Awful. Dishonest. Liars. Cheats. Their word is dirt. Worst of the Worst. I have never been treated so unfairly in my life. What they do is illegal. I fully expect to see this company on an episode of America Greed soon. They have stolen over $11,000 of my money and will not return it.

43 minutes on a chat to be disconnected and have to call in the 800 number to start the process all over again. asked to speak with a supervisor and put on hold for 12 minutes. the most frustrating part is representative's indifference. this company is an example of how not to treat customers.

I believe we often neglect to take the time to relay to a company(and to the public) what a great job a business is doing- and only share when we experience something negative. My experience has been a great one. PPS has been extremely professional, ready to help, and easy to work with. I have always gotten the answers I have needed when I have called without the rigamarole that I have experienced with many other companies. Highly recommend PPS.

Don't consider this company. They start out with a cheap rate just to get merchants to sign up, then at 6 months, they double their rates. Their customer service consists of about 1-2 people who do absolutely nothing but try and act professional. It is a scam.

We cancelled service and they continued to charge fees for 2 months after cancelling. After numerous phone calls the agent agreed to refund the fees but now will only refund part of the fees they did not earn. Beware of this company.

Horrible company to deal with. Apparently my account rep is an employee that no longer works there and I had to pay a cancellation fee that I was told I would not have. I left them because they were charging me more than most everyone else on credit card transactions. I explained the case to their VP of Operations and she basically told me to take a hike. I would not have signed up for their service if there was a cancellation fee since there are so many options now a days. Wish I would have never found these people.

Complete fraudsters, avoid at all costs!!

They sent notice that my merchant account had been closed (at their option). Fine, but left in the cold, I switched to PayPal. Six months later I see ACH debits against my checking acct by Priority Payment for "merch acct fees".

I called Priority Payment and explained my merch acct had been closed for a long time. The rep said they had decided to re-instated it... except they NEVER LET ME KNOW!!!

Because they never asked me or let me know, I wasn't given a chance to refuse (or use) their service. So, I asked for a refund of the fees and they refused! They gave me the "run around", communication was terrible, and I lost all trust in them.

Ultimately, I had no choice but to report the transaction as fraud to my bank. In addition, I had to close my checking account since there was no way to prevent them from further debiting my account with more "phantom" fees!!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! They are liars and thieves.

I have been using their services for years now and not once have I had a bad experience. Personally I use Priority Payments Local in Red Bank. Their staff is always professional and helpful any time I have needed them. Highly recommend!

My sales rep is nothing short of a con artist. Her name is Julie Campitelli. I was promised several things verbally, none of which have come true. First, I was told I was receiving a wholesale rate, and that my processing fees would go down on average, $400 per month. So far, wrong. Second, I was told that they would pay to terminate my existing processor contract. Wrong. Third, I was told that I didn't have to deal with PCI compliance. With the new terminal it wasn't necessary. Wrong.

Steer clear of this company. They are con artists practicing fraud.

These guys are an absolute scam.
They prey on Amish and Mennonite businessman, knowing that they are somewhat illiterate and will not call a lawyer.

My friend Samuel Mast sells puppies through a website and in their first month they took in an additional revenue than what they had anticipated, so they have held his money for 60 days now and refused to give it to him, claiming it is part of some type of fraud protection.

Terrible company, stay away.

No stars would be rated if I could. Rather than make effort to investigate an issue, this company will shut you down with no notice. Keep in mind this is during the Covid crisis PPS shutdown my online store processing. How bad is that? During the most critical times in an economy, when all small business are trying to stay afloat, PPS shuts you down. Rather than an easy phone to provide some validation needed over a $95 sale. To top it off, their Risk Analyst, sounds about the age of 12. That about sums it up. A 12 year old decision was made.

This Company is scam. Called in to terminate the account on August 2019, until now ( Feb 2020 ) they still charge monthly fee. When we call in to complain they said they can't find the merchant number on their system,even it is listed on the statement they mail out. Trying to reach out to supervisor or manager,but got a feeling this will be a long deal to go.
Good luck dealing with this company.

Spoke to Sales Manager, and promised that the account will be promised. Until today, April of 2020 still got a statement coming in.. Finding a lawyer to get them terminate this account now ( Of course they will pay my lawyer fee,i'll make sure of that )

My experiences with Customer Service have been exemplary. Unfortunately there are uninformed reps or merchants who don't understand the processes with card services. It's always good to talk to your rep and then ask to speak to their boss -- they are the ones who can make things happen. Priority does a great job.

WORST merchant processing company. Do not use them if you have any value for money or ease of business. They make it extremely difficult for you to even find them or change anything about your services- and will slap you with additional fees at any chance. You're much better off processing through your bank. I will never use them again or refer anyone to them.

I have had several bad experiences. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They withheld funds without notice several times. Because they did not properly set up my account, I had tax withholdings two separate times. It is difficult to get a hold of anyone. I have a new merchant service that I am paying on top of this one because they are that bad, and I am just waiting for my contract to expire. I called to quit, was promised a phone call. Then received an email with a cancellation form, alerting me of the cancellation fee. I am convinced that it is a scam. Priority Payments uses other 3rd party companies, such as Anovia, but for some reason all recording and prompts are the same. I have been hung up by their answering system several times, or they lead to a dead end. This is the first time, that I have made any effort to post a complaint. They are beyond ridiculous, I'm sure it violates laws that I frankly don't want to loose any more time pursuing. Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY!!!

priority payments is the WORST processing company we have ever dealt with! They hate and talk down to their customers. DO NOT USE THEM! THEY will take their money,screw you on fees, double dip unless you really watch your statements. They should be investigated by the government and attorney general into unethical business practices. Having to put a star at all is sickening to me. Yeah sorry to say but this company I am so happy that our Contract ends in Feb 19 2017. They are the WORST COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. And not nice on the phone to talk to at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PEOPLE I AM TELLING YOU NOW............

Just got off the phone with my account rep Darrell Slay) and told him that this is the 2nd time in 6 months that my credit card processing was down because of problems on their end. I told him that if I couldn't have reliable service that I would have to switch, he told me, and I quote "Do whatever you want to do doesn't matter to me either way. WOW! Funny how when they want you as a customer they are so nice to you. It's ok, plenty of other merchants out their.

The people answering the phones are really nice and I believe sincere. No beef with them. However, beyond that, they have cost us more in hidden fees and mistakes than we earned. We switched over to a new processor (equally "nice", probably equally fallible) and haven't used Priority for over a year now. They just took $54 out of our account. My husband called them and asked what the charge was for and they told him to process our credit card sales (it's been 15 months since they've processed one of our sales.) When the P.O.S. terminal broke down last year, I was told by the USDA that in the meantime our credit card processor would supply us with paper vouchers to use for EBT sales until our new system was up and running. Priority customer service told me that they don't perform that service and have no paper vouchers to supply us with. The USDA used to do that, but as they were downsized due to the present administration, they couldn't help us, either. (The USDA on their own website, provide a link for a download/print your own voucher which turn out to be unauthorized and illegal.) . Thanks guys, we lost a season's worth of EBT sales and how many customers. Spencer Creek Community Grower Market .

To be honest we did have a pretty rough start with them getting set up correctly as a B2B vendor and I almost walked away. Then it seemed that management in the Alpharetta GA office changed up a few months ago and things turned all the way around. We have a great new contact person there (Kent) and everything has been fixed. He has personally watched our account to make sure nothing else goes sideways. We have reduced our overall payout for credit card fees including any additional fees from PP systems to under 3% which saves us a lot of $$ over the year. I would currently recommend them.

The customer service is top notch, and upper management has always been accessible. With a core focus on longterm and mutually beneficial symbiotic relationships, PPS has proven to be an anomalous resource for payment processing. The cost vs value is a no brainer.

DO NOT use Priority System LLC, DO NOT rent equipment from them (equipment lease term 48 months, they will ask you to pay in full to terminate. My termination fee is $6,920.24. You will regret. Scam Company. I have proof for everything I said here.

I m a restaurant owner, I signed up with 253 PAYMENT which is the a vendor under Priority Payment System because of their promised low processing rate and sales pitch and I m deadly wrong! Once you signed-up, they will simply ignore you and lie again and again. Many employees left because of owner Jake s unprofessional and unethical behavior to their customer.
It took more than 6 months to get access to my processing statement despite constant pining. Guess why? They are many unexplained hidden fees in it that was never disclosed. When the leased Clover Flex device breaks, they won t help. Until today, I still haven t gotten my replacement device despite countless pining. They will just ignore and lie. They will never give you the reimbursement promised. When you ask to cancelled the service, they told me that the equipment lease term is 4 years and plans to continue charging me for it.
The only time they will proactively reply is when you inquire about adding new services. Once you signed-up, you re done! They don t care.

I asked my bank to investigate these charges they provided me with this companies name when I called them they said they do not have my business in there system I do NOT use any merchant for my business besides pay pal. SCAMMM!!!

One of their sales reps David Grable, CEO of Smart Answers LLC is a lier and a scumbag! Not only did he sell us two merchant accounts we didn't need, he did so unlawfully. Out of principle and to protect other small businesses, we plan to fill a legal complaint. They may be out of business but social media can get the word out. Please share this! If looking to start a business or have some sales person promising to save you a lot of money with their Merchant system, do due diligence. My partner was sick at the time and put my trust in David and learned a valuable lesson.

Like everyone mentioned. This company is horrible. Simply the worst payment processor imaginable. They will just lock up your funds without notice or probable cause. Terrible customer service, make you go through hoops, don t return calls. As long as they get their money they will just leave you in limbo. Stay far away from this company. There are tons of other companies to work with. My great grandmother can run a better business then them and she is 98 years old.

None of my batch details match up with batch reports. I have just been made aware of this. Have been told mxmerchant has a reporting problem. I have only gone back a few months but suspect it has been a long term problem. Going to hire an independent auditor. Anyone else having this problem?

Sorry to see the bad reviews. I have dealt with this company over the years and have been nothing but happy. My last business opening was seamless and took no time to be up and running. My employees love the system over what was here before. I have seen other local merchants switch to a fast talking salesman off the street only to be disappointed and they all go back to PPS. Based on my own experience, I would definitely recommend PPS , Alpharetta for your processing needs.

DONT USE THESE GUYS. They will cancel your account without reason . A quote from Priority Payment Rep: "We like to do it (cancel accounts) in the dark so we dont get any blowback from the merchant". They will keep you money for 60-90 without any interest back to the merchant.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They have tons of penalties and hidden charges. They do not email an explanation of upcoming rate changes or penalties. They do not even email receipts after payments. They do not even bill you using their own company name. Instead they bill you under Synovus Bank. You will wonder what the mysterious charges are on your account, and they will not refund you.

Truthfully, I think their business model is to churn and burn through new customers by cheating new and/or failing businesses. I do not see how they stay in business any other way.

This has been the worse business to business service I have received.
