It requires a sense of simplicity, and pretty good diction, to be able to talk, and type about a place where your heart can speak volumes of why one loves a place as well as the truth in hate of what could be done in changes of improvements.
It is why I live this place for the freedom to speak wise truths about home.

This hotel is very nice. It is much fancier than I had initially anticipated. While the rooms are kind of small it is very modern and comfortable. The employees are very kind and service is fast. The lounge food is pretty decent as well which I wish we had utilized more. The stair case is hidden from plain sight which was confusing but cool too.

Pros:

Pros:
Pretty nice for a Sheraton. Renovated rooms were nice though small. staff was very friendly.
Cons:
Half the elevators were down part of yesterday, the stairs were off limits, and the entrance is on the backside of the building through a maze of small stairs.

I am a frequent traveler to London and live in hotels 365 days a year. I am Marriott Ambassador level.

First, let me say that this is my favorite hotel in London. While other hotels seems to be in a race to the bottom, in terms of amenities and quality, this hotel has maintained its standards and does not disappoint.

I believe that the world is people not places, and this hotel reinforces that idea. While the property is a lovely Art Deco building and is very well maintained by its maintenance team, it is the staff that make this a great property. From the check-in team (looking at you, Frederique) to the (entire) lounge staff, everyone here is focused on the customer experience.

The executive lounge accommodates any need I have, from coffee to business where I can reserve (for free) the conference room (for 2 hour blocks). As a longstanding Doctor Who fan, I appreciate the Jelly Babies in the lounge. (pictured)

The breakfast in the lounge is great, as is the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant (pictured).

On the weekends, like most hotels, the business crowd vanishes and is replaced by families (some with their pets). Because the Japanese Embassy is only a block away, there are often many Japanese visitors. If you get an upgrade to a suite, you will encounter one of the smart toilets they have here (like being back in Japan) - don't forget to turn the light out! (pictured)

Green park and Hyde Park (pictured) are both within easy walking distance, as is a favorite pub of mine (Ye Grapes), so I really like the location.

I notice EVERYTHING and I can't really think of any complaint I have with this property - a very rare thing for me.

Enjoy your stay - I know you will!

We visited Smith and Whistle for food on our first night in London. Lots of places still closed due to Covid which restricted our choice but we plumped for S&W in the end. Attentive service, I had a lovely burger, husband's main was a little on the megear side and we were both convinced one of the elements was missing but as ever he didn't want to bring it to their attention.

The event was well run and the hotel was gorgeous. Food was good with the main beef being a little tough. There was a fire alarm at the end of the event which was quite odd but the staff acted calmly and courteously.

it seems so poor for a hotel that is charging nearly $1500 per night for a couple with a child to go through 6 phone selection before they let you speak with an operator at the end bathrooms are dated and breakfast is extra

Afternoon Tea:

Afternoon Tea:

I came here for an afternoon tea in the palm court and was quite surprised by the experience. I would not recommend it. I had a 4pm reservation which lead to me being seated at 4.30pm. We were approached by a staff member at 4.45pm and placed our orders immediately. We only received our food at 5pm, and teas at 5.10pm.

Cutlery was not laid out at the start as you would expect (meaning that I could not begin eating until about 5.10pm). Staff would say that they were sorting out the issues, like obtaining cutlery, and then disappear, prompting us to ask someone else for help.

Further issues: the tea I ordered was out of stock (Nilgiri Twirl). Despite being assured that a halal menu was available on the phone- this is not the case. The halal menu is in fact the vegetarian menu, not a true halal menu. People who arrived after us were served before us. Our coats were taken from us with the wrong ticket issued to us. In order to get out quickly, I offered to prove that my coat belonged to me by demonstrating what was in my coat pockets. The service charge at 12.5% was mandatory even though the service was appalling.

This was a horrible experience and was meant to be an anniversary experience. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I am a travel agent and made a reservation through their FAMtastic rate offer which was great value! The reservation was made for this Friday (12/10/18) and we were very excited to come to London but I couldn't locate my reservation anywhere. I emailed the reservations team but after a few hours I became concerned so rang the team. They told me they couldn't find any reservation under my name. I felt so disappointed and the only hotel I could find at such short notice was the IBIS which I had to book on a non refundable rate. Just as I purchase this hotel, I received an email from the Sheraton with my original booking confirmation. I am now not able to cancel my other booking with IBIS. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to staying at the hotel but are now stuck with our IBIS booking which just won't be the same

Facts: location-great. Staff welcoming and ready to help. Cleanliness not the spotless but acceptable. Internet fast and reliable. Breakfast as you expect from Sheratons - well presented, great choice. Coffee MUST improve immediately, though! Strangly, the complimentary water in the room was filled just to the half of bottle... We guess they were too busy to swap it for the fresh one.

Great location.

Great location.
Excellent breakfast.

Suites were very comfortable and spacious with Molton Brown Toiletries and Nespresso Coffee Machine.

Green Park is also located across the hotel. Nice place for picnic with friends.

The hotel and rooms have received much needed refreshment and the location is nice at Green Park. Nice common areas with good afternoon tea a bonus. However, the gym does not go any further, nor do the resturants in the hotel have anything special. However, the breakfast was well approved.

The hotel is difficult to navigate. The elevators are slow, the lobby is crowded, and the room layouts are awkward. The biggest difficulty is the elevators, which are slow and often broken. It can easily take 5-10 minutes to get to the lobby or your room. The TV restarted often. From the bathroom you hear water running all night from neighboring rooms.

Was here for a wedding and put other weddings to shame. The venue is ridiculous and I imagine so pricey but it was unreal. The staff were fantastic and the location was ideal. The whole place is definitely more than even 5 stars!
