Lovely staff and great decor. Small Beach area but nice and they have a pool as an alternative. Great drinks and food provided. Relaxing and nice for a get-away

WARNING - I found out the hard way that the nightclub is infamous for woman drugging guys at the bar in an attempt to steal their wallet. My drink was spiked with something which caused me to collapse, cut my hand (needed stitches), broke my glasses ($360 in repairs), and ruined my weekend. The hotel bouncers main concern was getting me out of there and back to my room (no first aid). The place is aware of the problem and they do nothing about it. While we were having a good time until that happened, I just want to warn guys about these professional female criminals.

The club is a must. Shout out to Bismarck for exceptional service!!

Great place for night out, with unique outside dance stage.

Issues with website. Contacted the hotel many times but they have not addressed the issue. If they can not fix the website, just imagine the service they provide. We were planning on booking about 12 rooms for our group trip. They had a 48 hour sale that we missed because of the issue.

A great place to eat. Staff is very kind, helpful and courteous. Parking is free once you have your ticket validated. Parking staff is very pleasant, and extremely accommodating.

Perfect spot wright in the middle of Clearwater Beach. Private beach, club and bars.

We have been going to Shephard's Restaurant for 22 years and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Last year the manager, Todd, left and Casey Cothran was hired as a replacement. Yesterday was my birthday and for dinner we asked to sit in a booth. Casey scowled at us and said the booths were reserved for a large party coming in soon. We chose another table and went to the buffet. We found the supposedly hot food to be of lukewarm temperature. The pizza was lukewarm and dried out. We found a stack of unwashed plates where clean plates are supposed to be and manager Casey nowhere to be found. We left near closing time and nobody was seated at any of the reserved booths during our time in the restaurant. We do not understand why this hostile and negligent manager has not been terminated by the owner. This restaurant has greatly declined under Casey Cothran.

Only place I've ever been that charges for a place to sit... chair rental is $10... But it's a beautiful view.

Overpriced! We went to the night life at 1 am, price online said $5 we were charged $10 at door, at again... 1 AM! Online said I didnt have to pre pay for the $5 entrance fee. Kidd Leow had electrical issues with no help... Your a professional VJ.. Wheres your assistant! Get it together my peeps. Drinks were in small cup amd on a vodka tonic I barley tasted the vodka.

The service was great as well as the food & drinks.

Very rude "managers" who threatened to sue me when I said I'd leave them a bad review... Can you believe that? Do NOT stay here!

Room quality is fair at best - average linens, older fixtures, limit charging ports.

NIGHT CLUB IS LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!! Ask if there will be a rave going on and then plan your sleep accordingly.

Hotel staff is friendly and location is convenient. Those are the only pluses.

The food is always excellent! I wish could eat there every day.

Three stars for location but unless you drink beer there alcohol is like water

Nice hotel, they have live music and a night club. Very noisy. If you are a party person, then this hotel is perfect. Guests stays at the hotel have free admission to the club and live music show.

BEST place to stay in Clearwater Beach if you are there to party.

The restaurant's food is too salty, the sand sizzling in the scallops ...

Aweful...I got to the door and they wouldn't let me in because I was wearing a plain White shirt, However a black guy walks in with the same thing on and the rent a cop doesn't say a word. I will never come back to the place and spend my money, everybody else should follow suit.

One of our favorite hang out spots to grab a bite to eat, have a drink, listen to live music and watch the sun set....valet parking!

Nice rooms, very central location, it is a party hotel and can get quite noisy in the evening. The staff was unfortunately not very friendly. Only valet parking available.

I come to clear water beach every year, but i have never stayed in a resort with such rude and hateful staff members.

Beautiful hotel. The room had an awedome view.The customer service is AMAZING! They went out if their way to assist me in every way.

Shepard Beach Resort was great. A nice place to go to with a beautiful waterfront view and access day and night.

The buffet gives you plenty to choose from. The crab legs were very tasty but difficult to get out of the shells as they were sticking. Would definitely go again.

Beatiful scenery, not to many people. Could walk for long distance and collect seashells.
Will be back definitely on next vacation.

Chicken sandwich was excellent as well as the drinks and service.

Bar tenders were all nice and fast! Atmosphere was amazing! A bar, another bar with a live band and an awesome night club with a great DJ and two floors all on the beach. There is something for everyone here. $10 dollar cover worth every penny. Cheers to a great night out.

Have fun getting bossed around by the thugs they call security.. this place is TRASH.....

It was my first time in Clear Water Beach & EVERYONE recommended I stay at Shephard s and I was not disappointed. The room was a great price, had the most amazing views, and had everything I needed within a short walk. My only regret is I couldn t stay longer!!

Big negative was the bed.
By far the worst mattress I've ever slept on.
That should be okay for the hefty price you pay.

Great environment to have drinks and listen to music. Best time to go is a Sunday!

It was fun! Food was excellent! Rooms were pretty good too. Only issue for me was there wasn t enough outlets to plug electronics in. And they just hung there. That was my biggest gripe. I also felt safe moving about on property.

Don't skimp, get the fresh served all you can eat crab. Well worth it.
