Rooms were nice with a good layout. Only one zone for AC was tricky but we made it work. In room WiFi was weak - the router in one bedroom just didn t cover the whole area. Pool that we used was nice and seemed well maintained.

My lovely Wife and I are 'Owners' of this enjoyable vacation deal. Smack right next to Disneyland, this sun filled hotel themed area is a wonderful place that the whole family will really dig, due to the lavish surroundings throughout the expansive grounds.

Too many large pools to number, the walking around from spot to spot gets you a real good view on how much work the Sheraton Vistana Resort powers-that-are have generously offered to create such a tremendous getaway for the many that have decided to make this their home away from home for the week or possibly a little longer.

There are on-grounds spots such a cool outdoor bar, a indoor restaurant, a game area with various video games. There is also a "Convenience" store that's for your small grocery shopping as well as clothing. "Freight" (prices) are rather high, but what would you expect being in that type of place anyways??!

All in all, some nice digs. Like I mentioned, really close to your Kids vision of Heaven, that of course being Disneyland and the such! Buses are right outside the grounds ready made to take you just about any place you may desire to visit. After all, Florida and especially this establishment fully rely & depend on their 'Bread-n-Butter', that being the unlimited amounts of tourists and they cornbread ( money).

You'll like this place, the kids especial like. Watch your pocketbook, cause your bacon strips ( money) seem to disappear rather quick like. Yet, it's a nice time for all, so sorry about that credit card bill, as the great Bluesman Robert Cray would say, "On The Road Down"! Thanks and enjoy, may God Bless You and your travels

Good hotel. It has a kitchen, what saves you when you are with children and there is a lot of time in the USA, because they get sick of potato chips, hamburger, pizza and one hour they want a rice and beans, so you can prepare. But the housekeeping is average at this hotel, rest ok.

The place is a royal pain! You pay a lot of money to stay there and they won't even allow you to get food deliveries! You have to go outside the property to the Welcome Center to get your food!

Good place. Some mattresses need to be softer. Very spacious, good amenities. Great pools. Kid friendly. Some of the staff ( not all) needs better customer service skills. Housekeeping needs to clean better. Overall would come back again.

Wants and needs. they wanted the money in my pocket and I needed a two bedroom for my son so I didn't

Stay and enjoy this resort, if you dont care about courteousness of the front office staff which is all time rude.. dont do any other business like attending a seminar or trying membership for their resort club...
In that aspect I would like to call them cheaters!! They will take your one whole day in those seminars and will try to force you to buy membership and the attitude they have is really bad.. They will advertise for discount in disney tickets andl charge 20$ (refundable deposit) If you dont buy membership then discount on disney tickets will be removed and 20$ will never get refunded.. SO CHEAP... Even the manager or supervisor pay no heed if you dont buy membership... .

My only complaint is the weak and slow WiFi. The rooms are perfect, the grounds are clean and beautiful. It's so easy to get to all the Disney Parks in a matter a minutes. This is the only place I will stay when in the area!

The room is small for its price, but to be fair if you arw going there you will be going to the themeparks im the area anyway, so you will only be there when you sleep. The pool is great, and the little resturant near the main pool is really good. The one gripe I have is they have a private taxi service, that is more expensive than just a normal yellow cab/checkered cab and really tries to phsh you for a round trip, which cost about 70$ if you goto magic kingdom in disney world, or about 35$ one way. Getting a taxi directly from disney world only costs about 15 dollars to get you back to the hotel. Overall it is a pretty good istablisment.

I love that there are two bedrooms and a full kitchen and the resort has a lot to do and see. We even got to check in early. But I wasn't impressed with my stay and probably would avoid staying here in the future. The room we got was dusty on arrival, our dishwasher was leaking for the entire stay, drawers were broken, batteries missing from the remote, and only one working hairdryer out of the two. Also, they provide soap, lotion, shampoo, and dishwasher detergent. But if you want to use the provided in room washer and dryer, you have to buy your own laundry detergent. All of these little things, but they add up to a lot of annoyance.

It was surprising that they weren't able to work with my dad regarding check in. Their flight was very late due to inclement weather and they were unwavering in not letting me be able to check in without him. It was absolutely ridiculous. The rooms are nice enough and it's what we would usually expect. Just disappointing with the check in staff

A very family friendly and quiet place. They have a number of pools and outdoor activities. They have a daily schedule of events, so be sure to check out what is on. There is a craft center as well. It's also nice to take a stroll and check out some of the local wildlife. We saw somenotters playing in a pond!

Great stay. The two room villa is huge and there are like seven pools and mini golf. It rained 65% of the time, but the times it wasn't the kids enjoyed themselves. Would stay there again.

Excellent vacation! Great resort. A special thank you to Jose for his kindness. If you really want a vacation place with a friendly and personable atmosphere, this is the place for fun, sun, and relaxation. Very family oriented.

We were there Oct. 15-22. Our condo was very nice, clean and staff was nice. The only semi negative thing I can say is the doors are not child proof. Our 2 yr old could unlock and open every door. We thought the door outside on our patio was a locked storage closet like most rentals have to store cleaning supplies. Our 2 yr old was out on the patio blowing bubbles and we thought he was safe with a fence on the patio . When we looked out to check on him, he was gone to our surprise! We hollered for him and could hear him laughing but after frantically searching the condo down we took a Gamble and tried to open the door outside the patio. It opened and led to the back side pond. Thank God we found him before he made it any further. I think there should be a better lock on the door. Even with the bolt lock on all one has to do is pull down on the handle and it automatically unlocks everything. Just FYI if you have small children staying with you.

Overall positive impression. We belong to the Marriott Vacation club so the experience is similar. All the positives of a vacation club (relative to hotels) hold: much larger residences, ability to buy groceries and use a full fledged kitchen to take care of at least some of your meals, family activities, etc. One uniquely positive attribute about this resort was that the free internet was quite good (I measured 15 mbps, which is more than I'm used to for such establishments). For a week long stay it is much more comfortable than hotel, especially for a whole family.

However there are drawbacks. Some of them are common to most vacation club resorts. Among the major ones - Usually the resorts are not as conveniently located as hotels and the restaurants on premise are normally the fast food variety and not where you can have a good meal. I'm going to mention a few drawbacks that are unique to this resort. However, I should clarify that these are relatively minor in an overall positive view, as seen by my overall rating. Also in some of the cases, it's just a function of the nature of this resort and not a shortfall on the part of management.
o It's big, probably a bit too big. From certain units it could be a 15 minute walk to the reception area. This is partly due to the reception area being at one end rather than more centrally located. However you can call for a cart to be driven to other parts of the resort.
o It doesn't have any natural beauty. It's not in the middle of mountains, on a beach, or even on a golf course. Just a few ponds / mini lakes. Then again, probably about all one can expect in Orlando.
o No elevators, even if you are in a third floor unit. Would mostly matter when you move in or out or if you have limited mobility.
o In our master bedroom, there were very few outlets. In today's world with all the gadgets that need charging, this is something that ought to be addressed.
o We attended the 90 minute sales pitch to learn about the Sheraton Vacation club. Compared to the Marriott Vacation club meetings we've been to over the years, this was much less refined.

But again these are relatively minor drawbacks. We wanted a nice, comfortable respite from the New York cold and we have definitely got that.

We stayed here for a week in a one bedroom villa. This is a really nice place. A number of heated pools and spas scattered around the entire property. The only downside is the onsite restaurants and the traffic outside the resort. The Taki Tiki bar has really bad and expensive food. The traffic on Buena Vista Drive on a holiday weekend can be backed up for miles.

I have a friend who stayed there for few days when visiting Orlando.
I was impressed with the security and how clean was the place.

The only problem reported by my friend was related to the fact that he was invited by the check-in clerk to attend a timeshare sales pitch. I found the invitation unprofessional.

Large and spacious suites. Lots of amenities to enjoy. My complaint is with the cleanliness. Microwave needs to be cleaned well or replace. Jacuzzi was disgusting. I actually bought bleach and disinfectant to clean it but the stains wouldn t come off. The bed made me and my girlfriend itch all night. Pillows looked hideous as they can be seen sticking out of pillowcases.

Would not recommend.

I love the Sheraton. Whenever I go to Orlando this is where I like to stay. I've only eaten there once and the food was fine. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I've stayed in the single with a double bed and the double rooms and both were excellent.
The land is well kept and the pools are lovely. The only reason I have given this review 4 stars is due to the attitude of the sales staff on site.
On arrival I was offered a time share presentation which as I frequently visit this chain of hotels I was interested in. I went along and was treated poorly by both the initial sales rep and the so called 'after sales' rep. Enjoy the hotel but please do not go along to their time share presentations, they are poorly presented don't stick to their timelines and clearly are not able to tailor their presentation to the customers needs.

Pros

Pros
-Easy check in and check out
-Pools open late
-Accomodating at front desk
-Clean rooms well stocked with necessities
-Showers available at poolside with towels and shampoo/conditioner

Cons
-No ceiling fans in bedrooms
-Restaurants within resort grossly overpriced with mediocre service
-Timeshare presentation advertises 90 minutes but in reality lasts 2.5 hours
-Dishwasher did not work
-Lizard and wasp found inside room during 7 day stay.

Overall experience was okay due to price being right. However, I will likely not return.

Pretty grounds, LAKES pool nicely done, rooms dated but they have everything you would need EXCEPT WIFI
Wifi is NON EXISTENT not sure why a person would get a timeshare here especially if they plan on working from "home" or even surfing internet
