Just check out the property and the staff for yourself, then you can make your own rating... As for me, my experience was not the greatest. I had an inconvenience and it turned out to be a big ordeal. I had to speak with the Front Desk Manager. I asked to speak with the General Manager but that person already left for the day, therefore, I spoke with Sam. She was not helpful. The problem could have been resolved smoothly but It was not handled in a professional manner. Sam acted like she did not care at first, but after my voice tone on the phone went from being concerned to getting angry that is when she helped me. In a nutshell, housekeeping left our door open. When my family and I come back from shopping, we found the door slightly open. Our beds were made and we got clean towels. We are grateful for the clean room. However, we are not inviting unwanted people to have access to our stuff, money, or food. My other concern was safety for my family. When I told her about this all she said was she will report this to the housekeeping manager and she wanted to get off the phone. It was around check in time and she was with a guest. I would have been more understanding if she told me that from the beginning. Sam asked if she can call me back. When Sam called me back she informed me about her surrounding. Also, on our conversation, she did not ask how can they make it right. I had to address my concerns again before she was willing to help. She had to call me back again and by our third phone call, I was given a late check out with a $40 to eat at the Grill. However, my family is a party of 8. We could not eat with that amount. I went downstairs to the front desk to get this resolved. She did increase the amount of credit of $100.00 but was still billed for the difference. (The Grill was closed when I agreed to the credit, I didn t know the price ranges for the food.) I went to discuss the bill but she said she could not do anything else for us. Nevertheless, I will not go back and stay there again. My rating is not on property, but it s for the poor service I had with Sam. That is why people need to speak with the General Manager not a Front Desk Manager. She lacked professionalism, listening skills and understanding.
