Well staffed, clean rooms and excellent view of the harbor from the roof top. Jacuzzis and pool were also nice. Location is right next to the peninsula hotel and is very close to the MTR metro station.
The environment is comfortable. The lunch buffet is good. And you can enjoy oyster and other cuisines at a reasonable price.
Great place and clean bathrooms and friendly staff!
The bar on the 18th floor has always been the best place I think of watching the night view of Central.
We ate at a cafe next to the reception. It seems that there are a lot of reservations, so it seems better to make reservations when there are a large number of people.
The location is very convenient, the room is a little small, but you can see the sea view
Great view and atmosphere at the top of the hotel in 18th floor. Good for casual business meetings and drinks
A great hotel for easy access to a lot of what Hong Kong has to offer. Good service and amenities.
This is an older Sheraton. It's nice but not as great as many others in Asia. The rooms facing Harbor are great for the view. The location is decent and close to lots of shops.
Great location, amazing breakfast buffet, nice views, the only issue are the standard room sizes are very small.
Excellent location. About a 3-5 minute walk from the MTR subway station, which makes it easy access for site-seeing in Kowloon and the Hong Kong side. They will hold your luggage all day, so if you check out in the morning, you can pick up your luggage in the evening and conveniently get to the MTR or a taxi.
If you're going to Lantau island (for the Big Buddha or Disneyland) and then leaving on an international flight home, you might consider selecting a second hotel for those nights, as they are about an hour away by taxi or MTR. A taxi from this hotel to the airport area at night was about 250 HKD, but the hotel quoted up to 350 HKD. For a group of 3 people, the taxi is the more convenient and affordable option to get to the airport area, unless you have already paid for the pre-paid tourist Octopus card.
Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Wi-fi was free and reliable. Breakfast buffet was extensive, but the food wasn't as good as some of the breakfast buffets I'd tried at our mainland China hotels. As a vegan, make sure you notify the staff of your dietary limitations. They had soymilk one day, but not others. Some of the foods that were labeled as vegetarian actually had fish or other meat in them. It was probably my fault for not notifying them and just trying to guess base on the signs, but signs for whether or not there was meat inside were inconsistent. The vegetables that I was able to eat were just okay. I'd say that pastries really seemed to be the star of this buffet, but unfortunately I couldn't eat any of them. Even the steam bun options were entirely filled with meat, which hadn't been the case at any of the other hotels I'd stayed at.
It's a nice place, of course. But the staff is a bit cold. You ou can walk around for several minutes like searching for something and nobody ask if you need help.
Clean rooms, good service.
Room was a bit old
Sheraton a great disappointment.
I had high expectations for the Sheraton, because my grandmother came here 30 years ago, and she said it was lovely. This is also the reason why I came here. Oh, how things have changed!
This hotel was a consistent disappointment. Right when I came to the hotel, the English ability of the staff was very disappointing. They even misspelled my name in the form. The room was small, with a poor view of the water (which we paid extra for), and the windows were dirty. The view was blocked by a black section of the window, which meant you couldn t see it from eye level if you were sitting down.
To be fair, the room itself was not too bad, but the size was underwhelming compared to a different hotel we went to a few months ago. The only good thing I can truly say about it is the glass wall, so you could see the TV while you were in the room. Also, the bellboy Chris was quite friendly. He helped us take some pictures by the entrance.
The Lounge was also a huge let-down. My girlfriend brought a nice dress to wear it for the Lounge and Afternoon Tea. The Afternoon Tea consisted of 3 tiny bite-sized pastries and orange juice in a Starbucks coffee cup. The Lounge itself was also a tiny set of rooms full of people and unexciting food. We had to wait 40 minutes to get in, too. The swimming pool was a similar story, and we were unable to go there at all. However, the gym room/multipurpose room was quite decent. The breakfast was also pretty good, but the chef making my omelet did not follow my instructions. Also, they charged us extra for the breakfast despite it being included in our package.
This was perhaps the worst part of it. When we checked out, we saw an extra $600 on our bill for the breakfast that should have been complimentary. I informed the staff, whom I believe was called Erick Yam. I also mentioned to him how my name had been spelled wrong. He did not offer a single apology, and my girlfriend and I left the hotel feeling annoyed, upset, and determined to never come back again.
Sheraton then decided to send my girlfriend multiple emails asking for a review and some feedback and if we would recommend this hotel to our friends or family. She decided to give them 2/10 when it comes to the recommendation section, but I would honestly give 0. This is five-star hotel? This is what I paid so much money for? I would never recommend this to hotel to anyone, and in fact, I would actively dissuade you from going there.
Maybe Sheraton was good once, but my girlfriend and I looked around their trophy display cabinet on the second floor, and we saw they won many awards over a decade ago.
We ate at the restraunt the food was good but overpriced. We did not stay at the hotel so I cannot make any comments regarding that but the hotel lobby does smell amazing and the location of the hotel is also very nice
The bar on the 18th floor has always been the best place I think of watching the night view of Central.
Pricey, but worth it for a few nights stay. We had a room with a view of the harbor, and it was perfect. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Also, the rooftop restaurant was a great place to stop in for a drink or two at night, and it has a great view of the harbor as well.
Gym, buffet restaurant. Easy access to East Tsim Sha Tsui station. easy access to shopping centers and Victoria Harbor.
Nice business hotel in strategic area. View from 18th floor.
We stayed for two nights, and access is good and is satisfactory.
Only one stop from K4 bus from Hong Kong Station.
Unfortunately the pool is small, but deep. (Middle 2m ??)
Good service attitude and convenient transportation
Great location. Great staff. Great for business travellers.
Dine at Morton's of Chicago, 4/F
Crab cake, must try, great taste. Tried Sea food plates, Salmon, Steaks ... A little bit disappointed given its priced. Services are superb tho.
Good location, luxury hotel. Close to main street and shopping mall
I stay at Sheraton because of the executive lounge, platinum recognition, friendly staff and overall consistency. This property does not live up to one of those. In fact, SPG should be embarrassed that their name is associated with this hotel. Management is terrible which explains why the staff are cold and incompetent doing their job duties. They desperately need managerial support, which the clowns they have as mangers cannot provide. Not to forget, the "executive lounge" is repulsive. The hotel has one for platinum (which is horrendous) and one that you have to pay for. .I have spent millions of dollars to be asked if i want to pay to upgrade to the better lounge. To me that is a spit in the face. Why have two lounges??? All in all, if you like to be disappointed, this hotel is for you. If you have standards (which we all should) do not bother. This hotel is worse than a run down motel.
Sarwar Mohamed should be fired. His apologizes to guest are word for word from a book. Not to mention they are insincere. Sorry you had a bad stay rest assured you comments will be heard.....The same issues keep happening and happening. FIND A NEW JOB.
Great location for shopping, dining and sightseeing
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious.
The staff's response was also good.
I think I want to go again!
There are no 5 star hotels on Sogo. The buffet is excellent.
Semi-buffet lunch; there are many choices of staple food. more! There are ready-to-open oysters for your choice.
Don't go to Sheraton!!!! Very poor experience... There is an insect inside the food during my quarantine.
The buffet is delicious. The housing is comfortable.
The top floor restaurant, weekend, has any oysters, brunch buffet, champagne is also a drink
Always a great place to go for a drink and such an excellent view of HK at night. Highly recommended
Moderate location, high environment and first class food.
Excellent hotel in TST neighborhood of Hong Kong. Easy walking distance to the star ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island plus great amenities and service. Highly recommended visiting the Lobby Lounge for a relaxed meal/drink. Received excellent service from Ita here, who helped us to find a comfortable table despite larger crowds due to NYE.
The lunch buffet is good, just the raw oyster is only for some rounds and then stopped. Other than that, everything is very good
Service and view are "very" nice, the drinks and food are nice. It is a perfect place for a calm conversation with a friend or a romantic date
Good service, close-fitting, meticulous. When you change the bone plate, you have to be a little scared.
Friends are holding a wedding dinner here, the staff service is good, but there are a lot of strange things in the venue arrangement.
It is time for me to write a review on my favourite hotel in HK. Again the cafe and reception staff are excellent. They make my stay there very comfortable and welcoming.
Every time I come here, I m here, it s convenient to buy things, and it s convenient to eat.
Do not take food. The position of the male toilet next to the banquet hall is very secret, and the sign is not conspicuous.
The environment is high, the staff is of high quality, the service performance is good, the arrangement process is smooth, and the food is of a standard.
Good location, convenient to go out. I came in summer and wanted to go into the pool. The bath was divided by glass instead of curtains. It is an old hotel, but it has been renovated and is beautiful.
From our most recent stay this week and previous year, this is a fine hotel, all the hallmarks a traveller requires. Great staff, very comfortable rooms and elegant surrounds, excellent cafe, restaurants. Pool is a great asset on the roof.
A haven to come home to after each day's activities or business.
In particular we enjoy service and friendliness of Dennis Cheung who delights us with his skilful wine knowledge, and choices for us!
When I dropped a favourite cardigan in the lift, staff were so responsive to help locate it - by the time I'd finished lunch they had located it and was returned to me beautifully bagged up to my room. Thank you.
An amazing hotel with great amenities. Beautiful views. Amazing food!
Sheraton Hong Kong did a great job making me feel like a second class citizen from the moment I walked in the executive lounge to check-in.. Sorry sir, Towers is only for elite members. (?? My SPG Ambassador level 100+ nights status?)
Platinum is meaningless at this hotel. The pathetic lounge of converted rooms is depressing. SPG has been nothing but downhill with more bad experiences this year than good. So very disappointing.
