My sister ate at the restaurant and ordered the beyond burger (a vegan meat substitute) and they gave her a real meat burger and she ate it and didn t find out till after. This is the worst mess up you could make. Horrible service and we are really disappointed with the kitchen/wait staff. We will be taking with hotel management.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Great service! The front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and my guest. We even got a free upgrade to a suite with free wifi since it was my birthday! Room was wonderful and we actually received fresh linen for our bed. The only complaint I have is our room key all of sudden stopped working on us after leaving it in our pockets away from our cellphones. It happened 4 times. I think they should fix that issue. Overall, great stay! Highly recommend!
Just ok! Initially paid $120 ish for basic king rm. Decided to upgrade (for $50 more) in order to enjoy a few extra amenities on the club level floors (i.e. continental breakfast --which consisted of mostly pastries...there were boiled & fried eggs, toast 4 bread, coffee, oatmeal and a scary looking hot item that I'm unsure what it was-- also free wifi...yes you'll hv to pay for access to their wifi in their regular rooms). I also valet parked for $49 nightly. It was colder in LA the night of Oct 13th and 14th...only the cold air initially worked in room. Had to request twice for someone to fix AC unit so that heat wld blow out. The room was nice except 1 of my pillows had brown stain on it...so wondered if it was even changed from previous person (the bathroom was nice). I doubt I wld stay here again. They do provide shuttle service to/from airport.
Location is great only 5 minutes away from LAX. Check in was smooth however its $75 hold per stay when you check in. The rooms are big and modern but you can hear the planes at LAX. The shower are nice as well just low water pressure. The food at Sheraton is really good. The only con was when we checked in the hotel on our floor had cigarettes smell but it was gone the second night. Overall it's a really nice hotel and big with great customer service. I will recommend it and definitely will stay there again.
A very decent hotel for the price if you just need a place to sleep close to LAX. Downside is you can sometimes hear planes flying in - but it s not bad. They also have a club lounge with breakfast for platinum rewards members.
Would have given a 3.5 if there were an option. The beds are comfortable, the restaurant food is decent, the rooms are pretty quiet (or no one was on either side of us), and the building is pretty nice but they're missing a few key features: WiFi in the rooms is not free, some electrical sockets do not work, no refrigerator in the room, and the shower pressure is low. We called for toothpaste twice and was told someone was coming but they never did; however, I won't count it against them because the front desk is very busy as it's such a big hotel. Great view of the city at night and many places to eat nearby. Not such a bad place to be. The hotel was paid for by work, so take it with a grain of salt.
The rooms were super nice and spacious and clean, the food was terrible, the wait staff was very brusque but nice enough, the event spaces were super nice.
I have had a rough day and expect to have a great night at sheraton LAX. I called the guest service and ask for free wifi access code. He mumbled the password. I was asking for clarification and he shouted to me at the phone. This is truly an unacceptable behavior in highly service industry. This should be improved by Sheraton so that other people would not experience this.
Room was well appointed and clean. Beds were very comfortable and linens pressed. Will definitely consider staying here again! We did have a bit of trouble with the Wi-Fi. I'm sure if we had been staying longer it would have been taken care of.
Maybe large corporate sponsored employees expect this form of shakedown, but the weary traveler who runs a small business like myself does not! This hotel will nickel and dime you to death for a night of sleep! $75 deposit for incidentals, $40+ dollars (per day) to valet your rental car. $4 for a Coke at the gift shop. Did i mention that your own LTE data may not work well here (hmm, wonder why?). So you will probably have to pay for hotel wifi too! Bring lotsa cash because your going to need it...oh wait, they don't like cash here, only your credit cards will due!
Excessively noisy. Had to complain to staff. This is the 1st 4 star hotel I have stayed at that I can even hear anything coming from other rooms or hallways. So far 2 out of 2 days I have been woken up from noise before 730AM. Also, gift shop over charges. $10 for band aids, everything seemed to be 2 to 3 times more expensive. COLD bottled coffee for over $5, I normally pay $1.99 And Ricola cough drops that sell for. 99 are over $4. Parking sucks also. The only reasonable thing is The price for the room which is very nice.
Visited for the first time, the staff was friendly and the rooms weren't bad.
Cons: I arrived with my family late night and the smell of weed and cigar was strong right outside. If I pay $100+ for a room, I would assume the parking would be included. The parking right in front the hotel was $33. There aren't many parking right in front the hotel. I mean, its a BIG hotel. There is an overflow parking lot behind the hotel. I'd think those parking spots are at least included with the rooms. Nope! If you go in and out, it's just over $2. If you stay there over night and not go out, expect to pay around $18. I've stayed at other places that are smaller and better. I'd picked those ones over this hotel
One of the best of the LAX airport hotels! Comfortable clean rooms, great customer service through out hotel. Outstanding lobby area with bar, restaurant and Starbucks, has a unpretentious atmosphere, very welcoming! Good airport shuttle service Highly recommend!
Great amenities, as soon as we walked in Katherine made sure we enjoyed our stay here and Maria at the Club cafeteria was very attentive and sweet..all the staff was great so we highly recommend this hotel definitely coming back!!! =}
The room has everything. It has that "Timeshare" feel. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Perfect for late night snaking. This location has a Pizza place, and a Sandwich shop within walking distance...both open late!
When I checked in last night the gal at the desk said they had less than 30 percent occupancy. I called this morning and asked for a late check out. Just needed an extra hour or so. Nope we have no late check outs? 30 percent occupancy but you can t do a late check out? Cmon where s the customer service. My company buys TONS of rooms at this hotel. You are lucky anyone is staying at a hotel right now. Guess I will go to the Hilton.
Great location, close to the airport. The gym was nice. Everything you needed for your stay is nearby. Would recommend for anyone needing quick access to the airport.
Guests treated very poor customer service was very poor, my stay here was awful valet parking was a 5 star BUT the service from my check in to check out was awful was a 1 star. I completely was very unhappy with the customer service and number 1 MANAGEMENT needs a big improvement and customer service training
The location is very close to the airport and easy to find. Parking can be tough. Conference rooms are beautiful and spacious. The restaurant inside the hotel is amazing and delicious.
Desk service good, room nice, but shuttle bus service from airport spotty. Waited over 30 min for a shuttle, and it was completely full when it reached me at terminal 7. Meanwhile Marriott had seven shuttles in the same span of time.
Very nice hotel with wonderful staff. Just be aware that you will hear the planes taking off at the airport, but it's not enough to disturb your sleep.
Staying at the hotel for a conference and everything has been fantastic. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Pool is heated as advertised. There are perks to choosing not to have your room serviced daily. Will update at the end of our stay.
Our flight was delayed and the airline got us a room and meals at this hotel. The staff is friendly, the room is nice, bed is comfy, restaurant is good, pool is nice. On the negative side, the WiFi costs an extra 13 dollars and is only free at the lobby, and that connection is bit slow. Also the toilet seat was a bit dirty on the bottom.
Nice place although this is the second time on one trip, we were not given the bed size (king) we reserved months before. We were given 2 double beds. I won't be staying with Sheraton again for this reason.
The night before when I check in I call to ask about parking very rude lady awnser the phone getting upset cause am asking about the parking did not mention her name. When I got their Coco took care of could not find my reservation her English is poor not being very professional did not offer no updates to breakfast or etc when ask about my form of payment she was rude maybe she needs time off for a min I thought I was in a motel 6 my second bite in I took my family to six flags came back it was midnite kids were already sleeping got to my room the smoke alarm was beeping ever 2 min i guess when the battery is going out or tech problems did not let me sleep when I check out I told a Hispanic lady around 30 -35 old she had her hair in a bun did not have a name a tag no discount nothing for the inconvenience only thing she said was a simple sorry n are you ready to pay sir that's all she wrote .Very un professional very unsatisfactory I dont know about Sheraton.give me your contact owner
The hotel is old (as are most in SF) but the rooms were nice with new-ish looking furniture and decor, and we barely heard any neighbors from our 6th floor executive king room. What we did hear was a ton of street noise from Kearny/Sutter, even with ear plugs, so I will definitely ask for an inside room if we return.
Valet and staff were very nice. The hotel lobby and ballroom where my event was at was very Grand and plenty of room to sit down between events. I was only there for a professional event, so not sure about the rooms. Everything I experienced was great.
So far its been wonderful and the club level upgrade is worth it even if just for the amount of h2o my husband and I have consumed so far. The beds are some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've been in in a long time. I would definitely stay here again
