Very clean, nice rooms. Tons of things to do. Best for adults who want to have a good time! Don't plan on coming here if you want to sleep!!! (Which is a good thing)

Service there was nice, food was delicious too. I wish they had more variety in breakfast the day I was there. Overall it was good.

The front is very close to the road, so that all the rooms face the beautiful pool, Tiki Bar and shoreline. A lovely place to see and stay. Why not a 5 star rsting?? I was disappointed to see the charges for the cabanas and the chairs/umbrella in the sand. But awesome employees, good fun and lovely.

Went to their Sunday late night club scene. Pretry cool. Not quite my thing though. Was just looking for a quite drink.

Location is great, atmosphere is amazing and fun. Love the outside part while the ocean is literally a few steps away ... Can't beat it best place in Clearwater Beach

Bar had some great specials. Buffett with seafood add on was totally worth it.

Always a great place to stay. Rated number 1 on the strip by locals...comstant live entertainment, weekends are off the chain at the wave club there. Be prepared to party.

Crazy Vibe. Fun hang. Right on the beach! Parking is a bit tricky.

The staff is very respectful. Very attentive. Resort is very clean comfortable. The beds and pillows are amazing. Food is fantastic. Great atmosphere and scenery. Music was fantastic. Will definitely come again!! Thank you!!

Beautiful place perfect spot but the service and staff is horrible we checked in a room on a Saturday night the room was dirty had hair All over the floor our room happened to be above the nightclub the music was super loud everything in the room was shaking the glass the dishes people outside of the window were loud drunk called front desk to ask if they could move us they said no even tho I have to get up at 7am they didn t care the club is open till 2:30am so deal with it.. That was the answer I got from

I am staying here as we speak and the vibration from the music doesn't let anyone sleep. Fix your rooms, sounds proof them because this is ridiculous. Its 2:15 and they don't shut up.

What can I say this place is amazing, the drinks are great they manage their bar and outside venue very well and the music rocks. I've been there a few times and always had a blast till 2 or 3 in the morning. Definitely coming back here to party over and over again.

Good place. Ok selection. On the water. Has valet for free just get it stamped. I can say this. I go to a lot of buffets. Price to what you can eat and location with a view of the ocean. All you can drink mimosas on a Sunday brunch. Outside seating available. We were a party of 10. They kept up with service. I will return when I go to Florida again. I drove from Wesley Chapel to eat her with my family after my mom's funeral. Even she loved this place.

Nice pool. Great band. On the water. Frozen drinks. Fantastic dinner buffet.

The food can be good but has alot of stuff to keep it going additatives. Yuck. And then its added to a stew so as not to waiste. Be careful what you eat. The hotel is nice. Its Trendy. The bar is on the water. Live music varies. And Sunday is fake beast day. I have lived here all my life. It's good but, weekends are busy, boats can pull up and it can get quite crowded and loud. They have added a parking deck highlighted by neon lights. It's pretty but, that's not what makes a place good

Beautiful and clean property. The all-you-can-eat buffet at the hotel was very disappointing and way overpriced. Food was just average. Definitely not worth adding the extra crab legs. While we were there for our visit this week, the power went out on the entire property--and no emergency generator back up came on. Our family was in the middle of showering and getting ready to meet friends off site for lunch, and we were unable to do so for at least an hour while no power. So we just went ahead and left the property. Not sure how long the power ended up being out. No one from the hotel offered any explanation or compensation for the inconvenience.

Got small kids? There are other places. Love a night life? Love drinking? Love the outdoor concert vibe? Love being around 25 to 55 well it's all here. Love the club feel? Yep even one of those too if you like clubbing. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Pricey? Maybe but we had a great time. Close to all nearby hot spots. Parking is Valet. Bring lots of $1 & $5 dollar bills. You will be tipping a lot. Or at least you should be! Are you a mean drunk? This place isn't for you. Wait staff and bouncers don't play. You will get arrested. Spring breakers friendly so be aware of the March April time frame. Book early! Enjoy!

They have a photo contest if you enter beware it's a scam. You can be in 1st 2nd and 3rd place at the end of the contest and they can pick someone else. In the contest we entered we were in 2nd at the end of the contest. To find out that the person in 1st didn't win 1st we didn't get 2nd and 3rd didn't win either. The pictures THEY picked ( a Sheppards employee was in charge of picking a winner) were not even in the top 10. Why vote?? I will never stay there again nor recommend that hotel. That's clearly not right to the people in the top 3 who clearly had to work for votes!!!! Then they have the nerve to offer you a 35% off a stay. Ya that's gonna happen. Just wrong!!!!!

Very fun and comfortable surroundings a great atmosphere

Everything and more! Sweet private beach with views of the boats traveling out to the gulf. Fun, live music, pool, water sports rentals and friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants and shops but they have three wonderful restaurants on property. Rooms are so nice, clean, fresh tropical decor.

2 pricey. Not gud buffet hrs. Sign says 0800am. Truth 2 hrs later. I came09am unopened.

St.patties day was awesome there.. great band... Best place to go dance

Had our company holiday party, other than having to yell over the music it was great! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Expensive, but would recommend highly.

I love shephards all you can eat buffet! The wave night club charges $20 admission no matter how old you are that kinda pissed me off being 35 and still having to pay needless to say I went somewhere else

Buffett at the restaurant was pricey but enjoyable.i went with a group of six and the restaurant accomadated us very well for a Sunday

We recently threw a birthday party in Shephard's Dolphin Room for 57 people. Stefanie the Catering Manager was very accommodating and always got back to my inquiries promptly. The food on our buffet and the butler-style passed appetizers were excellent. The bartender and servers were very friendly and the service was excellent. They all went above and beyond and all my guests were extremely satisfied, as were we. I would definitely throw a party at Shephard's again in the future.

Great resort on the beach and CAN be very fun. I recommend going to see the guys in my video if you can.

Location was nice (close to the beach) and easy to get to. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were rock hard and uncomfortable. Music from the outdoor bar was very loud and made it difficult to fall asleep.

Was just there to check out the other location of Freaky Tiki shop and asked the valet can I just park there to do that without cost and they said I was fine for about 20 minutes and was very friendly about it and let me park my car there and handle my business in the allotted time and no cost to do so, thanks guys!!

WONDERFUL staff, clean, bright and very well kept! Direct access to a small but lovely piece of The Gulf Beach! This was a VERY last minute check in when our initial experience at an other resort (I will not call the other resort out because ... while the accommodation were not up to our standards... the staff was amazing) did not go as planned. When we inquired about accommodation here the staff was extremely helpful and quickly helped us get checked in and settled in. There were 5 of us (our 2 teenage boys, one of their friends and the two of us). We had a studio that slept 5 and while it was a bit crowded it was still very CLEAN. We did not have a water view but that turned out to be a good thing as they tend to keep the party at the pool going well into the wee hours. Live music or DJ at the pool each night of our stay. It was a quick 5 minute walk to main beach access, shopping or to grab a bite to eat. Only about a 10 minute walk to Pier 60. If you re looking for a quiet place to lay your head at night ... this is not it. But if you don t mind (or even enjoy that type of atmosphere) this is a good place to stay! Again I just want to say... AMAZING staff! Thank you for helping us salvage the last few days of our Florida vacation!

Rooms are small and cramped. Beds and pillows and blankets all very uncomfortable. Bathrooms outdated. Stayed here two years ago and security was on top of making sure it was only Shepard s guest in pool. Not this time. The only time any employees cared is when it was time to kick us out at the end of the night. The best part of this hotel is outside, the bands, beach area rental area and pool nice but crowded. But most people here did not even have on wrist bands. So pry were not suppose to be there. Won t stay here again.

Live music all day..only complaint was the techno music that lasted till 1:30am...way too loud..sound repelled off the walls & things on the walls were vibrating...don"t stay Sunday nights if you don't like techno...

The place to be for the night life. Expensive but when you are on vacation. Spend for the right experience

Unfortunately despite quality food in a beautiful setting, the staff left me feeling uncared for. Allowed food that should have been nice to sit out for too long. We were there for a wedding reception. It began to rain. No one collected the discarded plates. Food and rain were splashing all over the guests. When they claim to close the umbrellas, as they must do to safety, they simply told me...I have to close this...very poor behavior for a hospitality worker

So much fun! White sand blue water and even swam along side of some Manatees!
