sheraton broadway plantation Review

Nice resort, very secure, and 100% about customer service. Wanted a change of scenery for the holidays. All Covid precautions were in place. Staff called and check on you to make sure needs were met. Quiet facility. My room had a view of the lazy river.

Amazing Resort , clean grounds , pool , mini golf. room for walking . Inside rooms are super clean , decorated well. Comfortable , roomy..great place to RELAX. KUDOS SHERATON !

We have stayed at this hotel about 6 or 7 times ovwr the past 5 years and recently I have to say the service, staff and hotel has gone downhill big time. We used to recommend it to everyone but not anymore.

This place was awesome! We stayed in April 13' for a week, my 4 kids and husband. It was a 2 bdrm villa in the palmetto section on the 4th floor. They have plenty of activities in the gated community. The staff was not too bad, you have your good and bad. I do have to say they take pride in this community, not one piece of paper was out of place. The timeshare meeting was a nightmare, but what do you expect of it. We didnt buy timeshare... but we will be back. I love Sheraton so im pretty sure I wouldnt stay anywhere else. So spacious and wonderful. I recommend for families and anyone who loves comfort and luxury.

I had an inconvenience and it turned out to be a big ordeal. I had to speak with the Front Desk Manager. I asked to speak with the General Manager but that person already left for the day, therefore, I spoke with Sam. She was not helpful. The problem could have been resolved smoothly but It was not handled in a professional manner. Sam acted like she did not care at first, but after my voice tone on the phone went from being concerned to getting angry that is when she helped me. In a nutshell, housekeeping left our door open. When my family and I come back from shopping, we found the door slightly open. Our beds were made and we got clean towels. We are grateful for the clean room. However, we are not inviting unwanted people to have access to our stuff, money, or food. My other concern was safety for my family. When I told her about this all she said was she will report this to the housekeeping manager and she wanted to get off the phone. It was around check in time and she was with a guest. I would have been more understanding if she told me that from the beginning. Sam asked if she can call me back. When Sam called me back she informed me about her surrounding. Also, on our conversation, she did not ask how can they make it right. I had to address my concerns again before she was willing to help. She had to call me back again and by our third phone call, I was given a late check out with a $40 to eat at the Grill. However, my family is a party of 8. We could not eat with that amount. I went downstairs to the front desk to get this resolved. She did increase the amount of credit of $100.00 but was still billed for the difference. (The Grill was closed when I agreed to the credit, I didn t know the price ranges for the food.) I went to discuss the bill but she said she could not do anything else for us. Nevertheless, I will not go back and stay there again. My rating is not on property, but it s for the poor service I had with Sam. That is why people need to speak with the General Manager not a Front Desk Manager. She lacked professionalism, listening skills and understanding.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and I was very pleased with our visit. I would recommend this location to others. It was practically central to everything we wanted to see, the grounds are lovely, the room was clean and well kept, and anyone we ran into was very friendly.

Absolutely love this resort. 2nd time staying here. Peaceful and relaxing. With all of the pools and the lazy river you can enjoy relaxing in warm weather with a light breeze. Definitely need the sunscreen. The grounds are well kept and the multiple ground pools around the villas have wildlife, a fountain and variety of plants including magnolia trees and geese. Since this is a resort you do have a fully functional kitchen to make meals there or eat at any of the multiple restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. Washer and dryer in each unit. They do have a mini convenient store but not much in it other than snacks and movies to rent. They have a bar at the pool area that does have a lunch menu. Like I said we love this beautiful resort and will most definitely be back.

They have no room service, the front disk manager is rude and the room is outdated.

Staff friendly, rooms clean. Pool always crowded with loud little kids and myrtle sucks.

Fantastic facilities, pools are great, and there is sand volleyball, tennis courts, and a small miniature golf course. Staff is super friendly, the rooms are modern and very well maintained. The outside is very resort-like, well maintained and clean. Within walking distance of the Broadway at the Beach and a short drive to everything in Myrtle Beach.

Only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the carts used to remove garbage or linens have hard wheels and are very loud when being towed. Recommended they put rubber wheels on those.

Amazing property! The staff was very nice. Also helpful. I love the lay out of the villas. Plenty of room and clean. The grounds were kept well. The pool and splash zone area were superior. This is a first class family resort and I plan on staying again.

The resort is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained. The rooms are in excellent condition. They are updated every five years.

Great for families, there is a separate water play area for kids. Apartments are spacious and nicely laid out. The 'fun police' who guarded the pool was a bit fierce, she would not allow certain types of balls saying that they're were plenty of balls, pool toys, noodles you could request from the activity centre. Spotless resort that you would expect from Sheraton. Within walking distance to Broadway at the Beach.

The WiFi was amazing, the pool was fun, everything was ecessable and really affordable. The only thing I didn't like about it was the struggle to get to the beach. And the Atlantic Ocean is way rougher and has a really high tide on the beach. Usally our family goes to Panama City Beach every yes in Florida. Which the beach is in the Gulf of Mexico. It's much calmer and crystal clear so you can see the bottom. nothing like myrtle beach. But it was still amazing bit were never going back again.

This is a great place to vacation. Service and response are spectacular. As an SV owner, the only thing I would change or ask is that rooms being turned over are given a white glove inspection. Our master bathroom needed attention to a growing mold problem in the shower. Vents needed to be cleaned as well. HHS was prompt and direct with showing up to resolve these issues, which I never should have encountered. Just need to elevate the cleaning standards on turnover. 3rd year staying here and every year i have the same problem upon checkin. Otherwise, all ammeneties were great! The people working on site were awesome! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with 3 children and really appreciated the scheduled activities. We were accommodated with early checkin as well. The kitchen really works for our family. First stop is always to walmart to stock up. Plenty of dresser and closet space and the washer/dryer are extremely useful for packing light. Near the beach, next to Broadway at the Beach with entertainment, shopping, and great restaurants and easy access to major roadways. Pirate ship, tall waterslide, lazy river, and pools were awesome, free from jellyfish, undertow currents and sharks. Ideal for young children like my 7 month old, 4 and 5 year old. Lots of activities to get involved in onsite. Basketball court, tennis, shuffle board, a small playground, minigolf, and a beach volleyball court. My kids will enjoy this resort for years to come! TV s are awesome along with the free wifi! Movie night out for children starts extremely late, after 9 p.m. should probably start nlt 8p.m. but 7:30 would be ideal. Not certain if there are any adult social activities or events, but haven't heard of or come across any. But definitely a great place to come for relaxation.

Rooms clean and beds comfortable. I wish the kid's pool was open later than six. Have no negative feedback... nice friendly stay.

this is the beach I've been to when I was 1im 9 now I've only been to that beach once I have good memory they have good hotels a big beach people died there just be careful they have pools to I think its because if your scared of sharks if you live in south Ohio up to the middle of Ohio it should take you form 8 to 9 hours to get to SC but 12 to 13 hours to get to myrtle beach I live in Ohio that's how I know that's how long it takes to get there. my grandma lives in SC myrtle beach is 3 hours away from my grandmas house by by.

Great villas with plenty of options and very friendly staff. Great for all ages with plenty of activities on site and close to tons of entertainment and only minutes from the ocean!

We booked a 1 week stay here for just my husband and I and we fell in love with this place. We plan on bring our kids back down here. This place is right in the middle of everything.

Quiet and relaxing. The room I stayed in had no issues clean and well furnished. Plenty of bathroom towels. The staff was helpful in explaining the billing during both check-in and during check-out. Conveniently located near Broadway shops and reasonable distance from the broadwalk on the beach.

Plenty to do at the Sheraton and Central hub to anything else surrounding

Also the shower curtain is missing three hooks so they just folded it over and hooked the extra onto the others, will ask to have the soiled smelly mildew one replaced. Sitting at the kitchen table you can see food and dirt between the stove and cabinet. The rug in the living room area is a trip hazard and so very small, the pullout bed mattress is overly used my guest didn t sleep well on it, I even sat on it as it was very uncomfortable in minutes. This isn t a place for young adults more for families and the elderly.

Very clean and quiet. Only thing I would suggest is adding an indoor hot tub where the heated indoor pool is located.

Staff friendly even though they had much to deal with. Pipes froze in building. Indoor pool heater broke. No inside spa. Would have liked to have another resort nearby offered to swim. Their outside pools, water play area for kids in season look amazing. Area close to everything. All in all a great resort with nice activities offered

We stayed in a two bedroom unit as an exchange with RCI. The unit was very clean and everything was modern and in great condition. The employees of the resort were all very friendly and helpful. The linens and bedding were exceptional! We rented bicycles and rode every day. The beach was close by, but far enough away so that we did not have any noise or disturbance. The building is well built, and we found it to be very quiet.

Couldnt check in until nearly 6 pm. Pesky geese all over that are nesting and territorial. We like animals but we can't let our son walk around outside because we're afraid he's going to get pecked. Geese squawk during early hours. Pushy timeshare staff with hectic sales floor. Clean rooms with adequate wifi. Good parking and easy access

After being invited to a preview. We were told that we did not qualify to get a viewing because we were not booked at a hotel in Myrtle beach.
Not only did we not get the tour . We did not get our deposit back that we gave. No one called us to even offer any other information. I would steer clear of these people since they will be profiling people to see if they qualify to There standards.

My husband and I along with two of our children checked in 8/17. Everything seemed ok on the surface. I wanted to take a nap so I laid down in the master bedroom and realized once I pulled the sheets back and was about to get in bed there was a string of hair. I am funny about that kind of thing so I noticed it pretty quick. I assumed maybe the person changing the sheets might have lost a strand. Then I hop in the shower that night before I got in I was wondering why is the soap bar open? I always bring my own soap but while in there I notice the shampoo bottle wasn t full nor in place so I grab the soap to toss and while picking it up there was hair on the soap. Like really seriously someone else s soap they used in the shower I am now using which looks like the same hair that was in the bed. So of course I am highly in my feelings now and thinking maybe the sheets were never changed. So I call the front desk to explain the situation, hmmm no apologies no sorry not a care at all. I think if I would have stayed on the phone any longer we would have been arguing back and forth. I wasn t gonna change the room with my kids already in bed it s 12:04am while I am writing this. I didn t like the response from the front desk, they did send sheets for me to change our bed but I will not stay here again. My first thought was Hilton but my husband decided on Sheraton. Never again Hilton would have empathize and handled the situation way better by at the least apologizing for the housekeeping oversight and neglect.

Nice place clean rooms one shower wasnt working but repairs were quick and done as soon as I called. Smoking areas are a nice addition as to keep the family environment. Lots of bugs though. Gnats, mosquitos and some ground critters even some roaches. Would like to see more hot tubs they fill up quick some days.

Found millipedes in the kitchen and they had Crawled into bags left sitting on the floor. Sheets didn t fit the bed, not fitted sheets. Pillows were so over used they were flat. Carpet in living room and bedroom was worn out. At the lazy river and pool we were bitten by red ants that seemed to be everywhere. Many of the stone tiles around pool area where loose and definitely a safety hazard. What is the maintenance fee being used for?

Used to be a great place to spend a weeks vacation with the family. Since Marriott took over service has gone down and they are all about getting more and more money out of you. Own 3 properties here and feel used having to pay a service fee if I go back more than once. Think my maintenance fees and owning there entitles me to get my 3 weeks before being accessed a service charge. Also be mindful of the owners meetings.ake sure you fully understand what you're getting. Had all intentions of selling off 2 properties next year but found out we couldn't because they loved all the properties under one contract. Cost us 10,000.00 to separate one from the rest. Of course now we are stuck paying even more than we were.

Clean, quite, very spacious, the manager was overly friendly with my husband, but the staff is very professional and polite, the suite is pure perfection i will definitely reccomend to anyone who want to get away without spending a fortune. You will not be let down.

The SPG membership they offer is s total SCAM!!!!! LOCALS BEWARE!!!!! Do not sign up for the free tickets to Capt. George s and Legends in Concert located at the Friendlys restaurants... it s just a trick to SCAM you. They get you in and lie to you about points and vacation packages and then never deliver!!! Tried SEVERAL times to talk to them but nobody will call us back. Trust me... they don t care about making you happy... they just want your money! In the process of reporting them to the BBB and Attorney General!!!

Beautiful place. We are owners and the place is walking distance from Broadway. There shopping 2 blocks away for items you left at home. Lazy river, 2 pools and a huge children s area.
