We had an afternoon tea for 2 on 27th Dec 2019. The sandwiches were very nice and scones / cakes were average. However, the tea itself was below average.

I would have given an average score but what made our experience poor was the service. Firstly, the server got confused which tea we ordered. My wife ordered Masala Chai and I ordered Lapsang Souchong. The server was unable to recognise which tea is for me and which for my wife. She served us team and then switched the cups as she thought I was served wrong tea but then again swtiched saying she is not sure.. A complete mess..

Secondly, we ordered for vegeterain sandwiches but were given non veg sandwiches, the server then again apologised and changed the sandwiches.

Lastly, we were ordered wrong bill (it was from different table) - so again a mess!

I would definitely not come here again given so many other options exist in London for afternoon team!

Visited this hotel to watch Sonic (the hotels resident magician) perform his Magic Hour event. The hotel was very clean with a luxurious feel to it. Friendly staff members and guests who were sat at the reception table waiting for the shows doors to open. Bar section and toilets available with easy access located on the same floor. Recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful since its refurbishment. The rooms are a little small but cosy. The beds are the comfiest I've ever slept in. Lifts are a little slow. Great location close to the tube and the doorman are always happy to flag you a cab should you need it.

An overall good hotel. Pros are large rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, good location. Cons are the lifts - slow at opening, only two of them for 8 floors, one having its control unit detoriating. Cleanliness is not at its best, ans there is a strange policy at exchanging towels and sheets. Rooms facing Piccadilly street are a little bit noisy, while the rest are very quiet.

Horrible service. Food (starter and main course) tasted good but presentation was absolutely awful considering its a Mayfair experience!! We waited for dessert for over an hour then got some cold stale waffles!!!!

Myself and a friend had the Lock & Co Afternoon Tea and found not only the environment beautiful, but the staff very attentive and helpful and the food absolutely delicious.

It s a wonderful offer they have, especially the fact they ve combined with Lock & Co to offer this fantastic package.

Based on my experience here, I d happily take more people to the hotel and for the Afternoon Tea experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the automatic shoe polisher in the gents, that was excellent.
