Our matress had what appeared to be a large blood stain on the side and on top. This was after we had driven up from South Florida all day. We had unpacked all of our luggage and found the spot which was covered by bed sheets. Not wanting to change rooms bc of the unpacking I requested that the matress be swapped and they refused to do so. Finally after going downstairs and complaining several tines they exchanged the matress. They did make up to us by putting us on a very nice suite afterwards but we had to complain and complain to get it.

The staff are so nice and helpful! The hotel is huge, and I found the layout very confusing but the staff took time to help me find where my conference was being held and where other important things were. If you are in a wheelchair or have difficulty walking, I would make sure to ask for a room near the lobby elevator or else you may end up walking a long way to your room due to the strange layout.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Parking and getting inside the hotel is super inconvenient. The bed sheets Were horrible for a 4 star hotel. The air conditioning barely worked, so bring a fan! Ha! waited in line over an hour to check in at 4 pm since they wouldn t let you check in even an hour earlier. They hold $100 for damages but it takes up to a week to get that back. Just overall was not the best experience I ve had staying at a 4 star hotel and I definitely won t be back!!!

Shocking hotel with IMPOSSIBLE to navigate lobby and lifts, you can do so much better! And as for a swimming pool with a roof over the top on a hot day??? What???? I booked it for the swimming pool and didn t want to sit under a roof all day.
Also nowhere near anywhere you will want to be. So you ll spend a fortune on Uber s.
Uber and out.

The room was nice. The parking sucks, the different routes you have to take just to get to your room, the front desk, the restaurant is nerve racking and the elevator doesnt know what floor you want. For me, its not worth the hassle.

Great hotel, with a lot of amenities! This includes a heated pool area, fitness center, gift shop, and restaurants inside the hotel. It is located in the downtown area, which puts it 15-20 minutes from a lot of local activities. Some of the items inside the hotel are a little pricey, but there is a CVS a couple of blocks away that can offset some of the daily needs.

It's really frustrating to be a tourist and book in this hotel: parking is not only expensive but ridiculously expensive. WiFi is not included so if you want to plan your next day in the city, you have to pay for it. Also, we checked in around 9pm, we asked for a crib for our baby, housekeeping brought it, front desk called, CALLED an hour later to ask us if we had gotten the crib, which means that they woke us up and the baby to ask for something that should be answered by housekeeping. No thank you. No Sheraton ever again.

Got to give them 5 stars for GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had guest traveling in for the holiday and I m paying for the room but would not be back in time for guests to check in.
Called the hotel and Keandea (misspell name) worked with me to prepay for the room in advance. She was very professional and friendly. The staff including the valet was very professional and friendly. Kudos to the team!!!

It's ok. Stayed pool side which was the best part. Our room looked as though it hadn't been cleaned, like only the beds were made and on top of that one bed had all the blankets and one was missing blankets. Room had no trash bags at all. Staff are very friendly and very helpful!! The parking is to much. They don't explain that self park ISN'T free. They ask you if you want valet and if so it's $40 a night. If we knew that we wouldn't have took self park for $30 a night.

July 2018. This would be 4 stars but the hotel is under construction right now. Everything from parking to check-in to elevators are affected. The rooms are nice but the layout of the hotel is very confusing. Good downtown location gives you access to most city tourist activities.

First of all the staff were very nice. The one star is because of the bad experience with no compensation. At check in, they couldn't get my bank card to go through. Had to call 2 managers over to fix it. Took 20+ minutes. Then, since the room key acts as a parking lot pass, everytime I left and came back, it was a problem. So we settled in for the night and were asleep around 9. At 1030 we woke up to a noise from the bathroom. There was nasty dirty water coming in through the pipes. It was bubbling in so I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up. 45 minutes later!, the maintenance guy came in and was very nice and said we needed to change rooms. So we packed all our stuff up to move while he poured the overflowing water into the toilet. Then he left and we waited and waited. We all fell back asleep and at 1am someone knocked on our door to move and I told him we were asleep. So he left then it took FOREVER to go back to sleep. At 3am the maintenance man just walks right in without knocking and my daughter jumps up and he is surprised that we are still in the room. And he leaves. So my daughter cannot go back to sleep! We check out at 10am and I'm explaining to the clerk everything that happened and all she does is tell me they will comp my parking fee! OMG I was and still am very upset.

The staff stated the System was down and they were having trouble getting anyone checked in. The room I paid for on my reservation was 100% not the room I stayed in. Was a poor experience all around and will be staying at the Westin or Omni from here on.

Dirty. Bugs. Blood drops on carpet. Random pill on the floor. Dirty sheets. And my computer bag goes missing after a room cleaning. When I notified staff, the manager was incredibly rude. Never will I stay at this hotel again.

Toured this downtown hotel for business. Dont let the outside fool you! It truly is a gem! Ample parking, convention space, ballrooms, meeting space and a few eateries (one that is chef driven). Their pool area is an oasis with poolside rooms and an area to host a party. Very cool! Our tour guide shared that they boast the longest lighted bar in Atlanta with a private wine tasting room. I have several events that I would love to host here.

This is a nice older hotel in the downtown Atlanta area. The layout of the hotel is a bit confusing at first, as you and other guests will be relying on one another from time to time to get to your destinations, The amenities provided at the hotel are nice and are comparable to the other surrounding hotels. One service that is provided by the hotel that is unknown to many, is the ability to charge your electric car (bring your own charger though) in their parking garage. It's definitely a do over.

The good. The location is ok with a few places to eat next to it . It is very well kept and modern rooms. The bad. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor. long waits, telling me wrong information just being lazy. Room service was VERY slow and then the worst part was the Deli on the second floor. The staff was Rude and with a very, very nasty attitude and wanted to be argumentative about everything! No thanks, not spending my money with Sheraton downtown.

The lower level staff is pleasant, but the facility had a number of issues. In addition, the room was comfortable, but needed some upgrades (carpet was worn through, for example). Many times, when we called for issues, it took numerous attempts before it was fully resolved. The food is okay, but I preferred going off-site for a better selection as there are many in the area. I've been to this location twice, but probably wouldn't come back again.

The hotel is ok. Need to be updated. The parking is horrible. You park on the parking deck mostly on the 4th. or 5th. floor take an elevator down to ground floor and then walk several hundred feet to the hotel and go up to your room on an elevator again. You can pay 35.00 to have your car parked for you but remember that you are in Atlanta.

Location is great, it is located near many great date spots in downtown atlanta. Me and my wife are newly weds and the hotel gave us great service by waiving parking fees and giving us breakfast buffet on the house for two mornings Christmas morning and the day after. For anyone staying overnight at the hotel, make sure you make prior arrangements for cars or else you may end up paying double what you were expecting to pay for your stay. For two nights you would be paying $64 extra to parking! So call in and make prior arrangements is all I can say. Our personal experience was great, they waived those fees for us :)

Stayed in the hotel for Dragon Con. Staff was extremely helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean and maintained. The club lounge was amazing the entire weekend!

That said the recent price gouging incident means you should think twice before you book here, especially if they demand up front payment.

Great walking location to many things downtown. Club lounge was under renovation while I was there. Seems like they have lots a conferences at this location. Expensive overnight parking like most downtown hotels.

I came back from attending a conference and the cleaning staff did not shut my door completely. My room was left open for hours, luckily no one was in my room when I got back in and there was nothing missing. I notified the front desk and they did apologize. I will NEVER stay here again!!

Self-parking is $34 and on a deck which is a short walk from the hotel. An elevator in the parking deck should provide access to a walkway which leads directly to the hotel; this elevator was out of service when I arrived at 10pm. With no attendants to guide me, I walked out of the garage to the first hotel entrance to find a locked door and unanswered door buzzer. I had to walk a few hundred more yards (outside, in the dark, in downtown Atlanta) to another entrance, all the while lugging my bags, until I finally made it to an unlocked door which led to some remote wing of the hotel's conference hall. 5 minutes later I finally made it to the hotel lobby, where I was told that there had recently been a Legionnaires Disease outbreak in the hotel and that I could cancel and receive a full refund. Ugh. The rooms are dated and on the smaller side. The desk does not have convenient power receptacles for laptops/phones, and the glass surface is not conducive to using a computer mouse. The lone redeeming quality is the friendly front desk staff. Won't stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Had some confusion with reservations, but that got handled really quick. The pool is indoor. We went during the colder season so we didn't visit it thinking it was outside. Our room was amazing and clean. We used Groupon and had free breakfast.

Currently under construction in preparation for the Super Bowl. As a result there is no hotel bar except for a little makeshift thing with 2 or 3 stools. Makeshift, but not bad, dining area and the food was great.

They gave us an already taken room to us when we checked in and we confronted with others resting at their room. Was so embarrassing. But they compensated us with free breakfast for two days which was so nice. Overall the location and service was good and the room was clean.

Find another place to stay. There are far too many places to stay where you will be appreciated. We had to ask for the rollout bed, for which we prepaid. We had to ask several times for linens and pillows. Not once did anyone come to replenish the room or straighten up. We had to call late one evening to get coffee and fresh towels and the pillows they did not bring the night before. The only saving grace was the fresh young face at check-in and the parking booth attendents.
