Stayed for an April convention. Booked our room the previous September, and confirmed specifics a week prior to check in only to find that the promised class of room was... Unavailable?! Disappointed. The staff worked with us, but it started the weekend off on the wrong foot.

We stayed here for one night while we were attending a concert at Phillips arena. It was only about a 20 minute walk to get to the arena. The hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurants. The rooms were nice and clean, we didn't spend much time in the room. I deducted one star because right after we got there we went up to the room and started to get ready and someone with house keeping opened the door without knocking. Lucky we had the little latch locked so the door couldn't open all the way.

Not what I expected from a Sheraton. We were on the 1st floor across from the meeting rooms and I m not sure if those rooms have been updated like the rest. Read a few other reviews that mentioned the beds being very comfortable and plush, but that wasn t the case in the room we were in. It was so hard it was almost like sleeping on 2 box springs. They are pet friendly, but had a weight restriction of 40lbs and several breed restrictions we were not aware of until arrival. Also, when we asked where to walk our dogs we were directed to the flower beds.

Nice hotel that is close to many tourist attractions and walking distance to the Mercedes-Benz stadium if you're here for a Falcons game.

Hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I'm dropping it down a star because they wouldn't take cash as a deposit and I didn't have a credit card with enough money (debit style credit card), luckily I had family who could transfer money to me instantly on that card, otherwise I don't know what would've happened.

Good luck sleeping. The thin walls plus trashy patrons make this an awful hotel unless you'd like to stay up past 2am screaming with everyone else. Staff isn't able to help (they seem overworked and unsurprised).

Way overpriced for what you get. My room had a noisey ac system, the bathroom door didn't lock and the shower head is at chest level. The room is quite small for the price as well. Location is at the bottom of the hill of downtown making it a trek to get to certain places. Stay at the Marriott, Hilton, or Westin instead.

Hotel was nice, staff was friendly, and beds were really comfortable. Leaving 3 stars because our king bed that we booked in advance was given to another guest before we arrived and we had to have towels sent up 3 different times because they had black hairs on them.

Worst hotel stay ever. We booked this hotel because it was given a high star rating but when we arrived I had to stand in line to check into the hotel for 45 mins. The room they put us in was right by the door that goes outside to parking deck and there was constant smells of weed smoke and people talking loudly all night long which I did not get any sleep. Also when i booked this room there was nothing that told me I would have to pay 30.00 for parking . This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed at 3 star hotels better than this. I mentioned my concerns several times to staff and no one cares. Never will I ever stay at a Sheraton hotel after this.

The hotel was nice, the room was clean but the bathroom just had conditioner not shampoo.
The location of the hotel is good but the bad part is around there is a lot of homeless. Just be careful if you decide go out to walk the area.

Once you find your way around the hotel, it's actually a nice place. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was enjoyable, and they have useful facilities like a gym and pool. Still, it would be nice if they made it easier to find the front desk from the parking structure.

First time here. The lobby and pool is wonderful, however....we ended up getting a room on the other side of the hotel on the 5th floor and the elevators are 300 yards away. Long walks to and from the room to the lobby and the parking garage. Needless to say the parking garage has 5 floors too and took forever to get back and forth. Make sure not to forget anything in your car or you'll have a long travel time. The design / layout was not I'd imagine. Make sure to ask for a room next to the swimming pool. It's beautiful plus very close to lobby area's, etc. The next mornings Breakfast Buffet was very expensive - $19.00 a person (two people $45.00 plus tip!). Some people were leaving because the prices were sooo high. The food wasn't great either. Our cream for our coffee was spoiled. Needless to say, we had to complain and to top this all off, when we got up to pay our $$ bill, they (resturant manager, waitress, cashier, all asked us how was everything and we said it wasnt what we would expect and they all said aww, but they never took any thing off the bill. LOL.... We won't be back at this hotel. I've been staying in ATLANTA one night a week trying to see all of the different hotels, surounding, etc. and this was probably the worse place near Midtown Atlanta. Busy place though. Perhaps MORE of a statis symbol (hotel)!?!?

Charge too much tax, hotel tax, state tax, city tax, county tax and then a repeat. A early check n fee, parking fee, WiFi free? $120 rm = $202 I'm done. The hallways were dark. Nice large facility, I would stay there again with several friends tho.

Went to Atlanta for a basketball tournament. Tournament had this hotel listed as one we had to stay at. We picked this one because it listed it offered free shuttle to and from airport and to the venue. And to other places you wanted to go. But when we got to Atlanta we were informed the shuttle no longer exists! Also they are very relax on the security. People walking around the floors who were didn't have rooms there. And 3 times we saw the police there dealing with issues in the lobby.(why in the lobby? And not in a office area?)

So I graduated May 7th and my parents bought me a new car! I checked in the Sheraton hotel on May 8th and chose to valet my car. Why did I do that! On May 9th valet handed me my key and they were missing, two custom keys that are needed to open my gas can! The entire day I was unable to get gas because the gas can has to be opened with the custom keys! I was assured by the Sheraton hotel manager Jerome that I would be compensated for my keys. Valet called AAA to come an unlock my gas can but they didn't show up period! I waited for 4 hours an Jerome only offered me a meal for my wait. The supervisor Mrs. Daniell Ramsey finally offered me to stay a free night an assured me everything would be taken care of. When I woke up the following morning Rijoun, Jonte and Ken Prophet were beyond nice while assisting me and the Sheraton finally compensated me.

A friend comes here every year for Mothers Day. This year the Sheraton offered a very inexpensive deal that included breakfast for $99. Well, a lot of people got the deal, which is great, but the hotel was overrun with young families. We went down to the pool to visit with the couple and their young daughter and not only was the pool overcrowded, but so was the hottub. It was a little frightening. While one couple with a two-year-old and three-year-old boys hung out drinking in the hottub, their boys dove into the pool. We jumped up to get them. We told the mom who nonchalantly told us, "Yes. I'm watching them." She could not see the boys in the pool, but was too drunk to care. One little girl was carrying what had to be a two-month-old baby into the hottub. We stopped her and she told us his mother said she could. There were babies and young children in the hottub. It was too crowded to get in it. Like most hotels, there were no life guards to tell children not to run. People were drinking, and hanging out. It was one big party. There was no way I was getting into that pool with the amount of children and babies in diapers in it. When we left, it took the valley 30 minutes to get our car. No one said anything. We finally had to ask a valley, who was chatting up one of his buddies to check on it. Just ridiculous.

My friends, who have come here for years, said they'll be finding somewhere else to go next year. I can't say that I blame them at all.

I still have not received my refund. This hotel did not accommodate me in any way and refused me because I didn't have a credit card for $50 incidentals. I had cash for incidentals but they wouldn't except it. I was in a tough situation being out of town and forgetting it at home. They suggested (told me) to cancel my reservation and go elsewhere. I would NOT suggest this hotel because of this. I even spoke to the manager to see what he could do. I was alone with my daughter trying to celebrate her 16th birthday and ended up having to walk the streets with our luggage at 11pm at night to another hotel. Atlanta has alot of homeless people and we felt very unsafe.

The staff and amenities were wonderful. I have one huge issue with this hotel, however.

The bathroom doors are sliding barn door style with no actual seal to keep scents and sounds in.

My husband and I don t tend to be grossed out by one another easily - but this door tested us. If you re with anyone you don t want hearing you poop, maybe book separate rooms.

The hotel is older, but newly remodeled. The staff is friendly. The pool area is great, but the pool is cold. The restaurants could use some improvement, but the rest of the hotel staff was great.

Hotel was beautiful and clean, however a few staff members were rude (gave attitude when we asked questions) on various occasions across our 4 day stay for a conference in Atlanta. We were charged for internet when we never ordered it, especially considering we are in 2019 and internet should be provided. During our 4 day stay, 3 of those days 1 of the 2 elevators was not working creating a longer than expected wait time to get to and from our room. Not to mention people were over crowded in the elevator, with luggage, so we would have to wait for the elevator to come back to jump on the next ride up.
Very unprofessional considering this was the "Sheraton" a hotel we once used to look at as a higher end hotel franchise.

I stayed at hotel from a Monday to a Wednesday. The staff was super friendly at every encounter but the room was disgusting. Hair/dirt on bed, in drawers, and on floor, comforter visibly dirty with spots on it, tray in bathroom holding shampoo/soap/etc was dirty, the tray holding the in-room coffee maker was dirty. AC didn't sufficiently cool the room even when set over night to 65 degrees. I had cream and sugar for the in-room coffee maker but no coffee! After making request for coffee it was delivered promptly. All in all I think I would prefer rude staff with a clean room instead of what I got!

Rooms small not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. Water presser is bad. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night couldn't go back to sleep. 12 floor for clubhouse was bad. Tables were not clean half the time.

Not the best but certainly not the worst. My suggestion to anyone who will be staying here confirm the room and what you want like a double bed if you ordered it when you're on the phone with them and before you go to make sure everything is in order. We ordered a double bed, instead we got a single king.

This has got to be one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. We were not given the rooms we originally booked. Although it was obvious ahead of time the hotel would practically be at capacity, only one elevator to the south tower was operational...which resulted in long wait times to go up/down the floors. Later, neither elevator to the south tower worked, and we were forced to use the service elevator, located in a seedy area of the hotel. Later a party was thrown. Upon our return that evening, residents with paid, self parking, were forced to park across the street at an adjacent parking garage, rather than having party goers park there instead. I definitely will not be returning!

Nice hotel. Stayed here for a conference. There appears to be a number of close food options, but due to meetings I wasn't able to explore much. It's about a $30 cab trip here from the airport. I didn't go to the restaurant/lounge but it always looked busy. Room is somewhat small but for one person it is comfortable. I stayed in the queen standard room.

The room was great but it was very far from the elevator it was very complicated to get in and out. The parking was super complicated to get it was very confusing. You had to walk a lot. Very difficult. The pool looked beautiful even though I could not enjoy it. The room was clean and very nice.

Booked and paid in full a year in advance for Labor Day weekend only for the Sheraton Atlanta to discover FIVE MONTHS AFTER THE FACT a software malfunction that will result in an extra $20 per night plus taxes and room fees that I am required to pay, in full, or risk losing my reservation. Absolutely unethical and a blatant money grab for a popular weekend.

Rented the room for a company even while at the AHR Expo and it is now after 11pm and I am still waiting on some party to end in the courtyard
I called the front desk at 10:45pm and asked when they would shut down the music, and lady said 11pm and then they would call security. At 1115pm I called again and no one answered
Combine this with a shower that has yet to see the ceiling above the shower cleaned of the dirt and hair stuck to it we won't be staying here again..
I'll also be sure to file a complaint on behalf of the company I work for which is a fortune 500 company to ensure they know that this hotel doesn't treat their paying customers with respect.

If I could give this property no stars, I would do so. Our mini fridge was broken along with the AC. This was not my first time staying at a Sheraton, but I guarantee this will be the last. AVOID this place at all costs, I will never do business here again.

Front desk staff are nice and helpful. The room is adequate. Self parking cost on property is ridiculous. The travel company that booked our block of rooms not including at least a continental breakfast is ridiculous. The hotel could at least provide that. The location is good for getting around downtown.
