We really disappointed after visited.

We really disappointed after visited.
Not sure caused of xmas or not?

1)we had been inform only allow to sit for 90mins which no one informed to me after made reservation.
2)And when we arrive, no one at the reception and we have to wait for a while to be served to sit.
3)when we finished sandwich, no one come to ask do we need refill or not. Same as scone, also no one ask us need refill or not.
We have to raise hand ask for the sandwich when we eating the top level(cake)

No matter is caused by xmas run out of staff or not, we did feel we are not enjoying a englih style afternoon tea. We feel like we are eating Mcdonald's since evrrything we have to ask for ourselves, including teapot run out of tea.(of course the price is not Mcdonald's + +)

How come this kind of service can have afternoon tea 2017 highly recommend award ???

This really ruin my xmas day mood.

The hotel is located very centrally in London just a short walk away from the tube. Staff are friendly and the rooms new and excellent. The one draw back is the slow elevator. There is only a single elevator and no way to walk stairs up to a room.

What a delight! The service and attentiveness the guest services team offer here far exceeds my expectations as a Sheraton. Renovated rooms gave the hotel a fresh feel. Removing the bathtub is probably the best thing to do as the shower stall is huge as a result!

The service at reception was excellent. The room (a single room) was much better than I had expected. I would book again on my next visit to London. Maybe you could replace the lamp shade on the lamp on the desk. Have a look at it on the inside.

Excellent Hotel near Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace, the rooms and the lobby have been recently renovated and everything is like new. The hotel is located in a very central area and I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the center easily on foot. Quality / price Sheraton. Recommended

A lovely hotel with good facilities, and very nice lounge area. Warm, cosy interior and an excellent pub in which you can sit and have a drink, inside or outside the front on Park Lane where you can watch the cars pass and people walk by

was in London for a one-day layover and stayed at this hotel.

Hotel wise - old but clean. The room is comfortable, the bathroom looks great. Has the quaint English retro feel to the whole thing. The only downside was the heating wasn't working that night and it was a cold cold night. Under the covers though I couldn't really tell.

This is really not a modern hotel, but the staff was amazingly helpful and helped me with luggages, my coat, my valuables as I had arrived very early before check-in time, and held my things leaving me to roam London before my room was ready.

Location wise, it is excellent. A stone through from Buckingham Palace, and the Green Park tube station. It is also within walking distance to Bond Street. Really central location.

What a great hotel..perfect location for sightseeing with Buckingham palace being 5 mins walk. We were there to take my mum for afternoon tea at Ritz for her birthday which was also a 5 min walk. Beds were very comfortable and clean the staff were friendly and amazing people making our stay so enjoyable even bringing my mum a cake and prosecco to our room to celebrate mums birthday. Bar staff and breakfast staff brilliant. We will definitely stay again. Thankyou.

The hotel is very well located and the lobby/common areas were very pleasant. The room was quite dated, the bathroom could benefit from a heating mechanism, the in room heater was not working, and when the temp outside is 6 degrees, adding a small heater is not sufficient. In general the stay was well below my expectations for a 5 star SPG property.

Came here for afternoon tea during a hen party. The venue is very fancy with a harpist playing in the background, so definitely recommended for a posh afternoon tea. The food, especially the cakes were all very delicious and great choice of teas to choose from. We chose the afternoon tea with unlimited bubbles which was supposed to be time restricted for obvious reasons, but the staff weren't strict on the timing and allowed us to have a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

I and my friend went for the afternoon tea in this hotel. It is definitely the best afternoon tea I have ever tried. It consists of four different sandwiches, two scones and two dessert, they are all terrific. And the service there was really nice too, they would introduce you every details about the afternoon tea if you are the first time there. You will also enjoy the decoration and music there.

Went for afternoon tea with free flowing chapeldown wine. Very tasty and complimentary additional plates of sandwiches and cakes if you wish. Only thing is to be aware that the free flowing bubbles is only 90 minutes which wasn't clear before we started. Otherwise very nice

Beautiful ballroom, friendly staff. A bit too eager to clear up as plates taken even though other people at the table were still eating. Also at the end glasses were taken despite there were still wine and water left.

Booked 2 rooms to attend a wedding was told check in was 3pm at 5.30pm our rooms were still not ready as we had a wedding and we were missing the reception waiting for our rooms we complained only for the receptionist to lose her temper and become rude to me
Later (11.30) my daughter and partner went to bed only for the lift to breakdown and them being stuck for 30mins

I was charged for one room as told and thought that was it until the host of the wedding called me to tell me they had charged him for the other room
I called the hotel to them this (3 times) and over an hour later they denied offering me a free room and just changed the charge to my card
Terrible service and liars

Good location and near many public transport options. Room okay. Elevator painfully slow. Room amenities a bit lacking (no shower cap, no cotton pads, only 1 free bottle of water) compared to 2 other Sheratons I just stayed at in the same week.
