Nice enough. I received multiple calls attempting to convince me to give the resort 90 minutes for a sales pitch. I was forced to park several buildings away from mine each night of my stay. In addition, there is still a roach problem. I asked the front desk to send a housekeeper to pick up the 2" inch long dead bugs. They came and only picked up one out of the many. Not sure I can recommend this resort to others.
My family and I have been here a handful of times. The staff is always friendly. I do think the resort needs to do some updating though. This time we stayed for 10 days, and we didn't ask for the maids to come every single day but we at least assumed when they would come in to give us new towels that they would take the dirty and ones and maybe give us some more dish detergent. The shower head was sort of broken and the tub head was loose from the wall. The seal on the front door was bad so lots of bugs got in. The lock on one of the bathroom doors between the bedroom and bathroom was broken. But our smoke detector battery did go low so when i called they sent someone over to fix it almost immediately which was great. I highly recommend bringing a cooler or buying a foam cooler when you're down there because the food and drinks at the pool bar are SUPER expensive and the food isn't even that good. They get $11.50 for a frozen drink and about $5-$6 for a beer (cheapest drinks).
Decent room, two bedrooms and a full size fold out. Refrigerator stunk of bleach then when that wore off, it smelled like sour milk. That was because it did not work well because it had frozen. The putt putt golf was fun, there are Geese resident to the ponds. There are two tennis courts, basketball, ping pong, and a pool table The pool and lazy river were cozy warm on a cool morning. We had to travel approximately 1 mile to the beach and there is ample free parking if you get there early. Broadway at the Beach is right around the corner for fun souvenier shopping and restaurants. The staff at the Plantation was very friendly and helfpul. All and all I would give three stars out of 5. The refrigerator was the stinking point.
Nice resort, a bit isolated but really good service and clean rooms
There's alot to unpack here. We have been coming here for at least 10-12 years so know alot about it. We are Sheraton owners. It definitely has gone down-hill in past several years.
General: very close to Broadway on the Beach, but not walkable to beach. No restaurant except for poolside bar and grill which does have good food but isn't cheap. But if pool closes, so does bar.
Rooms: some have been updated if were among first ones to be built. They are classy. One bedroom is small for anything over 2 people. They used to do a mid-week cleaning but now just give new towels. HOWEVER, they aren't clean. In our group people found trash in several places, bugs, etc. Missing linens for pull-out bed, missing utensils that other rooms had, etc. If you have a room on the 1st floor you will have a cockroach problem that won't go away even if they come spray. This has been a problem with multiple people on multiple occasions.
Pool: was really gross and cloudy for 2 days before someone cleaned it. They did get all new tables, chairs, and lounge chairs in pool area when we were there. But even they seem like they won't last very long. The chairs are smaller and not as comfortable. At least there was bad weather when we were there so no super-loud music blasting on pool deck.
Overall, I wouldnt actively choose to book a vacation here.
Stayed here for a few days and loved our time there. It was within walking distance to Broadway on the beach (which no one seemed to be waking to?). Close enough to other places to take a lyft around. Great to get back during the day and plop in the lazy River for a while. Would definately return
This was a wonderful get away. They made me feel comfortable with their cleaning practices and mask indoor requirements. Very accommodating. The pool was distanced and not very crowded. We had a great time!
Very comfortable hotel, I think it's all suites, even the let out couch bed was comfortable, has security at the front gate, beautiful landscaping and lots to do on the grounds, like BBQing with a shelter, playground, swimming pool indoor and outdoor, and a little store..my only concerns are like some of the caucasian guest were eyeballing us by the pool and it's a little too far from the ocean for my taste.
Our first time to SC and one of our home timeshares. Very happy with the accommodations but no restaurant on premise. Great location though and it is clean and safe.
SOOOOO Sad to leave. This place was amazing. We traveled as a big group: My husband and two kids (5 and 2), my mom and dad, aunt and uncle, grandfather and grandmother. We all had such a good time. The facilities are so clean, so family friendly, and altogether perfect. We loved the kiddie pool, ALL the pools, the lazy river, the putt putt golf, the kids play area and the kid splash park. The concierge who checked us in did such a great job putting everyone's room together (which I know was hard because the complex is so massive), the location of the hotel is wonderful (so close to the boardwalk and beach), and our room was just so beautiful and spacious (we had the premium one bedroom villa). Great price for all the amenities. The housekeeping was quick and came early (which is good when we needed to put the little one down for a nap).
If I had to make three complaints they would be just nit picking. One, I wish they would have an on-site restaurant. Two, they have DVDs you can rent but cost money. I have been to several other resorts that have this, and it is free to use. Third, this one is probably a big complaint, I wish the kid splash park would open earlier. It opens at 10:30. My kids were crying to go there but we had to wait everyday. This was not good.
I didnt stay here but my grandparents did & they had a lot of problems with their room. The sink kept getting stocked up & they had to call three times for people to come spray for bugs, we had to kill about 10 bugs, and they weren't the small bugs they were the ones with a lot of legs. Normally we don't have these problems with this hotel.
Clean, quiet and serene. The jacuzzi tub was the best part of the whole trip haha! In room Starbucks, the fluffiest pillows and gorgeous views off of the patio! Centrally located for all of your Myrtle Beach needs! I loved my stay!
This was my first time here and overall I can say it s very roomy and feels like more of an apartment which I like. Mini golf was fun and the location was great, however housekeeping stole some items and I ve never had that problem in other hotels. Disappointed.

Only 1 day into our 4 day stay and this place is AMAZING! The staff when we checked in were warm, welcoming, organized, and definitely made us feel our business was valued. Our room was immaculate and included washer and dryer! Loved the split plan and in room jacuzzi! Perfect location on Myrtle Beach. I will intentionally look for Sheraton Villas on my next trips!

The villas are great and has all the kitchen amenities like microwave, cook top, refrigerator, utensils including washer and dryer too.
The beach access is not the easiest but the place has a very clean and maintained facility.
I have been a Starwood owner since 2005. I pay well over $800 in taxes and MAINTENANCE fees every year. I checked into room 920 late last Sunday evening, the 19th. On Monday morning I was walking on the kitchen tiles and my feet turned black with dirt! We let the front desk know that the floors were dirty. A housekeeper came in, sprayed a little sanitizer, barely mopped and moved on. The floors were still disgusting. My wife spent hours using the towels in the room to get the tile floors clean enough so that we could walk on them without our feet turning black. Again, owner, pays $800+ per year for MAINTENANCE, works hard all year, checks into resort for vacation, and couldn t walk on the floors barefoot because the floors were so dirty?! There were also old chicken bones on the stairs outside of the room all week.
Hammocks have been removed since our last stay- not cool. Canadian Geese are making a mess of the grounds- I know that is a challenge. But the filthy floors is completely unacceptable and I want some sort of restitution.
A lot for the young people and the rooms are spacious
Rooms were large and comfortable. No dining or even small coffee shop on site.
Nice next place to get away for the weekend with plenty activities for everyone. The one downside is the walls are so thin that my family and I was woken by a couple in another room arguing at 2 AM for about 2 hours. I did enjoyed my stay.
We love Sheraton as a brand and we have always enjoyed our stay at this location. Feels like home away from home!!
The rooms are clean and the facility is beautiful. There is lots if room for families and it's close to lots of restaurants and stores. I am enjoying my stay so far
The place is a great deal if you have little ones. The Splash Cover that the resort runs is very addictive for both kids and parents alike.

Great place to stay in MB. Close to the ocean and Broadway at the beach. On site amenities are enough on their own if you don't want to leave.
Do yourself a favor and never go to one of their time share seminars. Yes I know, I should have known better...

I CAN'T GIVE A 0. OTHER GUESTS MUST HAVE HAD NEWER RMS. MOST HORRIBLE RCI EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!! AS A PLATINUM MEMBER I WAS BEYOND DISAPPOINTED. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A GOLD CROWN RESORT. CHECKED IN 07/16/16 (822)THE ROOM WAS NASTY. I HAD TO CLEAN THE ROOM WITH LYSOL AND CLOROX. THE FLOORS WERE NASTY THE CARPET HAD HUGE STAINS. THE KITCHEN FLOOR WAS DIRTY AND THE WALLS HAD STAINS EVERYWHERE. THE FRIDGE HAD DIRT & DUST ON TOP & INSIDE. THE KITCHEN CHAIRS AS WELL AS THE LIVING ROOM CHAIRS AND PILLOWS HAD NASTY STAINS ALL OVER THEM. I HAD TO SPRAY WITH LYSOL AND SPREAD A SHEET OVER THE COUCH IN ORDER FOR SOMEONE TO SIT DOWN. THERE WAS DUST HANGING FROM THE CEILING FAN . THERE WERE STAINS ON THE LAMP SHADES AND THE CURTAINS IN THE LIVING ROOM.
THE CARPET IN THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS WET FROM WHAT I ASSUME WAS AN ATTEMPT TO CLEAN. MAINTENANCE BROUGHT UP A FAN WHICH MADE BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I SICK. THERE WAS DIRT AND DUST ON ALL THE FURNITURE, IN THE CLOSET, IN THE TUB. THERE WERE NASTY STAINS ON THE WALLS AND THE CURTAINS IN THE BEDROOM. THE TV IN THE MASTER BEDROOM DID NOT WORK. I CALLED FRONT DESK AND SPOKE WITH STACY (MALE). HE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNCONCERNED. I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING BECAUSE THE ENGINEERS WERE GONE. 2ND BEDROOM DUVET COVERS HAD BLOOD STAINS ON THEM. THERE WERE NOT SHEETS FOR PULL OUT COUCH.
I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK THE NEXT MORNING BECAUSE I COULD NOT STAY IN ROOM 822 NO MATTER HOW MUCH I CLEANED. IN ADDITION I BOOKED TWO MORE THREE BEDROOMS FOR MY FAMILY ARRIVING ON SUNDAY, I DID NOT WANT THEM TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME THING. I SPOKE WITH ALEXANDRIA ( I HOPE I REMEMBERED HER NAME CORRECTLY). I SHOWED HER THE PICTURES I TOOK AS PROOF. SHE APOLOGIZED AND OFFERED TO MOVE ME INTO ANOTHER ROOM. SHE GAVE ME THE KEYS TO THE ROOM I WOULD BE MOVING INTO AND LATER THE KEYS MY FAMILY MEMBERS WOULD BE MOVING INTO. ROOMS 813, 910, AND 911. THE ROOMS WERE A BIT CLEANER BUT STILL HAD NASTY CARPETS, NASTY STAINED COUCHES AND CHAIRS. AGAIN I HAD TO CLEAN WITH LYSOL AND CLOROX. MY FAMILY ARRIVED AND WE MOVED AND TRIED TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT, ONLY TO DISCOVER ON TOP OF THE ROOMS BEING NASTY THEY WERE INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND SPIDERS. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AGAIN AND SPOKE WITH THE SAME RUDE REP STACY. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO BECAUSE THERE WERE ONLY ONE BEDROOMS AVAILABLE AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING FOR AN ENGINEER. MY HUSBAND WENT TO THE STORE TO BUY RAID ROACH AND BUG KILLER AND SPRAYED ALL THREE ROOMS. WE WERE ALL UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEPING. WE COULD NOT UNPACK OUR CLOTHES OR FOOD. I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK THE FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING. I SPOKE WITH BECKY. SHE APOLOGIZED AND FOUND THREE TWO BEDROOMS/ 930,931, AND 932. SO FOR A THIRD TIME I WAS MOVING AND MY FAMILY MOVING FOR THE SECOND TIME. ROOMS 931 AND 932 WERE READY TO MOVE IN. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE FRONT DESK SAYING DON T MOVE INTO 930 BECAUSE THERE WAS PROOF OF ROACH ACTIVITY AND THAT A PERSON FROM ECOLAB WAS COMING TO INSPECT AND SPRAY. THIS WAS AT 10:00 AM . THE REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT SHOW UNTIL 8:00 PM. HE WAS RUDE AND CONDESCENDING. HE CAME TO ROOM 930 FIRST AND LOOKED AROUND AND SPRAYED THE KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM AND BOTH BEDROOMS. HE SAID THE SPRAY WOULD NOT PREVENT THE ROACHES FROM COMING IN BUT WOULD DRAW THEM OUT. I LEFT FOR DINNER WITH MY FAMILY AND UPON MY RETURN THERE WERE ROACHES IN THE KITCHEN AND THE LIVING ROOM. HE DID NOT SPRAY ROOMS 931 AND 932 THEY DISCOVERED ROACHES AS WELL. BEFORE LEAVING THE ECOLAB REP INSPECTED AND SPRAYED ROOM 911. HE STATED TO THE MAINTENANCE GUY THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO TALK TO WEST REGARDING DOING ANOTHER BOMBING BECAUSE IT WAS TIME. HE TRIED TO CONVINCE MY HUSBAND AND I THAT THE ROACHES WERE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND THAT THEY WERE COMMON. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR THAT WHEN YOU SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY TO ENJOY A FAMILY VACATION. IN ADDITION TO EVERYTHING ELSE YOU COULD HEAR EVERYTHING EVERY FOOTSTEP, PPL USING THE BATHROOM IN OTHER ROOMS, EVERY BUMP, DOORS CLOSING, PPL TALKING. THE MOST HORRIBLE TRIP EVER!!!!! I HAVE PICS.
Sheraton gave us god customer service. The room was clean spacious and quite. They had information on events locally and discounts for any events to attend. They also had fitness center, massage area, soa, pools, and more.
A beautiful place to stay. Went there for a week and loved the rooms and the service. Everything was clean and working. Solid amenities. Walking distance to Broadway on the beach. Great spring break location. Would definitely stay again.

The building seems sturdy enough to handle a hurricane. Well appointed with a luxury feel to it. Good choices for materials, decoration and layout. However, you can hear constant noise from the units around you. If you look hard enough you can find a lot of places where they cut corners. Ex. Screw head sheared off in shower which then scratched up the door pretty badly. Lip on shower door not installed properly which causes all the water to run outside the shower onto the floor rather than back into the drain area. Substandard quality on cookware set. Mystery stain on tile in bathroom. Mold growing in showerhead. If they are letting the maintenance slip now, imagine what it will be like once the sales team moves on to the next location. Plenty of activities offered, but most cost extra. Wide choice of amenities on site. Good proximity to retail stores. However, not within walking distance of the beach and very hard to find parking there. Even when you pay full price for your stay, they make you sit through another Timeshare presentation. I was not given a choice in the scheduling so that wastes one of my days.
Update 6/26/18: Maintenance came by and replaced the stripped screw and cleaned up the carpet glue that had stained the tile. They also tightened up the handle on the shower. Housekeeping came by and said they would clean the mildew out of the shower head.
We were very impressed by the size of the room. Everything was clean and felt new. The staff has been very helpful.
Nice place, air conditioner got crazy cold then turned off until it was crazy hot. Food and drink costs were unreasonable.
Very nice place, very kid-friendly, many amenities for family and children comma many activities comma but the flooring was filthy and our bed sheets had flower petals in them obviously from the people who stayed there previously. That is more than not cool, that's just disgusting. All the staff was nice comma the grounds are very well maintained and it's a nice safe place. Would definitely recommend, just take your own carpet cleaner and bed sheets

Due to coronavirus ,,, this resort should absolutely keep the villas disinfected and clean.
The top of fridge and top of dryer was very dirty and we found yellow stains on the white sheets. Crumbs at bottom of beds that they missed to clean.

Service so far was great. The pools are awesome. We did have very little cook ware in the room and we did find palmetto bugs in the room. But other than that it's good.
Love the resort - even the sales presentations are not very high pressure... I always stay here when in MB.
I would live here if I could afford it. We stayed in a 2 room condominium here and it was just wonderful. Beach just 6 min down the road, Broadway at the beach just 3 min. And a plethora of places to eat. All in all I'd give them an A+. If its within your price range, it's the best place inland in myrtle beach.

They make you pay $12/day to get an internet connection that has performance that's better than dial-up. SERIOUSLY?! Oh, and if you want to park in the parking garage, it's $7/day for that. I'll stay somewhere else next time. POOR! Avoid.
I recently stayed at the Sheridan with two friends to relax, kick back and have some fun. The guest services was very helpful & polite. The two bedroom villa was very comfortable and clean. I can t begin to tell you how wonderful the service was at the pool bar, especially by Micheal. Thank you so much for a nice stay and I d recommend this property to family & friends. I look forward to staying here again in near future.
Great resort. Super clean and safe. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Did not get a chance to try out the outdoor pool due to the weather but it looked great. Would go back again for sure.
We drove by 14 hours to the resort and arrived roughly 2 hours late. We had called to let them know we would be late. When we arrived the room wasn t ready , even though we were late. The concierge then gave us a gift bag and told us the beach was 1 mile down the road and not a far walk,Come to find out that the beach is 2.5 miles down the road and about a hour and half walk from the resort. Then they said Broadway is also a few steps away, more like 20 min walk away. Then We then were told we won t get any more towels and we had to wash them ourselves. 4 towels for 4 guests for an entire week. Which they only gave enough laundry detergent for 1 single wash. Do they expect you to buy laundry detergent for a vacation ? When you pay for a room? We then ran out of toilet paper, we called the front desk and asked for more . They told us buy it yourself , Absolutely absurd when you book a room and they won t give you more toilet paper. Absolutely terrible. Don t recommend this place at all
Was a great vacation! Everything (pools, room, area) was clean and welcoming. Like that it's a gated community with security. The indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, and kids area with water slides are all great and well lit at night as well! This is especially the place to go if you have younger children (1-12), but really any age fits in here as they have tons of things to do for all ages! They have crafts, competitions, DJ's, fun dance competitions during certain hours, make and stuff your own stuffed animals, make tie-dye shirts, movie night at the pool, food and drinks at the pool, a small but nice put-put course, tennis courts, a playground, basketball courts, shuffle board, etc. It's also a good place to just relax! They also thankfully did their best to keep away the palmetto bugs, & all bugs! Although we saw 1 or 2 near the pool at evening, We didn't have anything bug wise in or near our room, and being in Myrtle Beach that's a good thing! Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this place, especially if they continue to keep up the good work.

Nice place but can never get the building you
want to stay in. They always stick you in a building nobody else wants & they continue to
say that s all they have. Requests for certain building when making reservations go unheard.
Been coming here every summer with family for 9 years. Kept very clean and updated! Had a coffee maker go on the blitz, after reporting it, we had another replacement in minutes! Fortunately for us the Supervisor was out checking her buildings as is her usual responsibility in the a.m. Lots of pool side activities for all ages.
Room was clean and service was fast. The fridge and freezer didn't work, keeping food at just above room temp. I couldn't hear the neighbors at all during my stay. All of the grounds and facilities looked nice and well-maintained. Good location close to the beach and a lot of other shops and restaurants.
Great resort for families or couples. Clean and updated facilities. Near beach, entertainment, and restaurants. Pool bar is pricey recommend bringing own food and drinks to bar.
Has several pools and hot tubs, miniature golf, basketball, tennis, water park, great activity center for both adults and children.

Pros and cons
Pros:
The condo is clean and we'll established with day to day things you need.
Cons: bugs in the room. We had to kill a spider and cockroaches.
If you have young children, the ponds have several turtles. Easy to catch.
CVS pharmacy is .06 miles from the resort, just in case there are medical emergencies.
I felt very safe there, but this is not a ocean view resort. The hotel is not in a very safe part of town. Kings BLVD is not safe for children and very trashy.
Pools are clean.
My room was not ready until an hour and a half later. The villa was nice and spacious . And the service was also good
