sheraton broadway plantation Review

Really nice rooms. Was super clean when we walked into our suite. Staff was really friendly and prompt when we asked for extra towels. Pool was nice and conveniently close to our room. My kids loved the kids pool with all the slides felt really assured at the pool due to several life guards and security guards walking around. Great place to stay with families. You are 5 minutes away from the beach and 5 minutes away from the board walk. Definitely will be back!

Two bedroom is plenty big and the amenities are spectacular.

Family friendly villas, everything you need to be comfortable. Villas to go with the family has everything that is needed.

All in all this was a great place. Even with it not being located on the beach, the location was central. The room was picture perfect and stocked adequately except for tp. The staff was happy to help in any way possible. I will possibly visit again.

It's a convenient location to Broadway at the Beach and a lot of the North Myrtle Beach area. We stay here regularly and have always found the rooms to be consistently clean and appointed. Staff is just okay. Don't get drawn into their predatory and condescending sales schemes.

The location of this facility is wonderful and the resort is very pretty, we purchased a unit in 2000, we went back this year in July after having not been there in several years, and were sorely disappointed, we were put in a unit that was very tiny, nothing like we were shown when purchased and nothing like we have ever stayed in before. We were told there was nothing that could be done about our dissatisfaction. the toilet ran nonstop, the bathroom had no working vent and the door would not lock, one of the dining room chairs was broken and had to be put aside, so as not to be used and we killed bugs everyday that we were there. Upon reporting these problems on day 3 of our vacation during our owners meeting, Someone came and repaired the toilet and put some glue on the chair. However, the insect problem continued EVERY day. There was trash left on the stairs for 2 days and in the grass near our room there were men playing a bean bag game and drinking alcoholic beverages the last 3 days of our stay. I will NEVER return to this resort. What they portrayed in the beginning sure has gone down hill in the past few years!!!!!!!

Clean, pools, ,entertainment, close to the Board walk and beach.

Beautiful hotel! Clean, beautiful landscapes, and lot of activities.

Been to the place for a long tine but feel quality and some management communication is not as good as it used to be...esp when we had to move to another place due to bad water pressure, assumption the place had to be clean because of a no show, etc.

Awesome resort with the most accommodating staff. Short drive to the Boardwalk and beach; easy walk to Broadway at the Beach!

Very nice and helpful front desk. Accommodations very clean, well maintained and designed well. Concierge and event people helpful with available shows and things to do along with purchasing our tickets in advance. Over all a very pleasant week considering it being off season and cold.

We checked in around 2 am and our unit was 415. It was very clean, and I'm super picky. And I was in awe at the amenities! It has it own water park, several pools including an indoor heated pool and lazy river. It has several outdoor playgrounds and hammocks, basketball court, tennis court, shuffleboard, arcade, a mini golf course! You really don't even have to leave here lol. It's a short drive to the beach and right at broadway on the beach with all the restaurants and shops and things! Great place to stay! The only thing I would change is the showerhead in the guest bathroom. It needs more water pressure and it's too short for anyone over 5'6"

Well appointed condo with all the amenities of home including washer and dryer, full kitchen with all utensils as well as pots and pans. Around the resort there is a lazy river heated pool, mini golf, pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, a basketball court and a kids playground. We stayed in building 16 which is a short walk to all the activities in a 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6. The location of the resort is central to just about every major attraction and restaurant. Would defintely stay here again.

The staff is great and the accommodations are wonderful.

Plans all day for any family member, much to do on your own. The area offers anything you can think of for entertainment!

Owner for 20yrs, they didn't have our reservation that was paid for 6 months in advance, the floors were dirty, the toilet leaking on floor, the dishwasher was leaking , the neighbors smoking pot on balcony, the staff smoking cigs outside our room, maintenance and cleaning staff have gone downhill since the resort sold . Will never go back...

Myrtle Beach, Broadway on the beach,shows,this resort near everything cool.Only bummer is the theater and Dragon Lair put put at Broadway on the beach is nothing but rubble now.

This place was awesome !!! A few places could ve used some attention but overall it was wonderful !!! The room was spacious the views were great, the staff were helpful and the perks were plentiful. We loved the pools and mini water park inside my family and I will be back next summer for sure

Although we requested a certain floor and a specific place I guess customer service can only provide you with 1 or the other. First floor where we didn't want to be, but close to the pool. Staying here the last few years we have seen it go downhill. Thinking of selling very soon and saving myself the hassle of being disappointed Everytime.

It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in...loved the activity department !!!! Condos were very roomy and very clean ! Felt very safe there as well as its like a gated community! Love that it's close to shopping and dining and very close to the beach (without the beach price) Very well staffed and they were all very helpful and friendly !

Stayed at a one bedroom suite. Bathroom has 2 sinks, big bathtub and the toilet is private. Big TVs in the living room and bedroom. Kitchen has microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher, oven/stove. Washer and dryer included. Has a big balcony where u can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a view of a little lake. Clean, quiet and ample parking. Staff are friendly.

Unit is very nice, pleasant kitchen , but not set up for cooking ,only 1 fry pan.Bedroom is pleasant, Jacuzzi is a pleasant plus, liked the walk in shower.Pools are great and lazy river is great!

Avoid this place if you want to stay healthy. We are in a pandemic and the least these people can do is clean the rooms properly. Upon our arrival the unit smelled. You could see food and fingerprints everywhere. The bathroom smelled like urine and shower leaked all over the floor. We requested to be moved to a new unit, just our luck it was a firetruck outside when we pulled up to the new unit. The building was experiencing a flood and water was everywhere. We could not get on to the elevator. When we checked out, the resort charged us 4 times on our credit card statement and failed to rectify it. Stay away from this place, run as fast as you can.

Horrible Experience. Long check in even after paying before arrival. The rooms were in need of updating. We checked in the day before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving morning I woke up to an alert on my phone telling me my bank account had a new withdraw of almost $800. The withdraw was made by Sheraton. Contacted the front desk who said their system did it but they would be reimbursing it back to me. We stayed 3 nights and the money still wasn't given back. They said I'm not the only one it had happened to. In addition they didn't satisfy me in any way with a resolution.

Amazing time. This is a wonderful resort for families with children. All kinds of stuff to do on the resort itself. Broadway at the beach is within walking distance.

Went for a time share presentation. It was ok but did not like having to explain to 3 people we were not interested.

Awesome pool and activities like mini golf or ping pong.

Nice, clean, comfortable, & secure community. Outdoor/indoor pool, lazy river, & snack bar. Only criticism is that there should be a restaurant & mini market on the property. However, Broadway on the Beach, an amusement/restaurant/shopping/water rides are close by.

What has happened to this place? I am an owner and have been for many years. I always look forward to coming here for a relaxing vacation. This year, however, has been the exception and I'm only on day 2! In the wee hours of the morning between 12:30 am until 3:00 am . . . there was a lot of noise outside from the parking lot. Long story short: there was a "gang" (probably from 10-20 young adults) congregated right off the parking lot behind Bldg 15 and a small grassy area (not in the pool area). There were laughing, running, being noisy and disrespectful. I had to call Security 3 times! They drove here, got out twice, but I never saw them approach the group. Each time I called, they sounded frustrated with ME for calling. They were useless!!! Actually, they were probably scared. Can't say I blame them. I finally turned my TV on at 2:15 am just to drown out the noise and when I checked at 3:00 am, they had finally disbursed. Do I really need to start worrying about my safety now????? NOT what I signed up for nor what I paid for. I doubt that these people were even staying here. Makes you ask the question, if they are friends of security. I don't need to be treated like this. I guess I will think twice now before coming back. Maybe you should, too!

The place is quiet and well kept. Wish it was on the beach though.

We booked here for two weeks. The carpets were filthy!! They don't do a mid-week clean, so we were told we had to use the washer and dryer to clean our own sheets . Since when does Sheraton have this policy. After the first week, they started Jack hammering on the kiddie pool. We were never told this was going to take place, nor did they even apologize. Not the pool experience we expected! We were very dissatisfied with our stay here!

We've stayed here three times now, and accommodations are consistently good. Rooms are clean, there are activities for children and adults, and all sorts of attractions nearby. My only complaint is the one ply toilet paper.

Now this is a place to vacation. Family and children friendly. Close proximity to the beach. Convenient parking. Had a great time and will be going back.

Close to the action.. yet a perfect secluded retreat

This resort is the equivalent of a motel 6. If you are looking for any traditional amenities, luxuries or even a clean good condition room do not stay here. We have been using these chains for years all around the world. This is the worst experience we have had yet. DO NOT COME!

Great place for families. Safe and lots of fun for the kids!

We are staying here for 5 nights. We have a one bedroom condo in building 2. The check in was easy. The grounds look great. I think there are newer and bigger TV's in the living room and bedroom. We have a nice view of a pond with turtles and geese. Why not 5 stars? We are staying in a condo that has a lock off. Sheraton can look off a one bedroom from our condo so they can rent it. We didn't need 2 bedrooms but the trouble is that we can literally everything they do and say in their kitchen/ dining area. They aren't being loud, but it's the thinnest wall/ door. I will ask in the future in the condo I get is part of a lock off. I understand the finances part of this, but it hurts the overall experience. 4 stars.

We didn't know it was a time share location until we arrived. Beware if you dislike time shares. The rooms were very attractive and we'll stocked except for coffee. There was decafe but no regular and none to be found on the premises. Who doesn't provide regular coffee? The toilets were so loud when flushed they woke sleepers. Other guests could be heard over us and outside our door. The pool water was too warm. Lots of families with children. No restaurants on premises. NO maid service the entire stay. I would say this was a no for us at over $300 a night.

Very nice facility and great apartments. There is a great pool, tennis courts, volleyball, mini golf, basketball and shuffle board. Everything is open until 11pm. In the rooms there is a washer and dryer.

Best RCI trade in years - beautiful n clean resort no wonder we can only trade here every 4 years- RCI 3 week owners for over 36 years

Quiet. Close to Broadway at the Beach and restaurant locations. Nice resort villas. Indoor & outside pools. Friendly people.

My wife and I always enjoy time in Myrtle Beach ,weve stayed in many other places now we are rental owners and the Sheraton plantation is awesome we have enjoyed all the amenities and the villa se stayed in is more than spacious ... Our new home away from home.... The staff and surrounding our very nice

Denitrice was extremely helpful in locating my husband's favorite ball caps which he had left in our villa at the resort. Our sincere thanks to this outstanding employee. Look forward to staying here again!!

As a owner we were disappointed. I know they have no control over covid,but there were ways to sanitize the golf clubs,and balls between folks but no golf,no activities,elevator music instead of beach music. Balcony and halls to rooms were full ofspuders,webs,and bugs. We cleaned our balcony of all the webs. The paint is chipping in the hallways,and really needs painting. Many cigarette cigarette stubs on sidewalks and parking lots. This place has really gone downhill from when we bought here here. The pillow top mattress mattress is very uncomfortable. Corporate really reAlly needs to work on playing beach music instead of elevator music especially atabeach resort. In spite of our complaints we had a good time of our own making. The owners deserve a refund on their assessment charges since they were shorted of all activities during covid.

Room was not clean, floor was not vacuumed and pubic hair from previous guests in shower. Smh

We have owned here for over 10 years and every year we have another issue when we come to check in. Now we find out this morning when we come to the pool that you have to pay to rent a cabana, $90 a day or $200 a week, after we pay over $1,200 a year for maintenancenance fees. DO NOT BUT A TIMESHARE FROM THIS PLACE IT IS A RIP OFF!

The staff has been nice but not happy with the room. We found toe nails and the floors were dirty. The Kitchen floors were gritty with sand. When I made a complaint someone came to my room and said sorry but never
CLEANED THE ROOM . If the floors are that dirty it makes you think what else wasn't cleaned. The Gas grills are one between every 4 buildings and broken so that was disappointing I called the front desk and it just keeps getting passed along to someone else and never getting any real help.

We were disappointed that the pool snack bar was closed. No where to eat on the property. Nothing to do on site. The pillows were flat, mattress was very firm. Not what we were expecting. We left earlier than we planned.

The rooms were not bad. We had a flood due to the washer and maintenance came by quickly to fix it and cleaned up. Do to the pending hurricane there were not many activities on the resort. We booked the snorkel with the stingrays activities but that was a bust. It was more like wading with the stingrays. Very misleading. Overall not a bad experience. Its a 50/50 on coming back. Broadway at the boardwalk was good. There is plenty for everyone. The Ripley's aquarium was ok. Not really worth the ticket price.

I was a visitor there for a time share presentation. The lady who checked my party in to the presentation was rude. She seemed judgemental when she found out that we were Mrs & Mrs. She said "no Mr? Everyone else was very nice and inviting.

Really enjoy coming here it's our 5th or so year in a row!! Kids love the pool!

Stayed here 4 times and each stay was wonderful... It's worth the price and I LOVE IT!!!

This place is awesome! Relaxed surroundings, gated community with guarded gate. Very secure and peaceful feel. Mini golf, indoor/outdoor pools with kiddie water park.

2nd time staying here. This time decided on a two a bedroom villa unit 10. Happen to get room on first floor which was great until the people above us made so much noise for two days. It literally sounded like they were dragging furniture all day. Awful. The room was not clean as well. There was candy under coach, the glass on the bathroom door still had handprints. Also the heat was not working when we got there so we freezed for an hour upon checking in.

Plesent resort with helpful staff. Clean rooms and many ammenties. Would visit again.

We have gone every year for 12 years and half of our stays we have dealt with sickness. Dirty room, pool and facilities. This year was the first year we did not stay at the resort and none of us got sick. coincidence? I'm skeptical. I wish that this resort would step up their upkeep.

Not really impressed. Asked for a pizza cutter and pan first night they said they would bring it up needless to say on the last day still didn't see it. A towel we got in the master bedroom had holes in it plus a big brown stain on it.

Great place for our family of 6. The two bedroom suite was ample for us with enough room, clean, and a good view. Check in and check outt was easy. And Tim the engineer really helped us out with a special circumstance where we had a flat tire and he let me use the shop air compressor to get us to a tire shop. This was the cherry on top for me. We will stay here again.
