I never thought in a million years that I would be...

I never thought in a million years that I would be writing a review for a car dealership, let alone a five star review! But truth be told, that's exactly what my experience at Delray Acura and with my sales rep (Irwin Baker) was. Not only did Irwin match the price I was getting from another dealership, but he had me in and out of the dealership in about an hour & a half....that's UNHEARD of in FL!! To the team at Delray Acura, kudos on a job well done!

This is my sixth MDX, the first I've leased through Phil and Delray Acura. Phil and the company made the lease transaction the easiest one I've had so far - I highly recommend both Phil and the dealership.

Between myself, wife, and daughter, this has been ...

Between myself, wife, and daughter, this has been our third Acura (RDX and MDX previously). We've just leased a 2017 ILX for my wife, and found the process easier than most dealerships, having dealt with Phil Jablon and his associate Eric Rice.

Both were cordial and professional, and made the experience, which is usually equated with having root canal surgery, extremely palatable and easy. Other than waiting for a few car trim features (spoiler and side trim) to be installed on the car, we are extremely happy thus far. We believe we received a fair price which included a trade-in of my wife's 11 year old car, and I anticipate seeing them again in April, 2017 for an RDX or MDX.

A new feature I recommend is insurance offered through Zurich Life which covers tires, wheels, dings, and other potential problems for the life of the lease (remember how wheels can get scratched, or worse at car washes, dings?), not to mention flats which are not usually covered, etc.

I would, and have, highly recommended this dealership!

I purchased a car last month for my 17 year old daughter. I looked online and narrowed it down to this dealership. They were professional over the phone as well as in person. When I got to the dealership, I dealt with Roberto Alfamo. He was very personable yet thorough. I had a great and amazingly easy experience! Best of all, my daughter loves her car. I had the worst experience here on Saturday as I was searching for a new car. I couldn t even put my car in park before having Virginia (sales rep) standing outside my door. She proceeded to show me the basic car even though I had expressed interest in a few other models. She didn t offer to have me test drive any other models that I was interested in so instead she told me to just look inside through the window of the car. I also got taken to look at cars in the back of a run down hotel parking lot with ant mounds everywhere. Great first impression and experience! Finally, when another customer came along, she asked her co-worker in front of me, if they could take me even though I wasn t done looking or getting prices. When I told her the color I would want, I was told that wasn t possible and I would have to take what s on the lot..which isn t what I wanted. Luckily, I had the best possible experience at JM Lexus right after and found the perfect car!

While I haven t had the car serviced yet, the sales experience was excellent. I leased an RDX two weeks ago from from Gerald Bucky Whitlock at Delray Acura who I found to be a pleasant, and professional salesman. He took considerable time to listen to our needs and concerns and worked with us to establish a fair price for the vehicle without undo pressure. He facilitated the signing of papers and the transfer from our own car to the new. He sat with us in the car until we were comfortable with all the features of the car. In addition, the next day he took the time to return our previously leased car back to the BMW dealership. Knowing that he was going to expedite the return of the BMW in perfect condition made this deal work for us. He has continued his contact with us over the last two weeks and has encouraged us to stop in to see him about any questions we have about the features in the car. The individual who handled the financial paperwork was also pleasant and professional, making that part of the process a positive experience as well. This was not an easy sale as I was resistant about having to give up my BMW convertible to make a switch to an SUV. However, I continue to be impressed with the car and am very happy with the choice I made. The Acura RDX is lovely.

RLX. The dealership even had the blue color we were looking for. Other dealership did not and made no effort to locate blue. We highly recommend Delray Acura.

*BEWARE SERVICE NIGHTMARE* As a Delray local havin...

*BEWARE SERVICE NIGHTMARE* As a Delray local having an Acura dealership right up the road with 4.+ stars you think great, I will have my car serviced there. *WRONG* If you take a closer look at reviews which span across different sites like Yelp, Angie s list, Dealer Report, and right here - you will find the positive reviews are for their sales team and all negative one star reviews are reserved for their service team. The descriptions of experience are on point and match each time we have brought our car in. What was once a pristine gently used vehicle with no issues drove like a dream, had been fully inspected with no issues or deterioration problems, that was being brought for general maintenance has be returned to us with serious safely issues. We had been told we needed to service our fluids, transmission, brake oil, etc and the the rear brakes were starting to get to a low point and to prevent damage to the rotors to complete the change. Fine OES brake service, fluid service, done. Pay top dollar, go pick up car. Drive it now the car is making a clunking sound. Call back many times before having to drive over, we are told it s normal for sound or to hear new things with new brakes, drop the car off and get a call back. Guess what our rear rotors are now bad. How did that happen, I don t know. How they did not see this as part of their brake service is to service the rotors, I don t know. How they didn t feel this in the car before returning it to us I don t know. Note the car has never been as smooth since. Next, we bring the car in for general service again, balance and oil change. We are given our car back with didn t get you this time, everything looks great drive off and feel a heavy vibration, call 10 times leave 4 messages before calling the main line and asking someone to walk down there. Someone picks up and tells me that it is normal. But bring it in if I am concerned. Bring it in ask to speak with the service manager who I am told is not there, the general manager - also not there. I was asked what the problem is, to which I explained and the lady went to the back and appeared with the service manager. I feel like right there I should have just left. But I stayed shared what was happening and she came back about 15 minutes later saying we see the problem we will let you know. Two hours later I get the call that it s not good news I need two new rear hubs. That apparently my rear wheel assembly had gone bad from normal wear and tear and somehow my wheel being off to the visible eye was missed by mechanics who said my car was good to go withPeople I felt like my car was going to come out from under me. This gross negligence. They gave me a quote of $900+ for OEM or $500 for aftermarket. They offered me $100 off service. Which is an insult. I have taken now 4+ hours of work to deal with their negligence, they put my and my families safety in jeopardy. And worse of all I feel as though the problem was caused directly by their mechanics. I will be bringing it elsewhere to have it evaluated today and go from there. I believe that this service station needs to be reported and the problems addressed and fixed. I am hoping this station is not trying to damage my car so that I buy a new one. - Sad day. World is tough enough as it is. I have three small children and feel lucky that I did not have them in the car and I had the right sense to bring it back.

Purchased a 2013 certified pre-owned Acura TL from this dealership. The experience throughout the purchase was hurried and the sales staff was quite pushy as to be expected at most used car dealerships. The crux with this whole experience was two months after purchasing the car when I found out from several independent mechanics that the tires installed on the vehicle were dry-rotted. In fact, the tires on the car were from 2012. Each mechanic informed that this is a critical safety issue and leaves the vehicle subject to tire blowouts. Upon this discovery, I went back to the dealership in hopes they would remedy the situation. They began to insist that the tires passed their "safety inspection" (hard to understand how that could be) and that they would do nothing to help (after conceding that the tires "had wear" and dry rot and that dry rot does in fact cause tires to blowout). Because of this sheer negligence, I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and am actively pursuing other avenues to alert customers of their unsafe and albeit sleazy practices. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

All I can say is a WOW customer experience! I went in thinking I would experience the typical sales pitch and was prepared to leave if needed. The sales consultant Ron changed that perception from the beginning. He was patient, answered all my tough questions and above gave accurate advice and information. I purchased a car and spent less than an hour total from start to finish. There was no pressure to buy and Ron and his team followed through with everything they said. I will definately return for my next purchase. Kudos to Ron and his team!!

I purchased a 2019 ILX from this dealership in May...

I purchased a 2019 ILX from this dealership in May 2019. I originally gave 5 stars and would still rate Jesus (salesperson) the same 5 stars for providing a good sales experience.

I am editing my review from my last experience with their service department.

So, in between 1,990-2,000 miles on my brand new car, on the back right corner of the antennae cap, paint flaked off. I showed up for my first oil change and bought this to the service adviser's attention. I informed the service adviser what happened and was told it would not be a problem and the part was ordered.

I show up to my scheduled appointment and after sitting there for hours was informed the dealership would not perform the promised work on my car and the service adviser who authorized the work was let go. I was then advised to order touch up paint directly from the dealerships parts dept. At this point half my Saturday was wasted.

I get the paint in (about $20 after shipping) and follow the instructions on the OEM paint pen to the T. I also used something more neutral than the recommended rubbing alcohol to clean the surface.
After applying the paint and wiping off the excess, more paint was removed from my car. I called the dealership and informed them of this and the service department was still unwilling to do anything.

The service adviser, Mr. J Garcia told me to email him some pictures and he would contact corporate. I sent a full email to Mr. Garcia explaining the issue with pictures. I requested to be cc'd on the email to corporate. Over two weeks have passed and I have not been contacted or have received an email.

During waiting for communications, at 5,000 miles I noticed moisture build up in my passenger headlight. I called Delray Acura and asked if this service could be done at another store. Thankfully they said yes.

I took my car to Phil Smith in Pompano and without hesitation they ordered the headlight/enclosure. In addition, I informed them of the obvious paint defect on the antenna cap and how the Delray store handled the situation. They ordered both parts and will be performing service under warranty for both the headlight and antenna cap.

As we know, Acuras are not the cheapest cars and to receive the poor service mentioned above from Delray Acura, it is safe to say I will not be stepping foot in that store again.

Phil is very knowledgeable, patient, and most of all was low keyed and non pressuring person. It was assuring to me that me and my wife mattered as people and not just another possible deal. The entire transaction went very smoothly and I would recommend Phil and the dealership anytime.

I am surprised that Acura allows this dealership to represent their brand. I bought my car here with some concern after reading their reviews . I can't say that my sales experience was awful i went in I bought the car and left. No one even showed me a feature on my car. Dan the sales manager was attentive and accommodating until I did the survey from Acura. Dan was very clear that I needed to give them all 5's that nothing else was satisfactory . He told me that Their pay was tied to it and bribed me with a year of oil changes for an ALL 5 star review. I was shocked at the survey expectations because my experience was nothing close. I recently tried to contact Dan for something who of course before the survey was very reachable and said call me anytime .. Just talk to get a review . I recently took my car in for service . My service advisor was nice enough but they were supposed to wash my car. They said they did but I know how I left it and it came back exactly the same.. Lastly, when I asked the service.advisor why they had such bad reviews on Google . He said all the dealerships do.. Um not true.. Look at your competitors ratings .. They are fantastic . After I use up my free coupons Dan bribed me with I won't be coming back.. It's clear that you simply do not care about the customer service you provide.. I may make it my mission to contact the Acura executive office and make sure they know how badly their brand is being represented .. I'm good at that

Solid vehicle purchase experience at Delray Acura working with Jeffrey Abramowitz. Jeff was personable, straight forward and not at all pushy. Most important to me when buying a car, and in particular as a woman buyer, is respectful straight dealing with the numbers; and the numbers were "AS ADVERTISED" from the start -no game playing with undisclosed add-ins.

Based on my experience, I would certainly return my business to Delray Acura, and I'd recommend this dealership to others for a professional, non-pressure, straight forward buying experience. Also, I want to make a special shout-out to Jennie the smart, patient, and kind young woman who seems to assist with a little of everything including how to work all of the vehicle gadgets. They will rip u off don't trust them they ran my credit and told me what my rate and payment were but would not tell me or show me any of the rates given to them by the ghost banks then I was told to have my mom cosign. Come on am 32yrs old and don't live with mom.There finance dept.would only see today Feb 27. 2017 if I have my mom with me cause they said that they were to busy.Come on but if I have mom then they would have time yep so they want her credit information. Can u believe this was a 15000 deal with 3000 down. Just so we understand payment was 320 72 mths 11.98 but it should have been 275 u figure where the rest when.Dont get ripped off read your paper work closely. What are they hiding so thanks but no

My fiance and I went down to Delray Acura as we were interested in the new 2017 RDX. We greeted with open arms by the Danny, the Manager, and one of the best car salesmen I have ever worked with, Liam. They worked tirelessly to get us the deal we wanted. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient with us as it was the first time my fiance has bought a car. Car Salesman do not have the best reputation, but Liam is the exception to the rule. I would recommend anyone who is looking for trust when buying a vehicle to go down and see him there. He made the car buying experience enjoyable.

Recently visited Delray Acura to see about acquiring a new TLX. We met with Ron Hirsch and had one of the best experiences in dealing with an auto dealership. He made us feel extremely welcome, was very knowledgeable and worked out a very competitive deal. I would not hesitate to recommend Ron and Delray Acura to any of my friends.
We have only had the car for a short period, but are very satisfied with it's initial performance to date. The car handles easy drives quiet and makes us happy that we selected Acura.

I went to this dealership while I was down visiting my parents. I usually go to the dealership in Dunwoody, Georgia (where the staff is always nice). I came here to get a new battery under warranty because I constantly have to jump start my car say twice a week. I come in and Renee (my salesperson) started off being very snobby and uninterested as to what needed to be done. She walked passed my boyfriend and accidentally bumped into him and just kept walking. After about waiting about two hours, without being checked up on, she told me that nothing was wrong and come back when the problem happened again. The problem has continued to happen since I have gone to this dealership. Renee was very rude and seemed uninterested in what the customer wanted and needed to be done. I am very disappointed in this dealership compared to other Acura dealerships. I would not come back here for any reason.

My wife and I just bought a new 2016 MDX. Andrew Bisaccia was our salesperson. I've purchased a lot of new cars in my life (over 30.) Most salespeople I've worked with knew less than I knew about their product. Not the case with Andrew. He literally was the most knowledgeable salesperson I've ever worked with. He knew everything about the MDX. I know that since I'm very technological myself and have had several Acura and Honda vehicles in recent years, all loaded with advanced technology packages. We drive a lot. We use the heck out of the technology. WE know the products. So does Andrew. I cannot tell you how many times a salesperson didn't know the answer to a question so they threw some BS answer at me, hoping I would swallow it. Andrew was nothing like that. The entire sales experience was pleasant. Right down the final business transaction. I've only recommended a dealer a handful of times in my life. Delray Acura and Andrew Bisaccia is now at the top of that list here in South Florida.

We had such a great experience here at Delray Acura! We came from out of town to pick up the car and when we arrived Dan had the car cleaned, full of gas and ready to drive off the lot! He was so helpful and kind answering all of our questions and I highly recommend coming to him for a stress free car buying process!!

Today, we leased our fourth Acura vehicle from Delray Acura. It is the third car that we leased with the help of "our" salesperson, Bill Mitchell. Bill was recommended by our friends who were very satisfied clients of Bill. Clearly, anyone who goes back to a salesperson for the third time is extremely happy with that salesperson. For the past six years, we have consulted with Bill at various times about leasing, buying, financing, car maintenance, and how to operate some of the amenities on the cars we have leased. Bill always makes time to counsel us. We value his advice and knowledge. There was never any question that Bill would be the salesperson to help us find our next car. We couldn't think of higher praise for Bill, he is a gentleman, a wonderful salesperson and makes our car leasing experience the best that we could imagine.

I work in the car business so I can attest without hesitation to the top-notch quality of our leasing experience yesterday at Delray Acura. From the moment we inquired online to the moment we drove off with our new Acura ILX, everything about our time with Delray Acura was exemplary.

Our online contact, Ron Hirsch, was quick to respond to our questions, and set us up with an appointment to meet with Sr. Sales Consultant, Bill Mitchell. Bill was fun and patient and extremely thorough. He teamed well with Sales Manager, Derek Brubaker, and together they fashioned the perfect deal for the perfect car.
