It was a nice room. Bed above average, but a waterline burst so my shower was slightly more than a drip. They offered me 1000 bonus points and were apologetic. If it weren't for that I'd given it a higher rating .

Nice hotel, rather large and was good for the conference that I had attended there. There are good food options in the hotel as well as the surrounding area. If I'm ever going to stay in downtown Atlanta again I would probably stay here.

Clean enough, but very Run down, shower wear is all broken and falling off walls, cracks in ceiling, rooms smell of past life of being smoking rooms, unsightly check in. Everything is worn but it does the trick. Ok location but nothing immediately around the hotel food or shop wise.

AC was broken down. The Sheraton sign was broken, so I couldn't find the hotel. The parking is twice the amount of what it should be compared to public parking in Atlanta. I'd rather stay somewhere else if I stayed in Atlanta.

The hotel was supposedly under renovation for the time I booked it, although I didn't see any evidence of it in my tower. Because of the renovation, I was able to get a King Corner Suite for just a little over $150 per night. It was well worth it. It was clean and well maintained. It also came with Executive Club privileges on the top floor which consisted of evening hors d'oeuvers and a light breakfast. I took a star off because of the location. Everytime I walked off the property derelicts would try and hussle me for cash and cigarettes. I've lived in a couple of cities but the Atlanta vagrants are relentless. Midtown would be a better option if this bothers you.

The description of the room I booked included a view of the city. Unfortunately, the entire side of the hotel we were put in was under construction. Nice view. I wasn't a premium price to look at that. After speaking with the front desk, the manager was quite helpful and moved my family up quite a few floors and we obtained access to the VIP room. The breakfast there is really good. Same with snacks in the evening. Any employee you meet on that floor is exceptionally nice.
The guys in the front are very helpful (if not a little much) but they want you to have a good experience before you enter the door.
Front desk, concierge... All great and helpful.
The room we ended up with was about one level of an upgrade. The rooms are very clean, though the beds were a tad firm for me. The bathroom in the first room we were given was great with a super clean shower and glass doors. The new one looked very outdated in comparison.
Now for my favorite part... The pool. I haven't experienced a pool area quite like this before. The entire area is part of the atmosphere with plants and birds that fly in through the open roof. It reminded me of a rain forest...with a chlorinated and man made pond inside of it.
It's truly beautiful, not to sound cheesy.
My family and I are used to the $40-70 a night hotels so this was quite an upgrade for us. I'm glad we took a chance. It really paid off and I would love to stay here again.

The only reason I took a star off: the parking garage for the hotel is $22/night. The parking garage across the street is $10 on the weekends and $30 during the week. For the price, I'd like to see a parking pass, even if you have to pay. I nearly wish we hadn't rented a car.

IT has plenty of amenities, it looks good from the entrance views. The bar, ballroom area is a great attraction. However, the elevator smells of animals and urine! The 8th floor Vending area had feces smeared ON the room's floor. RATHER IT WAS HUMAN OR ANIMAL IS UNKNOWN. Two days after we reported it to staff and concierge desk THE FECES WAS STILL IN THE VENDING ROOM!

I would like to give it no stars. It has a 4.0 rating but please scroll thru and read the reviews if I had I would have stayed somewhere else.Be prepared to pay $30 up to $55 a night to park in the garage even though you are a guest staying at hotel. This isn't valet parking its even if you park your vehicle yourself! Not advertised on the website!!! I understand now that they subcontract to a parking company that saves sheraton liability issues but their rip off does effect how you feel about the Sheraton! We actually got a "shake down" by 1 of them and condoned by manager. They told us it was $55 a night to park so our bill would be $110 for 2 nights or if I gave them $60 cash right now we would save money. Room was clean but we only had one nice pillow top bed the other one was a very uncomfortable older bed. No shampoo in room. Couldn't get the a/c cold enough. Bottled water in room look at price before you drink it its $5 a bottle. Pool looked beautiful but we didn't have time to enjoy. Ate breakfast buffet and it was good. Had a nice deli but it closed before dinner. Ate at restaurant limited menu but fried green tomatoes and grilled cheese sandwich were good. Had drinks in bar and they were good. We won't stay here again because of the parking cost and when you pull up they asked us, "what do you ladies want?" We had never been asked that when you check in. Usually its welcome would you like valet parking and can we help you with your luggage. We were driving a nice white ford van, maybe they decided we weren't good enough to be guests. Shame on you Sheraton for allowing a parking subcontractor to run your customers off! Sheraton corporate should pull your franchise!!!
