Nice atmosphere , love the buzz of this place, a few good places to eat in and around the hotel
Its a headache if you are waiting for your car to get it from valet , heavy traffic in main interface
I was there for a conference and networking event. I also stayed as an overnight guest. The rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is huge and has a number of amenities and restaurants on site. The service from all staff I encountered was exemplary. The conference services, including meals, was also top notch. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
Windows had the hand prints of someone recently banged up on the glass - it didn't help the view.
Attended STM 32 workshop. The best experience place ever visited.
I don't stay at a hotel to be interrogated. If I check in as "Big Dig" McGraw" then that's how I expect to be addressed. I was questioned and made to wait. Aside from that, the service was excellent.
It is spectacular, but it would be necessary to speak Spanish.
I love this hotel! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautiful, the view is stunning, and the location is really central and convenient. Looking forward to coming back.
Nice facilities (bath; huge flat screen tv; comfy bed) - but lots of additional costs - wifi is not free and international calls from your room phone are about $6.00 a minute - calling the bank in NZ to unlock a credit card so we could have money in Toronto cost $277 CAD altogether - the 25 minute call (we were put on hold to VISA) alone cost $138 CAD. However, when a complaint was made about poor advertising of real costs per minute, we were given a 50% discount and free wifi for our eight day stay (and THAT'S when we figured out that 'complimetary' didn't mean 'free'!).
The location is really convenient at downtown, and close to the attractions we planned to go. There is a long underground path in downtown toronto, you can walk to a lot of places. We were lucky found it right under the hotel, and used it to walk to the nearest mall instead of walkin outside in the rain.
I loved everything about this hotel. Nothing makes a stay better than super comfy beds
Went there for breakfast, food was good can't say the same about the service. Got there and the hostess said she would come back with 2 more menus and never did. The waiter didn't even notice we were missing menus. One of the coffee cups at the table had to be replaced as there was lip stick on the side. Good food but needs improvement on service.
Downtown, every thing nearby, rooms are clean and comfortable bed
Had company Christmas party there - nice enough venue with decent food.
Spent two nights. Room was nice and clean. No fridge in room. Indoor outdoor pool was cool in thought until you swim outside in the winter. Lots of options for food around the hotel so you do not have to order room service. Valet parking is a must at the front door. It is a night mare to get your vehicle back during normal check out time took 30m after check out for them to bring my car around.
Had a party, and the dinner was delicious! And nice big hall.
Great downtown location, fast check in process, with a comfortable bed.
Hotel is fine, but quality not as good as it used to be. Wi-Fi doesn't work. No notepads/ pens/ proper tea for meetings.
Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, also I've always loved their lobby haha.
Other than that, it's not a bad place to spend the night. Would love to take advantage of the amenities next time I'm there.
Great experience! The hotel itself was better than expected. Despite the fact that it is an older building and the hotel caters more to business travelers, it is updated throughout and has some charm. But what made our stay really memorable, was their friendly staff that was ready to go above and beyond for their guests.
The door men are a cut above. If your heading to a unknown location, they will go the extra mile with a map.
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is amazing and kid friend.
I hated the way they handled the vallet parking. Their system sucks and the concierge is not friendly as they questioned my ticket not being paid but actually i paid it. It was so annoying because they commanded me to go to the front desk again to get confirmation of payment. Why dont they just have a syatem for checking the bar codes or number on my ticket that i already paid. With my hand full of heavy stuffs.
I solemly write this review with tired eyes and dreary mind. 'Tis 12 hours and 51 minutes of the clock ante meridiem. My beleaguered soul lightens heartedly in the solace of this, my final Google review of the day.
Ah, Sheraton of Toronto, to what shall I compare thee? A Summer's day? No. The winter of my discontent? Alas, nay. The rowdy, boisterous, and turbulent bane of my existence? Yea.
Should you venture to bed at the Sheraton, be sure to pack an extra portal for your stay. The host provided door is made of veritable paper and, thereby, allows all and any sounds of passersby to resonate fully into the quieted quarters of your comely, comfy, and cozy camp.
Long story short: you can hear every door close, every elevator beep, and every conversation happening. I had to go but earplugs at the local convenience store.
Huge and nice hotel in the heart of Toronto! The breakfast is just sensational! The rooms are cozy and comfortable!
Conference room was a little dingy and outdated. Issues with technology
I stayed there and I worked there for 6 months so the place is literally centre point of Toronto downtown right in front of Nathan Philip square it s one of the best earning (top 10) in North America and has one of the biggest banquet hall and meeting room it s so big you have no idea it s has more than 10 entrances you can get down to PATH from there and has so many option to eat to choose from , the in hotel restaurant like bnb I don t like , I love Quinn s steak house bar and especially the 43 floor lounge it got one of the best views.
This is my favorite hotel in Toronto
It is very close to everything and has a great indoor/ outdoor pool,
Service was impeccable. But even with an updated interior it feels tired and dated. The rod in our closet was broken and dangling. The paint job lacks attention to detail. The location is alright and we enjoyed an upgrade to a room on a higher floor with a view of Nathan Phillips square.
We would only stay again if there was points availability. Not worth the high cost.
Nice hotel, attended a conference which utilized the property.
A major venue for conferences in Downtown Toronto. Mature in age but not too tired.
Superb hotel with friendly staff and great care, great professionalism of the entire team, from housekeeping to receptionists and hostesses. The occupied room was very spacious, with impeccable comfort and a relentless cleanliness. Nice view of Queen St.'s buildings I had a great time.
Hotel very well located to discover the city. Room in the decor a little old but clean and functional. Restaurant rather average. But great service and amazing views!
Great locatio, right next to eatons. Very clean and friendly staff
Had a decent coffee at the cafe friendly staff and not terrible on the Budget
Super bad customer service, it was impossible for me to order in room dinning after waiting 10 minutes on the phone 2 days in a row. Also, I sent a package to the hotel and they couldn't find it until the very last day of my stay (when I didn't need it anymore) even though it arrived at the hotel the previous week. At 4 star hotels usually the give you the package when you check in. Terrible.
Gorgeous hotel with a convenient underground parking lot right in front of Toronto city hall
Beautiful hotel. Seems like a great convention space. Directly connects to the PATH
Very impressed, the bed and pillows where awesome. Room was very clean, staff where outstanding polite and very helpful! Looking forward to coming back
Hotel was great. Easy access to Eaton centre through the path. Kept very clean. Location is close to everything in downtown. Great choice if you're looking for a hotel in downtown Toronto.
Super well located. One block from the shopping center
Perfect location with a great view at the heart of the city
Fantastic hotel well decorated for Christmas. Great central location downtown across from city hall. Clean rooms. Great views from the rooms. Breakfast and appetizers available for an extra charge and worth the upgrade.
Massive upscale property in the heart of downtown Toronto. The amenities and service were excellent.
Great rooms, very slow elevators for a conference of our size.
Good location near the subway. Professional staff and great space for a large social event.
A lovely five star property. Good dining joints. Centrally located.
Personnel is Very welcoming and professional. Rooms are big but slightly on the old side. However, we booked a room with continental breakfast, and although i totally Understand how covid affected operations, we had a box with a croissant, More
Nice hotel but the check-in was terribly long... 30 min. before being serviced; very
disorganized team.
Always a great experience when attending a conference or just meeting friends after work. Great customer service and great place for internet connectivity when you are in the need of quick boost
Good hotel in central Toronto.
All sights are within walking distance.
Nice hotel, unfortunately there is no fridge but beautiful view of the CN tower. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Great location, incredible bed. Good pool, you can't get picky downtown, not many hotels have pools. This one is big enough and has a bar. Unfortunately can't bring outside drinks, not even coconut water :/ so if you get thirsty you gotta pay. Staff super friendly. Everything very comfortable. Washroom could've been cleaner but it was ok. Would definitely recommend. Did I mention location? 10/10
Only went there for an event but it's spacious and clean
Awesome views. Larger rooms than I expected.
Modern bathroom and awesome makeup lights around the mirror. Very friendly front desk staff. Large lobby, and perfect location
Not impressed. Sheraton Hotel did not accommodate some physical requirements of a guest even though it had been part of original reservation several months ago. No attempt to rectify or compensate. General staff are good but managers don't seem to comprehend legal issues.
The lobby is spacious and they were projecting the soccer game there. Very fun atmosphere
A bland but adequate business hotel. No luxury or style, but no problems.
Cleaning staff was extremely rude and all around hated life. We had confetti that was shot in the air, required vacuuming. Staff was telling us they will call security to assess the situation. Instead of actually entering the room and looking at it themselves. All our mess was a simple vacuuming required, no spills or damage.
Great hotel. Excellent location .. a bit noisy in the rooms on the main road
Great room, clean, excellent service. Restaurants on site. Close to entertainment, would stay again.
