Great hotel. Heated big pool. Also one of the only hotels in a quite area with a direct beach access. The front office manager Vikas gave us a great service to make sure we were more than comfortable.

very relaxing when having drinks in the evening.

Sadly our stay over Christmas was quite disappoint...

Sadly our stay over Christmas was quite disappointing for a 5 star hotel it definitely doesn t live up to the standard... mould through the halls and rooms smelling of smoke! Makes for quite an uncomfortable stay. The pool bar was way understaffed and service very slow and not very attentive around the whole area seem to just walk by the pool and that s as far as they would look to take orders. Terrible value for money and wish we didn t book. Oh and not sound proof at all it was not enjoyable hearing the people in the room next to us. Hotel needs many upgrades. Photos are from the north wing.

Beautiful resort with amazing friendly and helpful staff. Room was great and clean. My only suggestion would be to do what other hotels are now doing and have the mini bar prices reduced or free as they are ridiculously expensive.

It's lived up to our expectations of a good Gold C...

It's lived up to our expectations of a good Gold Coast resort in a great setting with outdoor, gym, beautician. The business conference facilities are good too and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are well insulated with sound, generous in size with very comfortable beds.

The buffet seafood is incredible and the proximity to the beach is convenient. The staff are attentive and really nice. The rooms are clean but overpriced for what they include. The sheets were tattered and ripped. This could have been unlucky though. The curtains had mould spores on them. This could easily be fixed and bring the rooms up to a better standard. The pool looks bigger in the photos. Most of the pool is a pond you can t swim in. I would say this is a good location for families but it is expensive. I wouldn t recommend it for singles or couples wanting a luxurious hotel. However if you are a family with a generous budget, it s a great place for kids. I would recommend couples or singles stay elsewhere and just go to Sheraton for the seafood buffet.

Amazing. One of the most memorable experiences of our lives. The ambience, interior, service- top notch and world class. Very attentive staff and cannot wait to return. Only downside - despite the fabulous customer service from Steve at the Oyster Bar, the food was bland and not very fresh. Very overpriced for mediocre food.

It was a great surprise for my birthday to stay in...

It was a great surprise for my birthday to stay in Sheraton Grand Mirage. It was also a new experience for me. The place was amazing. It's quite clean and tidy with following all the covid19 restrictions. Every part of the hotel such as rooms, lobby, pool area, restaurant were built for the comfort of their guests. There are three things made us disappointed. Firstly, Asian lady at the lobby reception desk was a bit rude. Secondly, pool bar workers was quite rude. And thirdly, there is not halal food available for the Muslim people. We stayed with vegetarian side again but foods was quite delicious with professional chefs and lovely friendly staffs. Thanks for the nice experience Sheraton Grand Mirage. Hope to see you again.

Great food and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't be closer to the beach. Beautiful pool area and bar facilities. Always make this a regular venue for a casual meal out or special celebration.

We spent a week there for my future hubby's birthd...

We spent a week there for my future hubby's birthday and it was the most relaxing place.
All the staff were AMAZING! They continually went above and beyond our expectations.
It was all the little things..... the birthday cake on arrival, the smiles, the friendliness.
We just arrived home and we have already booked for next year!

Been going to the buffet dinner here for quite a few years now and while the quality of seafood did go down (as did Marriott), it seems to be on the rise. Our waiter, Patricia, was above and beyond in terms of service and friendliness. Would definitely recommend her for any staff recognition program Sheraton may have.

Stayed in a villa here for a week. Had everything we needed and more inside. Location is also great. One of the kids were unwell during the night, and the staff were helpful in bringing us whatever we requested and changed the linen. The pool area is beginning to look a bit tired and dated, but other than that the resort is perfect

Spectacular location, very well maintained beach, great interiors the room was really spacious and comfortable ,had a great sleeps beds were amazing ,had a good swim in the pool which was quite big in size the only thing I reckon there should be more choice in breakfast menu.

Reception and appearence is rather grand however the 2 rooms we stay in carpet seems dirty
We had to argue we booked a king room as the hotel said they dont guarantee bookings from 3rd parties
We paid more for a king room and after 20 mins waiting at check in we got a king room
No offer of discount or free breakfast despite moving room and waiting
Spa has mould in the pipes or something
Both rooms have dirty curtains
Room service food isnt really hot perhaps serving food on warm plates would help?

Resort is ok but seems 5 star rating varies a lot

Please do not be fooled by the glossy photos from the website. Firstly our room was a disgrace for a Sheraton ! I have numerous photos which I will upload once back to my office next week on all sites. Bath was peeling in numerous places and mould everywhere , stained rug .. Food average club sandwich with two tiny pieces of chicken , chips drenched in oil. (Not fries) the linen lovely the pillows lovely the bed terrible nice join in the middle ???? Shall I continue ! Plenty of better places for close to 400 a night ... disgraceful. Never again or any of the affiliated companies !!!!!

Still a great resort. Been here many times for the buffet breakfast and still this time it was perfect. This was my first time as an overnight guest and really enjoyed the spacious Terrace room that I got luckily upgraded on check-in. This place has huge benefits such as backing right on to the main beach with life-guarded beach and close proximity to the great restaurants and shopping across the road, accessible via the footbridge. The only criticism I have is that although the resort has aged gracefully, I feel some of the recent-year tack-on additions to the lighting in the rooms and surrounding landscapes have not been thought through very well. It is all good in theory to use linear strip light to highlight the boardwalk but having it clearly visible to guests and diners in the restaurant was severely off-putting. Would recommend getting a lighting designer on board to assist.

We stayed for 3 nights in a musky, smelling room with an air conditioner blowing humid air.
Every morning I woke up violently ill. We both had sleepless nights due to the heat. We tampered with the air conditioning all weekend, assuming we could fix the problem.
When we came back in the afternoons, the smell and the humid air was terrible in our room.
Every time I left the room I felt better for the day then every morning woke up violently ill again.
I'm grateful my friend forced me out of my bed every morning and out of that room! We did not know at that point it was the room making me ill until the night before check out.
We even stayed out of the room until midnight, sitting on the beach because I was too frightened to go back in our room. I was frightened I would be sick for our flight home the next day.
We realised a pattern emerged with me being ill only after sleeping in our room for 3 nights.
My friend also could not stand the musky smell of the room.
We both had sleepless nights due to the heat, but we always thought we could fix it with the air conditioner. That's why we did not complain.
One morning I was too ill to get out of bed, my friend went to breakfast alone. She grabbed a vegetable juice for me to bring back to my room. The staff were quick to stop her. She told them I was very ill and they said that's too bad, this vegetable juice is not leaving the Terrace Restaurant
We were both disgusted at this as well. No offer for help no offering to get a manager to check on me, nothing.
I received an email to fill out a survey for our weekend stay. After giving all of this detail, a manager tried to contact me for 2 days. When we eventually spoke, he said he was checking up on me... but then made it very clear that they were not going to believe anything I said and blamed me for my illness.
He acknowledged they could see us tampering with the air conditioning day and night, all weekend, yet he continued to point the finger at me. Acknowledging I was feeling fine when I checked in and feeling fine after leaving the hotel... no more signs of illness since checking out.
Now, because we did not complain. I received a phone call only to be spoken down to and dismissed by a manager .... that's not right and it is definitely not fair! I lost nearly 3 kilos that weekend through loss of appetite and throwing up every morning.
I wish I could give you no stars as a rating!
I'm 55 years old and have travelled the world, staying in many hotels.
Never have I stayed in such a room and been treated in such a manner.. by a manager, who says he's calling to check on my recovery, after making a legitimate complaint, only to be dismissed and spoken down to.

A faulty ironing board in the room caused the iron...

A faulty ironing board in the room caused the iron to fall off the iron and scold my arm badly. I requested an incident report be done which was not Not shared with me. Then I was informed afterwards that the ironing board was not faulty. Nor did it require fixing, even though the video I have of it would suggest different. The manager mark refused to call me not share the incident report. They offered me points, which in this case do not win prizes. Very bad incident and worse management. I now have to log a claim through there insures and am taken the matter public. Will post here everyday until the matter is fixed. Additionally many services including the TV did not work in the room. If you are a family do not go here as the room was dangerous. Me being burnt was bad enough but imagine a child being burnt due to the negligence of the hotel to check on ironing boards and irons in the hotel. Pathetic service.

Great facilities, concierge, rooms, pools and dining. Definitely a 5 star resort however I took away a star because of the layout (huge and sprawling) and the fact that the walkways between buildings smelt mildly of sewerage and feel like glasshouses.

King suite was a good size, and the poolside wedge...

King suite was a good size, and the poolside wedges were great, but that's where the positives stop.
The room was tired looking, the bed was saggy, and the traffic noise was horrendous, it was like being trackside at a raceway.
The 10% discount on F&B as a Bonvoy member does not apply to in room F&B plus there is is a $7 room delivery charge.
BYO streaming subscriptions on your device for casting to the TV as that was also a surprise for an alleged 5 star. At best, in my experience, this resort is 3.5 star at a 5 star price.

Great hotel, nice ocean beach and good layout. Avoid rooms facing the seaworld road as they can be noisy all night with traffic, otherwise we have had helpful staff who moved us into a pool facing room which is much quieter. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Good option when staying on GC.

Five Stars - you've got to be kidding! Thia place is just ok - it's a 2 or 3 star hotel/ resort at best, desperately in need of repair and new management. If you're okay with ordinary, this place will suit you fine, but if you've tasted 5 star resorts around the world generally, this place just doesn't cut it at all. From little things like only allowing you one coffee in the morning as part of your Buffett breakfast (they charge for the second) to overbooking the breakfast area to include for outside guests on Christmas day (of all days) which meant you had to wait at least an hour before you could be seated at breakfast! Five star resort my backside. They are clearly more interested in chasing the dollar than providing you with the best service and a relaxing time on what is, after all, your holiday. Our first and last visit to this sad joint.

Beautiful resort. Good service, nice rooms, good location. Only 3 storeys so doesn't feel rushed and built up like the rest of the Gold Coast can. Bonus $15 f&b vouchers each night you refuse room service!
