it's a nice hotel and just within arms reach from New York city pier and all the city attractions; the staff are great, smiling and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and bright with amazing view towards the water and overlooking NY skyline. Haven't tried the food or breakfast here so cannot comment. the hotel does sell the cruise tickets to NYC and that's an added bonus and convenience..

The restaurant only serves an $18 buffet and it's terrible. They really rip you off here and the phones don't work in the room. No movie channels or pay per view. Rude front desk staff ordered a pizza and they wouldn't let him come up not even with a bellman. Staff does not have any recommendations because they obviously are not educated in the area or do not go to dinner??? Stay away from this place!!

The room was clean, everything worked fine, and it had a great view of Manhattan, day or night. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be near to the ferry dock or wanting a nice view of the city.

Nice hotel. 1 bus stop from Time Square or a short and beautiful trip by ferry to West Manhattan. Great view from the NY room. Nice pool to relax after the bustle of the city. Breakfast only a la cart. Ask for free WiFi.

Cons: Our room was not as clean as it should have ...

Cons: Our room was not as clean as it should have been (hair on floor, dirty faucet knobs). The elevator smelled like urine. The remote button was damaged. My cousin ordered hot wings; you pay $10 and only get 6 (no sides); she ultimately threw some away because they were undercooked.

Pros: The good things about this place is that we had an awesome view from the hotel window, and the staff is very helpful/friendly about how to travel the area via bus/subway. This place is right in front of the bus stop from the NJ transit, which takes you back and forth to MY for only $3.50.

Less than half the price of a New York City hotel, and it is just across the river. Ferry is right outside the door. The hotel sells tickets, if you get a kids free have the hotel give you a copy of the deal, the ferry company does not tell the staff about the specials, but the hotel knows.

The hotel itself is a middle of the road Sheraton property in the US, but they get 5 stars for the location, which is great for getting into midtown Manhattan via the ferry 1 minute walk away or the NJ Transit bus (126 in a 3 minute walk, 158 in 1 minute). Didn't use the pool, but saw a ton of kids going to it, so must be good. Excellent views from the parking lot or from the Hudson facing rooms.

Sad that they took away the generous pet policy.

Unfortunately, we were not given the chance to see our room due to the hotel cancelling our reservation without notice. Thank GOD we made our reservation through Expedia so we had help finding an alternative location. Whatever the reason for cancelling, the epitome of poor customer service came from the concierge at the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel. My husband and two separate Expedia representatives (whom were both very polite), called to confirm the reservation. The woman from Sheraton Lincoln Harbor simply stated, "your reservation is cancelled" and hung up the phone. Line terminated. No explanation, no feeble attempt to contact support- nada. We will be in NYC in less than 24 hours, now without a room.

What type of facility cancels a reservation without warning? But even worse, doesn't even attempt to rectify the situation?

Staff was kind and was as helpful as possible. We paid over $200 for one night and it didn t include parking or even WiFi. The hotel is incredibly outdated and they charge for every little thing. The room was hot all night long even after trying to put on the AC. There was no mini fridge, charged $4 for a small bottle of water, and obviously no continental breakfast.

Really not worth the price. You might as well spend the extra $100-$200 to stay right in NYC with all the extra fees you end up paying.

The stay was nice. Right by the water, could see the New York City skyline and had comfortable beds. Standard room set up. The only downsides were the air conditioner in the room was broken so we couldn't adjust the temperature and there was a 25$ per night parking fee for overnight guests. It's walking distance from the Chart House. Attended a wedding event there so it was an easy walk from the hotel and back. Pleasant stay overall

When i booked i have requested higher floor and ocean view, and mentioned it at check-in. Front office representative told me absolutely she will do her best and then ended up giving 4th floor, no view and we got a problem with bathroom door.We informed front office regarding the issue and asked to fix the problem before we will come back to hotel. We left hotel around 3.30pm came back at 10.00pm and find out that they didn t fixed it.After several attempts to explain Front office lady that we just need to rest we can t wait until someone will approach and fix it, since they had enough time for it, she asked to wait in the room sent engineer after all these non solvable procedures she decided to change room.She was very unprofessional, disrespectful and rude.

I love this place. The rooms are nice, the staff are wonderful, and the ferry to Manhattan is practically at the front door. That ferry ride is the greatest way to start or end a day.

I recently returned from a trip to NYC we stayed in this hotel . The guest service was wonderful! The staff are really friendly and helpful we we're a group of 11 with 5 wheelchairs the rooms were nice and clean and there was room to move around with the wheelchairs! I'm very impressed and very pleased with this hotel! We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything

Great location, especially is you want easy access...

Great location, especially is you want easy access to NYC, with water taxi just steps away. Room was all updated and very clean. All services from check-in to housekeeping were excellent. For example, asked and received extra pillows within minutes and she also brought extra free waters.
Minus a few points for no 24 hour room service nor any food available (even vending) and false fire alarm/evacuation at 12:30am.

Showing it's age, with noisy air conditioners and dirty lifts - but great staff and convenient location makes it a decent choice if working in northern New Jersey by day and entertaining in NYC at night. Keep your eye out for bands on tour here, one of the few places around with bus parking.

Great place to stay if are wanting to be in the NYC area but away from the crowds. Fantastic view of the Manhattan Skyline and a friendly staff. Our room was large and clean. They also had a nice club room, indoor pool and fitness center. The only downsides were it s difficult to get back to the hotel late at night because the ferry stops running and the cab rides back from NYC are pricey, so make sure you make travel arrangements back ahead of time if planning to return late and you don t have a car. The only other complaint we had was the free breakfast up in the club room was very minimal. They need to expand that a bit.

Been a SPG Platnium member for 3-4 years, plus Gold. last year I didn't travel, thus A Gold Member, BUT this hotel wants you to pay $25 more for a room on the club level . Funny thing, other guests weren't even SPG members but we're at the club floor level. When I asked Nicole at the front desk about it, she informed me I could pay $25 for an upgrade. Seriously ???? I already paid $239 for a corner room, with no view, no fridge, two double beds and outdated, I guess this hotel doesn't appreciate SPG loyalty. And, to think, I'll of stayed 11 days at a Sheraton property out of 13 days to be downgraded . NO MORE ..,

Room was very clean. Had a sitting area with a desk and it's own tv. Beds were comfy and wifi was free with a paid upgrade service if desired. Only thing missing was room service. Ferry to Manhattan located right outside.

My family drove from Texas for business and decided to bring our children we only had 1 free day to sightsee. When we arrived right away the man named Andrew looked at us and changed how he treated us just because of the way we looked mind you we were on the road for 4 whole days and my children were fussy and just wanted to stay and relax. My daughter saw how he treated other people kindly and noticed how he treated us with frustration that we wanted to stay a night there. Never in my life have I experienced such treatment from a person. I would never recommend this place to nobody. Poor customer service and the woman that helped us to try to get into the room thank you. But even when she approved us to stay he still declined us. I m so disappointed since my children s day was ruined by this person who clearly treats other races better than other ethnic groups. Such a beautiful place, but a disgrace how you treat your paying customers.
