My toilet barely flushed and my temperature was stuck at a pre programmed number. The outlet next to my bed didn't work, which I didn't realize until the morning. Thank god I didn't have to be up early, because my phone that I had plugged into it died. If I had not arrived exhausted at midnight I would have requested a cleaner room. I called the front desk and spoke to them very politely about my other issues in the morning and they said they would send someone up, which they never did. I stay in hotels for my job, and this is the worst experience I've had in a while. All I expect is a clean place to sleep with basic necessities, and this hotel, like the others I stay in, is not cheap. I am so disappointed. Would not reccommend.

I attended a conference at this facility, notified them of my gluten and sea food allergy and had to constantly remind them I needed gluten free food.... Paid big bucks for complete meals and only could eat entrees..... What a rip off! No appetizers, desserts, or breakfasts, no rebates of money paid BUT they offered me fruit as a choice of every meal! How much fruit can one person eat for three days?

Rooms were good. Has a kitchenette which is a plus. There were a few oddities. Refridgerator door doesn't like to close. Wallpaper was starting to peel. TV remote was missing. But overall a good room for the price.

The hotel was pleasant. I was there for a conference and I didn't stay in a room. The food service staff was really great! The parking was horrendous and they sent me to another lot which was extremely bad due to the ticket machine eating my $20 and not giving me change or a receipt... The Sheraton didn't do anything about it either...

We stopped in for lunch at the MVP bar and grill, and it was a very nice meal. The place was completely empty at lunch time, which made me a little nervous. It was also extremely dark in the restaurant, which didn't bother me but my co worker was a little put off. My only complaint was the speed - it was a little slow for there being basically no one there. The wait staff was extremely friendly, and the pricing was fair for bring in a hotel.

Staff was great and helpful. The room was adequate. Overall, the hotel feels old, like the it needs a facelift. While we were there, our part of the city had a water main break and staff went all over the hotel to inform us about water usage. They provided bottled water for each room and they set up a small cooler in the lobby filled with water. They couldn't have been better in this difficult situation. The gym there is fine, there were enough treadmills and a nice variety of cybex machines. There are several restaurants within an easy walk from the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for business. The location is right in the heart of Springfield. The hotel staff is very hospitable and friendly. The rooms wets clean, but might need some updating. I wish there were microwaves and mini-fridges in the rooms (I bring my food on my trips and for take-out). But all in all, a very good stay.

Location was good, staff was very nice and friendly. MVP bar was awesome! Loved the gym (had olympic free weights) pool/sauna only complaint was the parking had to park a block away in their other lot and supposedly the dont own it so we were charged an additional 18 bucks for it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed there during my time at MEPS while joining the Navy and they made us all feel very welcome and the building itself is very neat and looks extremely nice.

Nice older hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Not at all a fan of using flat sheets on bottom of mattresses. Constantly loose and bunched up underneath leaving marks on my legs and bottom.

I booked two rooms, one for me and the other for a co-worker for a show that we did in Springfield last weekend. We traveled all day, set up the show and after a 16 hour day we just wanted to get to this hotel and crash. We arrived to a woman who told us that there was a maintenance issue with our rooms and they would need to cancel our reservation and see about getting us in another hotel. (some how this is code for overbooked) The lady put us up at a hotel about a mile away which took another hour to get fully checked in, and the other hotel wasn't the nicest hotel around either. Just a really poor experience that I would really just as soon forget. Too bad I am a rewards member because this really made me feel like never booking at a Sheridan ever again. She promised me points for up to one nights stay which I don't see in my account and offered to pay for one nights lodging which we didn't see either.

Absolute worst hotel I ve ever stayed at. One star is being generous, it should be zero. When I got here, I was told parking was included with my $300 room. They said there was a $18 charge for the parking of those staying in the room. (Me, my Grandfather and my mother). So he paid and we were supposed to get free parking for the other two vehicles. Then we had to pay $18 for each vehicle! Are you kidding me? $300 for a small room (room service not inucluded in that price) and you have to pay for parking! You can t even have a bottle of water without them charging your credit card. $3.00 for one bottle of water! I can pay $2.50 for a 24 pack back at home! On top of that, the TV was broke! This is how bad it is, if you die in the room, they still charge you. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Don t come here.

Comfortable and clean. The biggest downside to this hotel is the noise. The train was annoying but not nearly as bad as the noise from the meeting rooms. The design of the hotel means all the noise from the lower levels goes straight up. Don't plan on sleeping in here.
