Wonderful friendly staff who are eager to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Very professional and extremely accommodating. With COVID, they are working twice as hard to keep everyone safe, and you can see this during breakfast whereby literally everything is delivered to your table by the staff.
PROS: spacious rooms, location, pool, poolside service (love the Gin and Tonic bar), Chromecast in room with giant TV, and beautiful garden setting.
CONS: somewhat dated, limited offerings for guests with special dietary needs, no fan or ventilation in bathroom, a bit noisy.
OVERALL: highly recommended (if there are special deals).
Thank you to all the amazing staff that made our stay so memorable. Special thanks to Oscar and Tracey in Pearl bar and to Jamie and Barry in Terrace restaurant. We will definitely be back and recommend you to all our family and friends
Not going back after 3 visits in the last 6 months the seafood gets worse and the menu has been the same each time. I think Woolworths seafood has more flavour and freshness.
Awesome.Beautiful pool.Terraces Restaurant seafood meal was fantastic. SO much food. Highly recommend.
Lovely lunch and service. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food was some of the best I've had.
A bit out of the way, but a great resort if you do t want to be in town
Nice spot, away from the madness the gold coast has to offer but close enough to enjoy it
Good service, beautiful building. Enjoyable all round
As soon as you u walk in its really modern full of water lovely people and a wonderful view but the rooms are like a little extra you don't go there to stay in the room you go there just so you have a roof over your head
This place is great for a quiet weekend away. Oysters in the Oyster Bar were superb. Rooms are nice and the location is amazing. Love the pool and the beach so all boxes ticked.
I had a very pleasant stay for a conference. The room was comfortable, a great size, and a pleasant outlook. Room service was prompt and from a good varied menu. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A good choice of dining options between casual and formal. The seafood buffet was excellent. The function facilities were good with helpful support and tech staff. A lovely outlook from common areas. It's a shame the conference rooms were windowless. My only criticism.
Spacious rooms, great bathroom with fantastic water pressure. Breakfast buffet is much better than the room service option.
We had a great stay
Celebrating our Daughter's Birthday
Great meals in thr restaurant
Seafood and Wagu steak to dye for
Amazing service, room was awesome with great amenities. Plenty of areas to relax and do some work. Will be staying here many more times to come.
Visiting friends briefly. Beautiful views of the ocean
Long wait to sign in. Long walk to room. Rooms are ok but not well sound proofed so you hear everything. Staff seem disinterested and lack motivation. The hotel is being rebranded as Marriot. This is the worst Sheraton I've stayed at.
The whole place lacks atmosphere. Things are showing their age. Maintenance seems sloppy. If the rumours are true about it being sold to a Casino group that would make sense. No one seems to care here.
There are plenty of better offerings nearby. Don't go by the brand here. It's well below par!
(Don't pay attention to any comments by the hotel to this review "regretting our experience" etc etc. Nothing changes. It's just PR bs)
Very nice atmosphere. .straight to the beach. It's a stunning resorts hotel .
Room is old and outdated. The location is great and has a back gate to the beach. Service is slow and can be arranged better.
My experience at the Sheraton Grand Mirage has so far been nothing short of fantastic.
It wasn't that great to be honest. Main part is breakfast... It was unbelievably horrible and boring and finishes too early at 10:30... 11:00 would be better. Seafood buffet wasn't that good either, only the raw fish was alright but not unlimited, the rest was a bit dry.
Not coming back to Sharaton GC again for sure!
Little disappointed visited friends staying and room was a little tired, had to keep asking for missing things. Ordered a warm turkush sandwich which was the most disappointing very very ordinary oddly with corn chips. at $23 it certainly was not worth the price.
The facilities are very good albeit a little tired and in need of a refresh, however, the pool is pretty amazing and a swim up bar is always a treat. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The easy access to the essentially private beach is a big selling point.
Very beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the beach. Walking distance to the beach, but the pools at the resort are really cool. The food at the restaurant is very nice, and the staff are all lovely.
The
Hotel is very cute and luxurious. The pool is very nice and the restaurant is also good. It is right on the beach, it has a lot of vegetation and beautiful views. However, if they have young children there may be an option with more activities for them. This does not have Kids club or a zone with games or something for them. And it is also far from the center, which depends a lot on a car. It has a small shoping opposite, but the stores are not so nice and has only 4 restaurants that are not special and quite expensive. It's nice, but there must be better options in Gold Coast.
Beautiful facilities and such a great location on the beach
Grand and luxurious, I love the Sheraton. With easy access to the beach from the pool, the marble floors and up to date technology and hotel rooms, what is not to love?
Rooms great size. Good location. Pool is not great (too small) but close to beach so that's ok.
Great stay at the hotel. Luckily got to visit before the borders shut. Would definitely stay here again my kids loved the pool.
The most amazing hotel experience. If you ever intend on staying at a hotel in surfers paradise this is the place to be. Truly remarkable. The seafood buffet looked awesome near the terrace. Highly recommend
Had lunch there and food was amazing and service top notch.
We arranged our 1st visit through My Queensland holidays, had a spa studio room Very nice big room But no balconies Great location
Enjoyed staying here over Christmas. They have an awesome spot right on the beach. Lots of families, really good if you have kids. They have a swim up bar in the pool so you can order drinks and some food. Staff are very friendly.
All the staff I met were wonderful.
We rented two cribs, added blankets, added amenities, unlocked the security box that the child had closed, and so on.
There is nothing wrong with a stroller in the hotel.
You can play with the children in the pool, and there is a game room in Kai, and there are blocks for small children, so I let them play.
I was very happy with it, but I chose 4 stars because I was only concerned that the bathroom wasn't very clean, probably because I was in a hurry to clean the housekeeping.
Other than that, the hotel is really satisfying.
It seems to be an annual event from next year.
Really enjoyed staying at this hotel, private beach, large pool we had the seafood buffet one night which was so fresh highly recommended! Would definitely stay again. Hotel just felt a little dated.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Everything is the quality you expect. Very family friendly. Pool area is really nice on a sunny day.
Bit old and tired. Needs a facelift. Fantastic location. Right on the beach.
Its a good place. Very peaceful. Sea World is close to there. Very close!
Dated rooms and worn out facilities are what to expect for guests.
The bartenders are on a power trip, forcing paying guests to order $30 worth of food if they're wanting to consume an alcohol drink.
The worst hotel and service I have experienced on the Gold Coast, avoid at all costs.
Good hotel with nice beach close by. Loved the hotel bar with good drinks
It's a very luxurious place, everything is extremely clean. But it does not have beach services and it has a policy that they will take your thing away if you leave your pool chairs for more than 30 minutes. And they do it. Makes me so nervous
Bad service, more like a 3 star hotel, paper cup coffee for room service.
It s Christmas. I ate a seafood buffet for 180 per person.
I think it's too much to eat I don't have much to eat... I think it's better to take the chowder with other Koreans too
They brought a lot of them. The rooms and facilities are good except for the buffet! If you go out to the back of the pool, it is connected to the beach, so it would be nice to stop by the pool.
Great hotel to stay at has all you need the pool is right there and the beach is right in front of you.
Great buffet breakfast and Seafood buffet at night
Excellent stay as always! the food is incredible, as is the staff and accommodation.
A special thank you also to Deviana (housekeeping Supervisor), her friendly disposition has always left a lasting impression on our kids and they always look forward to seeing her each time we stay!
Good food, service was abit ordinary today, have been many times before at it has been A1
Wonderful setting close to the beach, beautiful pool areas throughout the complex, spacious clean rooms
I went to Australia Tour Group Tour No. 1 and it was very good. After that, I keep this hotel as a regular lodging.
I would not recommend this hotel.
The facilities are dated and poorly maintained. Service staff is unprofessional.
Received rotten strawberries in fruit salad, breakfast order was incorrect after being asked 3 times.
Stayed here for a weekend trip to the Gold Coast, would recommend staying elsewhere.
The service staff out the front were truly one of the highlights of the trip..... thank you again for a smooth transition
Rooms and grounds are lovely but you can hear every single door opening and you can also hear next door if they're talking
Room is amazing. Large, spacious. Service has been delightful. Oyster Bar has fresh oysters, food fantastic. Conference rooms with a view!
Outstanding service friendly staff and fantastic food
The little guy from the engineering department is very non-cooperative and acts like he is the guardian of the hotel. In a situation that could ve been resolved by talking calmly, he got himself wound up like a little barking Chihuahua. Zac from reception also had poor communication with the staff. Whoever is managing this place doesn t have their finger on the pulse
This would have to be the best hotel on the Gold Coast. Located right on the beach the facilities and service is second to none. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
I've had a couple of nice work functions here. Check in is slow when dealing with large groups. Service at the over priced pool bar is terrible but the place overall is nice.
Awful service. The middle aged staff in the breakfast area and the female staff in the pool area make it clear that their primary purpose is something other than serving the guests. Snappy, passive-aggressive, impatient. Guests are seen as an inconvenience. 5-star luxury resort? Lol. No chance.
I am still in the middle of my experience but it has been one of the best hotel experiences of my life, the views are incredible and the service and food is outstanding
Great grounds, nice spacious rooms and nice staff. Unfortunately the bar / restaurant was closed very early.
Loved this resort, it is huge, and lovely rooms. The bathing tub is huge! I would only update the pools tiles.
The Christmas buffet at the Sheraton was delicious. The seafood was superb. The staff were attentive. Make sure you try all the desserts.
