Nice hotel overall. The pool and workout area are in need of some improvement and a hot tub would be a nice option since the pool is so cold. The breakfast was not worth the price in my opinion. Eggs, bacon, cold French toash, cereal and slightly fresh fruit round out the buffet. The saving grace is the omelet bar, unfortunately the chef likes to hide in the back most of the time. The bar and dinner restaurant are pretty good and hard to beat for a meal close to the hotel. Not a bad experience overall, but it definitely some room for improvement.

I received a voucher to stay here after my flight was canceled. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud (much needed after an exhausting day at the airport), the hospitality was great, they offered late check out given I checked in so late at night, the wifi was strong, there was plenty of room to get work done in the lobby, and their decor was elegant. I highly recommend!

The Sheraton group just lost my business over a large cup of coffee. I recently attended a convention there. On Saturday morning I was given a large complimentary cup of coffee at their Starbucks bar. Several other attendees were given the same treatment. The next day I was charged for the same cup of coffee. Several attendees that day got free coffee as well. I found out later some at the convention got free coffee and others were made to pay. When confronted at the front desk the Sheraton personal claimed everyone was being charged. This simply wasn t true. My roommate for instance got free coffee both days. The Sheraton/Lisle employees said there wasn t anything they could do when I asked them to remove the charge from my credit card. It may not seem like a big deal. But being treated unfairly is something I won t tolerate. My business may seem small. But I do travel extensively and I will never stay at a Sheraton property again. All for the cost of a large cup of coffee.....

Good nights stay. Room was clean and comfy. Wifi was 20meg speed and free. No rush checkout (housekeeping not knocking on your door early). Robes in the bathroom to wear after your shower..nice touch. We stay in hotels a lot and this was not the best we have encountered but it certainly was in the top 10.

NEVER USE THIS HOTEL FOR A WEDDING!!!!

NEVER USE THIS HOTEL FOR A WEDDING!!!!

This experience could not have been less organized or more stressful. My husband and I chose this hotel for our wedding and we ended up with approximately 30 rooms booked. Throughout the entire time leading up to our wedding they had trouble finding our reservations and giving us a total number of rooms booked, despite having our own "wedding block." The "suite" they provided us was clean and orderly, but completely mundane and underwhelming for a wedding. For having a bridal suite no one said congratulations to us or even acknowledged that we just got married. The staff was argumentative and unhelpful when members of my wedding party and I were trying to make accommodations for late check in or check in by proxy (which was necessary because they were taking pictures with us all day). My brother-in-law and his wife reserved conjoining rooms for themselves with their small child and their in-laws, but they ended up 3 floors apart. The "shuttle" the provided for us to get to and from the venue was a nasty, rickety, old, rusty, van that looks like it was salvaged out of a junk yard last week. We were utterly disappointing once we saw it! The "stairs" for the van were a junked old 2 step from a kitchen that had several pieces of wood drilled and screwed into it to try and support it. Me, my husband, my parents, and my new in-laws had to wait at the venue for more than 40min to get picked up by the shuttle at the end of the night. The only thing my husband and I would have changed about our wedding is we would NEVER have booked and single room at this hotel, least of all for a wedding or any event that has any sort of meaning!!!

The hotel is adequate. Appearances are nice. Close to highways and restaurants.

Our room
We were situated on the second floor at the end of a hallway, near stairs.

Pros:
Hot water was immediate at faucets.

The bedding (mattress, pillows, blankets etc) were amazing! The best sleep I've had in a while, it was very comfortable.

Very little noise from "people" around us (and it was at full capacity).

Close to highways for ease of access.

Cons:
Terrible Mechanical noises continually. It sounded like a race horn going off every 30 seconds (non stop). We couldn't change rooms as they were at full capacity).

Air cooling unit was sluggish...didn't want to keep room very cool even set continually at 68 and the room was very stuffy and humid. The weather outside was actually very comfortable for this time of year, not overly hot and humid so not sure why the cooling unit was not working.

No complimentary breakfast...not a big deal but I'm used to staying in places (both more expensive and less expensive) where that is offered and I prefer that.

TV remote was non functioning, again not a big deal but something I don't want to deal with.

The room only had two bath towels, two hand towels and two wash cloths...there needs to be four of each ready so I don't have to call and request more.

The "glass" drinking cups were filthy! Give me plastic hermetically sealed plastic cups any day! Seriously I don't care if it's plastic as long as it is sealed in plastic wrap that I remove.

Ceiling was unusually low...I'm only 5'-4" and it felt low. The shower head in the bath was really low as well, it wasn't a comfortable shower even for me. My husband really struggled with it, he's 6'-1" tall.

Overall this hotel was ok for two nights but I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Nice place to stay the night, close to Chicago, easy to find. The bedding was very comfortable, pool was clean if not a little cool, room and halls were kept up decently. It appears a little dated in decor. I got a great deal on Priceline, More

An ok hotel. Staff were friendly but the rooms weren't very well kept. The sheets reeked of bleach, tv was stuck on the visually impaired setting, and we had to use the lobby bathroom as our stool did not function.

Nice hotel - easy to find from I-88. The hotel seemed well maintained and was recently renovated by the look of it. Staff was very courteous and nice as well. Plenty of space in the rooms, as well as comfortable beds. Bathroom was good size as well, with a nice high shower head. Pool and exercise area was nice too.

Only two eh features: 1) No hot tub with the pool. 2) the breakfast is 14.90 for a "buffet" - a little expensive for what was available in my opinion. Neither of these are reasons for me to knock off stars though.

Why would you have one elevator going on a Friday night? Especially since we had dogs and didn't want to get on a elevator with others when we had the dogs, Otherwise other than that very clean, comfortable beds.

My family and I decided to take an impromptu road ...

My family and I decided to take an impromptu road trip to Chicago this weekend. We knew that we wanted to stay outside the city and book our hotel through Expedia. Our experience of this hotel started out on this site. The representation of the Sheraton was wonderful. It was nicely updated with beautiful rooms and amenities galore. However when we checked into the room, we were greeted by a very unfriendly woman who didn't seem the least interested in answering any of my questions. This was the first time that my 3 year old had stayed the night at a hotel and the purpose of us staying was to go swimming that evening and then go into the city the next morning. She stated that they had a pool on the lower level and that it closed at 11pm. Of course the first thing my son wanted to do was go swimming. So we went up to the room, got settled and put on our swimsuits only to go down stairs to be greeted with sign that said the pool was closed. The woman at the front desk was not surprised to find this out, which was even more discouraging. Then she told us to go across the street to the Hilton to swim. Ridiculous. Not only was the hotel the complete opposite was the photos portrayed, but the employees were rude, there are no vending machines at all in the hotel and the noise was horrible. The people staying in the room next to us were up all hours of the night having a party and not a thing was done about it. I have had better experiences paying significantly less at a super 8 or Holiday Inn. Very disappointed by the Sheraton.

Good hotel, has a decent gym and the pool was the perfect size. Beds were very comfy, I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was good, menu prices were higher than I expected. Lounge area was warm although a real fireplace could easily replace the digital one they have installed. Unfortunately the pool and gym access was only via a single elevator.

Stayed here because they are pet friendly. Didn't tell us about the $50 pet/cleaning charge until we arrived. Our bathroom faucet broke immediately and we needed maintenance to come fix it. No continental breakfast.

I would give them less than 1 star if it allowed me too. I had to spend a night at a hotel bc I am in the process of moving out of state! I have not slept in 7 days. I get here, check in everything is ok not what I was expecting a Sheraton Hotel to be but that was ok! My problem was at night the fire alarm kept going off at least 3 different times we were all evacuated from our rooms to the front of the hotel at 1am. For it just to be a false alarm get back in bed and finally fall back to sleep by 2am not 15 min later the next alarm goes off! This happened 3 times when I asked to talk to a manager he said I am sorry there is nothing I can do for your inconvenience! Really! This place is ok but management is horrible and if you have any problems they don t fix it they just make things worse! Stay Away! DO NOT STAY HERE! Find somewhere else!
