Nice for location and cost. Shuttle drivers don t stop without running into the road to flag them down. Lol. Half the floor smelled like weed. It is an airport hotel but it is visible just how many in and out stays there must be. Guests services were very helpful. Food at the bar restaurant was exceedingly good.

I've only gotten to stay one night here but everyone from the front staff to the kitchen staff were very courteous and kind to me! Incredibly clean and well layed out. I hope to stay at a Sheraton another time soon! Best hotel I've seen in LA!

The Sheraton gateway is a comfortable stay with the swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, bar, and Starbucks! The hotel is located near the LAX airport and is about 30 minutes away from downtown LA. The room is spacious and clean; the service is attentative and the people are friendly. One other cool thing I liked was the option to go green, which basically was a tag you put on your door saying you won't change your towels and get the sheets change, and every night you do it you have the option to get either $5 towards food and drinks or 500 star points, and it is stackable! All in all this one for the books.

Pros: Clean, modern, nicely decorated rooms.

Pros: Clean, modern, nicely decorated rooms.
Cons: Detached self parking ($17.55), private events deems the bar, pool and hot tub inaccessible, 50% off Sunday wine wasn't honored.
Bottom line: OK if you are on a budget.

Our stay at the Sheraton Gateway was very nice. We booked a room on New Year's Eve on a whim and for the price we got much more than what we expected. The rooms are nicely appointed with modern furnishings and our view wasn't too bad on the sixth floor. The only downfall and why would not give it five stars is the prison style toilet paper they use. It's a very harsh one ply that isn't even found in a Knights Inn (I'm told). Needless to say I was thoroughly disappointed when using that very necessary product. I wouldn't subject my worst enemy that kind of abuse. Aside from that it was a very comfortable nightd sleep. The airport was unnoticeable as far as sound goes and the hotel itself is very current, clean, inviting and loaded with friendly employees including Rimbi the robot who will bring small toiletries to your room. I highly recommend this hotel keeping in mind you should bring your own toilet paper.

Stayed here when I've missed my flight. Great customer service. Stayed on 11th floor with the view of the airport runway. Bed is very comfortable slept really good even with the sound of planes taking off. Pro: I can watched and hear planes taking off. Con: I can hear planes taking off.

I only stayed one night between flights but found my stay to be most comfortable. The staff was inviting, the interiors were clean and felt up to date, and the rooms were well appointed, with adequate soaps, towels, a fridge (empty) and a microwave on every floor.

I would happily stay here again.

The shuttle took a little time to catch, but the airport is a madhouse to maneuver around.
The front desk was very helpful and brite and cheery. The only bad experience was the wait staff at the restaurant, the only was I could explain it is to compare them to Eyore from Winnie the pooh. We will not be going there to eat again even though the food was very good, the waiter can make or break a restaurant experience.

The best hotel in town! Truly comforts of your home while away. It is our usual holiday to spend on the beach. Not this time. We spend our holidays here in the hotel, as my friend referred to me. I am glad we did because the place was amazing. The kids love it. And the staff was very accommodating and hospitable. We surely come back here again for a future stay. The best!

Had a very good view of LAX and also the swimming pool. Nice king size bed and just okay amenities. The good advantage was the location and free shuttle service to LAX but the downside was only 2 functional elevators for 12 floors which was not practical at all. Well i think it is temporary due to ongoing renovations.

I stayed here one night and want to pay room charge with cash. When I checked-in yesterday I checked it is possible to pay with cash or not, counter said it's OK. So I only deposited by card. But this morning 9:00 AM I can not pay with cash. Because counter person says that she can't cancle card-deposit, only manager can do that. But manager is not there, will be 10:00 AM. I can't wait manager cause of my flight time. So I have to pay by credit card not with cash. Yesterday they said 'paying with cash is OK' but Today they say 'paying with cash is IMPOSSIBLE'. I feel bad this morning.

All of the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was a bit shabby, but it was neat and clean. Despite the proximity to the airport, we found it surprisingly quiet, we slept really well. The breakfast was "typically American" and tasted good. The coffee here was excellent by American standards. We can definitely recommend the hotel.

Had a very nice stay at the sheraton, pool was quite warm but a little small, food at the lounge was good, room itself was fine, because its so near to the airport you can get there quite easilybut also its very noisy even in the night

Who is the lady that works in Starbucks in the morning. When your first trying to get your eyes open in the morning, and not really awake yet, it is wonderful to see a (BIG SMILE) on a servers face saying good morning, what can I get started for you. The smile was genuine. Was not forced or fake. I ask the front desk girl who she was. Ofelia is the name of the Happy Morning Starbucks girl. It just starts your day better.

We purchased a room on the club floor that gives access to a private lounge area that has snacks, drinks, coffee and such all day The room is nice We've been traveling for 24 hours so a Comfy bed is essential. I got this deal on Expedia for $110 a night with breakfast and free internet. Can't go wrong.

Had a bad experience, the room wasn't cleaned before arrival. Bathroom supply was not provided until asked for. Not what I expect from a reputed star hotel. Would instead go to other hotels nearby at a cheaper cost, for a better experience.

Very good airport hotel. My room appeared to have been renovated recently and included many outlets. Airport shuttle runs every 15-20 mins. Breakfast in the lounge is very meager. I booked the most basic room and was upgraded to a suite as an SPG Platinum. All in all, the stay was well above average for an airport Sheraton and a great value.

Very comfortable. Attended a conference there. I could get the extra vegetables I eat easily. By joining the Sheraton Club, fresh fruit was always available. My room was comfortable, enough room to move around. Big bonus: the conference room wasn't freezing cold like in so many hotels. All the staff were kind and friendly. The food at the bar and in the restaurant was delicious and properly prepared.
