Sheraton Vistana Resort Reviews

Room was extremely dirty, mattress was extremely lumpy & feels like it has a broken spring. Shower control broken, bath tub drain stopped up, no towel holders for wet towels, (We just thru them on the floor), dried egg on dishes and counter tops

Always a good experience. Great outdoor pools for the kids. The suites are very clean and up to date and work well for a couple of families. The food poolside is not very good, but it is at least convenient.

Close to all the outlets stores. Near Disney and Universal Studio. Pleasant living environment despite short time of rain during the winter .. I recommend this hotel for families, because several pools for children. Many sports halls, tennis courts, games rooms .. Only flats, the supermarket is rather expensive and the place is crowded with the seasons. Good appreciation at the level of the reception and the service. The hotel is huge on several hectars filled with lake, and mini golf. I highly recommend it, the prices are worth it.

Stayed as an overnight guest on NYE 2017. Thought it was cool that there was a convenience store on property by the pool.

Had 2 bed villa. Excellent inside. Staff were so nice. Really close to loads of things to do and good food

Beautiful resort with lots to do. They have activities everyday for kids.

Location perfect, easy access to the i4. Large resort area with many good bars and restaurants.

My parents have been owners since I was a teenager which I hate to admit was 30 years ago. This resort has always been excellent. I have come down this week with my wife and son and our stay here has been fantastic. My son, who is 2, is have a wonderful time playing in the pool every day. We are very close to the Disney (about 10 mins) parks and only 15 minutes or so from SeaWorld and Universal Studios. Vistana has never disappointed when I have stayed here

Horrible experience checking in. Pushing right at check in to set up a sales pitch meeting. Ruined the start to my vacation. They have no concern for the visitors, only about getting even more money from us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sheraton Vistana! Here's a list of pros and cons:

Pros:
- Huge 1BR Villa, tons of space for 2AD, 2CH
- Amenities galore. Several pools, tiki bar and restaurant was awesome, small arcade, putt putt, basketball courts, shuffle board/curling (I can't remember exactly what it's called), escape room (game), a convenience store on site that sells food, alcohol, and other personal items. Pool towels provided at the pools. This place is its own little community! Very impressive
- Plenty of parking available. Sometimes we had to park in front of the building next to ours, but that's not a big deal it was a close walk.
- Gated community with security personnel on site
- Within 15 minutes to all Disney parks, maybe 18 to MK.
- Super close to Disney Springs
- 5 minutes to Walmart and other shopping
- Staff was friendly and made themselves available when needed, but we were left alone which I enjoyed. I never like someone always being around asking if I need anything.

Cons:
- This place is enormous and I could see that irritating some people. I feel like we got really lucky and had our great Villa location right next to a pool and the tiki bar. I would strongly recommend looking at their map online ahead of time and figure out where you want to be and then asking the staff if they can strategically place you there.

- The map they give you is kind of hard to read and there aren't many navigational signs throughout the community. There are some, but not many. If you get lost in a paper bag then you may find the complex layout confusing.

- The sofa bed is a sofa bed, uncomfortable as hell. I went out and bought a foam cover to put on top and it worked great.

That's really about it, we really loved our stay. It was quiet, since we were close to a pool we did notice some noise from the pool area, but that's expected. Room service doesn't come everyday but honestly who needs room service every single day? I would definitely recommend people to stay here and we will likely stay here again on our next trip to Disney World.

Older hotel but it has just been refreshed. It still smelled new. We only stayed one night. Have to ring the front office to get out of the gate. Security seemed good. Pools were beautiful and room was nice with a decent price. Location to Disney was great and easy. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

We stayed for thanksgiving vacation, the room service team stole my credit card, used for days, but the hotel is not responsive to resolve this issue. They have also dispatched cleaning crew much earlier than the checkout time on the day we departed, as well as shutting off water without pre-notifying us. Not to mention, our car also had a complete flat tire after the first night, and the security team refused to share camera footage. In general, a pretty terrible place.

We had been waiting a long time to get into this resort and it didn't disappoint. We had a wonderful time. The escape room was super fun with my wife and my tweenage daughters. The rooms are huge well decorated and very clean. The screened in porch was nice for morning coffee. The on-site stores and eateries were real nice and moderately priced.

The rooms are very very nice. The staff are mostly cordial and helpful. The resort layout is kinda weird it's easy to get lost or turned around at night.

Great amenities and friendly service. Not exactly the hotspot for the area, but easily within a quick Uber. Good value

Wonderful timeshare. Spacious units, lots of fun things to do on site. Mini golf, 7 pools, activities for kids and adults, restaurants. Close to Disney parks.

Beautiful grounds, great location, close to good restaurants and shopping and theme parks!

Awful stay. Bad information, locked out of our room 3 times. Hated my vacation. Shame on you all.

Was a great presentation but I felt that they were selling too hard

Lovely establishment. My family loved it here. They had 7 pools. I loved the washer and dryer in the room. Everyone went home with clean clothes. Will definitely stay here again.

We were offered a gift card to attend a 90 minute presentation at this resort. It was explained to us that it was a light breakfast and a presentation to tour the property in hopes that we would book them on our next Orlando vacation. Long story short, it took longer than 90 minutes. We repeatedly explained that we were misinformed about the presentation and that we had NO interest in a timeshare. We fulfilled our obligation, and we were under severe time restrictions. They continued to try to sell us a timeshare. After being there almost two and a half hours, we were becoming quite upset that we needed to leave, had been told by more than one person that they would sign us out, but then they didn't. Then it was suggested to us, that we call our current resort & ask for a late check out...(so they could continue to pressure us to buy a timeshare that we obviously didn't want.) Seriously!? Just based on this experience alone, we will never consider Sheriton for a hotel, resort, or timeshare in the future.

We stayed in an updated 2 bedroom and it was nice. The only problems that bothered me is the internet sucked and the walls are thin. Very noisy resort! Doors slam hard, staff loud talking early in the morning. So if you want any peace and quiet this is NOT the place to stay. And don t ask a random staff member a question because most of them don t understand English. Also wrong information given at check in and the check out time is way too early. Most places check out is 11 or 12 and some will even extend it for you. Anyways, I won t be staying at this one again.

My family of four has a villa in the Palms section of the Sheraton Vistana and we can say it was an enjoyable stay. The first 2 days we were in attendance, our keys would not cooperate with our door. Other than that, it was very nice.

Horrible accountability. Customer service lacks here especially when you book 9 months in advance.

I ve stayed here for the past couple of times I ve visited Orlando and it s theme parks and they have great rooms and good customer service, the resort is very nice with multiple pools and areas were you can relax and barbecue, they also have a kid play ground and a small market place to buy necessities. Overall I loved this restorer every time I came here, I would recommend it anyone!

The absolute worst experience I have had at a resort . From bugs in our beds to waiting an hour for a shuttle to check-out. Never coming back here, wouldn t recommend it for anyone.

The villas are amazing, nice and spacious, ideal for larger families and serviced daily. The apartments however are more suited to 3-4 person families and are only serviced once every few days.

The actual housing rivals Disney Vacation Club for size and finish. Where DVC edges them out is a 2 bedroom unit has 3 full baths at Bay Lake Tower. The count is two and two, here.

Still: great alternative for housing a family in comfort. In a condo. With a kitchen. As opposed to getting two connected rooms at any other hotel. And the price point is amazing by comparison.

There are places to eat, and buy groceries (of a sort) on the property. If you have stayed on property with the mouse, you ll see the difference. But when you check out, you ll see a delightful difference in the lower price.

Absolutely expect to stay here again.

Big spacious rooms with 3 large pools! All right down the street from Disney.

This is my 2nd time here, staying with a family member. I really like it, most important it's clean.

Excellent family and friends resort with high quality facilities that include restaurants and poolside bar and grille. Customer service is top notch and friendly oriented workers will make any vacation here one to remember.

Excellent accommodations. The 2 bedroom villas can comfortably accommodate 6 people.

They were nice rooms and very clean. I asked for a crib in my reservation then called a few days before to confirm but it wasn t in our room when we got there. I knew this was going to be a late night which was why it was frusterating to have my exhausted two year old wait around while they delivered it to us. My only other complaint is she forgot her stuffed mickey tangled up in the bedding and they wanted to charge us more then it s worth to ship it out. She keeps asking for it so I m trying to find a friend or someone to pick it up. I ve never been to a hotel that chargers to ship forgotten items. Especially after we spent a week there.

Huge villas, 3 pools open till 1am. Restaurants and market onsite. Large soaking tub for 2. Close to theme parks and shopping.

Nice resprt. Secure . Clean. Close to Disney and other attractions around. For those planning to cook, there are enough utensils for family of 5-6.

I come here frequently, and would give it 4/5 if they would just get their WiFi in order. EVERY year there are WiFi issues. 6 years ago it was bandwidth, and only a few people could connect to the internet at a time, but the past few years everyone can get on, but on certain days or at certain times the internet will be so slow that even webpages won't load (no matter how few people are using the internet). It's fine for casual use, but do not count on the wifi if you plan to have business meetings or the like.

Excellent apartment complex to be in Orlando. Super complete and equipped.

We hold our family reunion here every year. Lots of fun, tons of amenities. It's like a home away from home, with 6 pools!

Very dated, no ceiling fans in bed rooms. the shower water goes hot cold. No nightstands in master. Nice view of the highway, noisy.

Very friendly staff, well organized. Our 2 bedroom suite was kept very clean and seemed like it had been renovated recently. Kids LOVED. the pools, 7 total and easy to walk to. Make sure to check out the Magic and Meyhem Magic show

Wonderfully maintained newer units, excellent friendly service, outstanding hard court tennis with lights and even a clay court!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. What else can you ask for?

We had a fabulous stay at Sheraton Vistana Resort. However, one thing I would like to post as I believe there are honest people out there. I lost a gold ring with diamonds on it. It is a keepsake for me and I would truly appreciate if anyone found it to please contact me!!!!

Wonderful place for a family. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with enclosed balcony. Amenities were great. My granddaughter loved the multiple pools.

Very relaxing resort. Top of the line accomodations. The various themed pools are great for hanging out, swimming, and playing.

This resort is surprisingly large. The staff is very nice and helpful. The grounds are well maintained. The many pools are nice and open until 1 AM. This is great for families that have been at the parks all day, but still want to swim. We're used to most pools closing around ten, so this was nice for us to see. The units are clean and comfortable. They feel spacious and homey. The market has most things you may need in a pinch. My only disappointment was that we didn't try any of the restaurants. We spent all our time at the parks.

The facilities were a bit dated and restaurants not at par with a resort. One of our rooms was not ready when we checked in and we never received a call for its availability. The suites have nice configuration to accommodate families. Good Covid protocols in the rooms.

My family goes every year for a week ever since I was born, we have always loved it. I'm 21 now and this place still holds a part of my heart. Hopefully, we will be going here for many more years to come.

Love it I've had my timeshare there for 6 years look forward to going every year. Centrally located and many nice amenities in property.

Great facilities; several restaurants, shuttle service over the entire resort(135 acres), close to major highways, friendly & helpful staff.

I loved the service, very nice & helpful employees!

Although they are very nice and clean the rooms I find it very dishonest and unethical how to sell at the front desk, first they offer you gifts (a giftcard and gifts for the baby) and then they tried to charge me the "gifts" on my credit card which I NEVER asked for. If I do not realize in time, they would have charged me. Thank God I never used that gift card or the toys and I gave them back and asked them to charge me what was agreed in the contract from the first day when I made my reservation. Whoever wants to visit this place, I do not deny that the facilities are very nice and worthwhile, but be very careful with this unprofessional method in which they will want to charge even the "gifts".

It was ok. The staff was friendly for the most part. WiFi is horrible.
