Always a pleasant stay here with a comfortable bed and super convenient location inside the airport. We flew out of Pearson early for our honeymoon and the welcome manager knew our stay was for a special occasion. There was a small bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room for us upon our late check in. What a speck touch and lovely surprise to start off our honeymoon.
Much appreciated and will definitely be back.

I was on the top floor. Room was quiet which was nice due to arriving to the hotel so late. Complementary water in the room was a plus.

Stayed after my flight was cancelled due to storm. It was a nice clean room perfect for a tired traveler.

We checked in really late and checked our really early. Room was clean and tidy.

Totally enjoyed my supper, swim, and had the best nights rest. I am gonna book there again for sure.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are super friendly. A little dry in the room. Restaurant mixed up my steak filet to a new York strip loin.

Criminal

Called to cancel a booking and they charged my credit card a second time rather than refunding me. Hotel manager and representative at cooperate refused to provide any assistance. The cooperate representative hung up the phone on me when I (politely) asked why I was charged a second time. Luckily, my credit card company has been great and disputed the charge. Do not give these people your credit card information. Its reasonable to deny the refund, criminal to do an unauthorized against someone's credit card. They literally tried to steal $160 from me.

Well appointted space and very convenient to airport.

Half hour ago I was asked by the waitress to leave the restaurant table because I was not consuming anything at that point was just working. After staying 2 days at the hotel I was planing in staying at the restaurant order dinner before my flight @ 8PM. I asked for the manager and she didn t know how to handle her blonde awful waitress. Awful experience never been treated like that in a restaurant in my life. 0 starts to both of you what a shame. Never be back. Thanks but not thanks.

Decent but I was surprised to find this missing something maybe a fridge? In its place is two years of dust.

Nice hotel attached to the Toronto airport. Has everything you need and location is perfect when flying out of the airport

Hotel needs a complete update pronto! Rooms have not been updated since they opened in the 80 s and it shows. Furniture is scuffed and carpets are stained both in room and throughout the 8th floor. The glasses in my bathroom were disgustingly spotty.

On the plus side... friendly staff, quick checkin and above average club lounge for a Sheraton.

Not much service required since it was a overnight stay due to a flight cancellation. Got in at 1am and left by 6am.

Room was adaquate, I do love the beds and pillows here. The adjoining room was very loud, more sound proofing between the rooms is sorely needed. Location is everything here, I hate waiting for Toronto airport hotel shuttles.

Excellent hotel to YYZ Airport. Great staff. The limo service and staff are some of the best. Very friendly!

Old, but clean room. Very convenient as it is connected directly to the airport. The staff could benefit from additional training. The room service food, on the other hand, was much better than expected. I also noticed that the hotel has a wider than usual selection of amenities available, possibly due to the type of guests normally staying, i.e., stranded travelers. Overall a pleasant stay on an otherwise a very grueling trip.

Facilities for price are not good.
There is no home bar in the room. There is no refrigerator.
There is no toothbrush in the bathroom.

Being in the airport is the biggest advantage.

Oh .. restaurant steak in the lobby is recommended. it's delicious!!

Conveniently located in terminal 3. Has a great gym and nice rooms.

Easy access to and from the airport and the UP train to downtown Toronto. There is a nice pub on the second floor and a standard hotel gym with ellipticals and dumbbells up to 30lb.

I always stay at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel when I have an early flight out of Toronto. The concierge lounge is very good, the rooms are always nice and the receptionist is friendly and helpful. The only thing that keeps me from giving the Sheraton is the hotel restaurant. The food is just okay and the service is slow.

What started as a bad experience with systems being down turned out to be one of the most happy experiences with customer experience front and center. Well, I guess that's what gains a return customer. To the manager at the Sheraton, to the folks at the lounge, to the GMs, you rock. Bless the merger, bless the planned upgrades to the property, love you all.

Nice but was definitely geared more towards business class rather than family. Justly so as by airport. Overall no complaints. Food was as expected to be pricey but was good. Was convienient as had early flight.

A knowledgeable and helpful staff too.

I love the club floor... My kids just see it as heaven there :) I love the cafe machine .. it's really worth it.

Good food.... I had the steak dinner my all time favorite.... highly recommended

Very convenient! Didn't even have to go outside to get our morning flight. Would definitely stay again. My only complaint was the price of the room but it included parking.

Great stay! Rooms are clean and spacious, staff very friendly, and food at the restaurant is delicious, although a little expensive, it's worth it!

The room was nice but the bed was not comfortable. Great location at the airport and handy to be able to jump on a train to get downtown.

Everything was fantastic! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is great for late night snacks or dinner, and the breakfast was very good. Our flight was delayed and although they had no overnight vacancy we were able to reserve a room for the day at a reduced rate. It was great that we did not have to leave the airport, they gym and the pool were an added bonus

Quite overpriced but the nachos were good, and the service was fair

1000s of people stranded, you can count on the Sheraton to charge $600 for 4 hours of sleep.

I was only at the Sheraton for the night, but the room was very nice and extremely comfortable.

Quiet under COVID with a limited lobby bar/food service but hot meals are available.

We had a couple drinks and nachos while we waited for our flight. The prices were reasonable considering it is the airport. The service was good. The nachos were amazing, if you add hamberger it is a chili, really really good.

5,95$/h for inroom wi-fi. Next time I will go to the Alt hotel instead.

Overpriced, but great facilities and decent rooms.
Truly the price does not match what you get here. If your business is paying for the room, then don't hesitate to stay here. If it is a personal trip, find another place as the price doesn't warrant the experience.
Negative elements aside, the room was clean and decently appointed.
The staff were cordial but not spectacular.
The kitchen hours were not clear nor did in room menu match what the kitchen was willing to provide (specifically for the late night menu).
The gym was really large, complete with standard fitness machines and then some. There is also a pool and I believe there was a hot-tub.

Hotel rooms are pretty dated. I guess being so close to the hotel they can get away with the outrageous pricing. Do yourself a favor and take the SkyTrain to the cheaper hotels.

Super convenient location. Very nice and new lobby, bar and rooms. No fee WiFi is my biggest complaint. It's $15. Even McDonald's has free Wi-Fi....

All the staff were fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, extremely polite, and efficient. My room was sparkling clean and the cheesecake and wine at the bar were delicious. However, I wasn't completely satisfied with the bed. Quite hard and very small which left a ton of empty space in the room.

Horrific hotel - called to try to book a room for my father who just flew from Hong Kong to get home in time to be there for his mothers passing - who by the way was only checking in at 11pm and having to check outat 5am in order to check in to his early morning flight and in a rude and disgustingly robotic tone the man quickly smirked and explained the "rate is the sama mam which is 360 plus tax so u can pay that or not" and when i expressed my shock he once again smirked over the phone and said "have a great night " CLICK and hung up.
I am shocked with their lack of empathy and understanding. Never will I stay nor will i suggest anyone to stay at a place like this.

Quick overnight stay for early flight. Slept well. Nice rooms.

Good: decent sized rooms, nice pool, nice gym, restaurant, sauna, steam room.
Bad: Dirty countertops in bathroom, musty hallways and I've repeatedly had poor guest experience with the front desk

Was there for a work dinner. Food and service was excellent as it has been in the past years.

I actually parked on the top floor of the parking garage and missed the entrance to the airport. Ended up going through the Sheraton to get to the airport.

I didn t know how to use their shower head, actually. But I spent very wonderful time. I ll visit there again.

Well located. Contrary to what one would have thought it was not noisy.

Gateway is ideally situated in Terminal 3 getting there after a long flight had trouble with Rail Shuttle from T1, but checking in took 5 min whichever was great. Room was standard, clean, and appreciated the extra plugs as sometimes it's hard to find plugs to connect all our devices. Ordered room service be aware it's expensive I had a chicken sandwich with fries and soft drink $37. When I looked at the bill they add a $7.50 delivery charge and a 15 percent gratuity. Neither of which was mentioned when I called, I suggest you use the restaurant at the lobby. At check out I thought it was fast, the agent mentioned that she just got in and she hadn't logged into the system and that she would email my statement a day letter still haven't received any statement, now I have to call and follow-up ....frustrating

$800 plus a night is insane for this dated, dusty hotel. Stay at the Alt next door, as it is cleaner, and half the price, pet friendly and is still on the monorail

The parking's entrance can easily be missed If you're going too fast (but it is clearly labelled) on the departures/arrivals signage. Once in. It is located at the very top (not covered) but it does leave you right by the back entrance and at check-ins desks level.

Service was excellent. It is an older building, but they have kept it up nicely.

Nice hotel in the airport. Expensive for What you get. Don't expect any breakfast except coffee in the room. The douvets are very nice and the beds are comfy however if you have trouble with sleep you may have issues. They iron and starch their sheets so every time i moved in the night they made loud noises. They were not soft at all. Rip the sheets off and just use the duvet would be my recommendation.
