Very nice, very clean, friendly staff, great food....

Very nice, very clean, friendly staff, great food. However, you do have to pay for a pitcher of water to be brought to your room (Php150), which we found kinda odd. But overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Service was very good. I was very impressed when a staff of your cubbies club called me to let me know that my children were done with the activity/ies and they wanted to go back to the room. I was in mass so they took charge of the kids til we arrived.

It was so nice to stay over the weekend. The services were beyond great and our room is so relaxing. One thing I am upset about is that I booked for 3 adults, but in the pool area, only 2 adults were allowed to swim. But its ok, I will definitely stay again at Shangrila. :) Looking forward to book again on June .

The facilities seem a bit old, but it was a calming hotel. I was planning to go to work half and rest half, but I'm sorry that I could not use the pool and spa because most of the work was done. As for the swimming pool, it was not a square swimming pool, but there were many trips alone, so I thought it was a little hard to manage the luggage I placed. The food was very delicious. I want to use it again.

Room is squeaky clean. Love love the toiletries. Add a shaver and a comb next time. Room cleaners are courteous. I love the practice of asking the guest if they need anything. Points to improve- the installed bidet should have a mix of hot and cold water instead of just freezing cold water coming out of it. The mineralized complimentary water should be changed to distilled or purified. Mineral water makes me feel bloated. The Heat is tolerable for two successive brekkies. Afterwards, it becomes somewhat intolerable- you need variety in your menu. Overall- It was a good experience. The lift is very efficient and does not feel scary at all. The front desk people are very professional, quick, and all looking good. The entrance from the garden wing all the way to the lobby is a sad long walk.

Second time I've been here for work. They really do look after you well. Good facilities, friendly staff. It's difficult to fault. The breakfasts are fantastic. Minor niggles... The person coming to fold the corner of your bed down seems a bit redundant. There's only a master light switch on one side of the bed. That's it really. The "going to the loo in the night" lights are great! Room has a kettle, mini bar, etc. and you can control the AC temperature. The mall just across the bridge has lots of shops and restaurants.

Its was a good experience having you as our hotel for the conference. The crew and staff from the check in counter to the waiters are all polite and courteous.
I just had one experienced during our fellowship night. we were eating the lechon outside the ballroom and i called one waiter and order for coke. I was ignored. Maybe he thought I was joking. and no service came. I am not a softdrinks drinker and its rare i order for one. I waited for sometime and no waiter came back. He thought maybe that I am not serious. I just went to our room and got the softdrinks from the mini bar. I told my ofcmate, maybe the waiter thought I wont be paying for the drink. Anyway, i should have made a follow-up.
But just a note that anyone who ordered from the waiter should not be ignored. Especially that we are your regular client. My friends and I also come and dine at the heat sometimes and our company uses your hotel very often.

November 2019 2 nights Selected for a 4-year-old grandson. Club room use
The cleanliness of the room is kept and bed making is just right.
I thought it would be better to replace the mini-bottles in the mini-bar because they were very old or the labels were worn out.
I feel that other facilities do not disappoint.
The breakfast at HEAT on the 1st floor was very good, and my Filipino wife said that Filipino cuisine was particularly delicious. It is pleasant from the morning that the person who seems to be the chef in the hall is giving instructions while being around. Especially TAHO's performance is the best
The club lounge was nice, but I couldn't relax with just the dining chairs.
I want the number of couches to increase the most.
I ordered a parasol at the pool, but it was refused.
Sauna & jacuzzi is comfortable.
However, you should have a swimsuit.
Japanese people may be embarrassed to sit with other users if they go naked and take a bath.
It s one of the most comfortable hotels, it s definitely a choice.

HEAT kept on billing us wrong. But was fixed after a lengthy explanation. I was aked by the waiter to email my ID to their email address and was aked to return to the front desk. In short was.passed around. The food both dinner and bfast took almost an hour to arrive. I guess the kitchen is undermanned. The experience was not at par compared to Mactan.

This hotel always exceeds my expectations. The staff is wonderful, attentive to all people, jumps to help with anything I need and is a pleasure to talk to. I would especially want to recognize the RM Ms. Chi on her support and attention to all my needs while I stayed there. Also is Ms. Lui who never stops smiling and makes everything she does look so easy. I will always come back to this hotel.

It was a very pleasant stay, the staff was very helpful. I did not rate an excellent as my experience in the lobby bar was mediocre, having ordered a burger with cheese, it came without cheese and the staff was very friendly but not paying attention to the signs of several customers in need for something. Nothing really to complain, but far away from being excellent.

I love the Shangri-La phone app. Booking a room anywhere around the world is very convenient. Checking in and out is also a breeze, thanks to the mobile check in and check out feature. Always a joy to be staying in a Shangri-La hotel.

I didn t receive though my welcome amenity of fruits as a Gold Golden Circle Member benefit when we checked in.

Edsa Shangri-la is the only Shangri-la I will not come back to. We have always booked in Shangri-la BGC and Shangri-la Mactan and we always have a superb experience.

As we alight our vehicle and asked the bell boy to help us with our stuff he pointed to the trolley so that we could carry our stuff and put them in the trolley. Looks like you pay your bell boys to be bystanders.

The carpet is very dirty. We were sneezing the whole time. In fact we are now sick and cannot enjoy the holiday season anymore.

I cannot believe there is only 1 setting of a plate. There are 4 of us in a room. 2 adults and 2 kids. So at the very least you should have given 4. But when we asked for 3 other setting guest services asked us that it would be charged?! My goodness. I would understand having 1 setting for a single occupancy but for a guest of 4?

There were mistakes in the billing from the lounge restaurant. So they had to go up the room even though it was past 10pm and it was way past the kids bedtime to sleep. Phone kept ringing also so they weren't able to sleep on time.

Plus of this hotel was their decoration, the pastries during breakfast.

That's it. Won't go back to this hotel again.

We arrived at the hotel surprised that the parking area is does not prioritize staying clients. This is because there is an event held during that time. Id like to park and unpack our belongings myself but we have to wait for a vacant parking to be available which stresses my kids. I hope you would address this issue in the future where there should be an available parking for staying clients.

Check in and out was just like other hotels. They allowed us to check in 12 nn.
Welcoming or anniversary set up was simple & ordinary: small cake and swan towel set up.
Towels looks old, ironing board looks dirty, as well as the kettle. In other hotels, they already use nespresso machine.
Although we were upgraded in tower wing as they said, I wonder how garden wing looks like if tower wing is already an upgrade.
Breakfast have alot of choices but quality and taste wise will not pass the taste of someone who've tried different hotel buffets.
Swimming pool was nice as well as the life guard. Manny gives simple tricks on how to swim properly.They just do not stare and look around. They observe and assist the customers. There's free water and fruits in the pool area.
Overall, nothing so fancy or wow experience.

Please make efforts to improve your parking/valet. For guests checked-in at the hotel make sure either parking is easily accessible or ensure that valet is free. There is no sense stating in your reservation that guests may avail 2 parking slots (and I had 4, for getting 2 rooms) only to be told that parking is full, then you pay for P150 everytime you need your car to go somewhere. That was really frustrating, and is not expected from a "Shangri-la" stay.

The room just smells like old furniture! Our ring was stollen from our room !!! Had no compensation or any apology. The 5 star hotel it should definately take one star down 4 or 3 stars max. I would never go to that place anymore!! U the reader of this feedback please go look out belmont it worths its money morethan this place 100%!! Too bad.very dissapointed

Very comfortable beds, I slept so well in my bed for the week, beautiful lounge with wonderful entertainment each afternoon ( live music).
I also want to note that the staff were absolutely amazing during my stay. Sadly on Aug 30th I got sick and I can honestly say the hotel duty manager Ian Mendiola, then entire team along with the amazing Nurse and Doctor Joy at the clinic were fantastic!
They allowed me have a later check out and ensured I got the necessary medical care to ensure I could take the long flight back to Europe. I want to highly commend Ian the duty manager the nurse and the doctor .. such personal care and attention, although I was alone in Manila I felt cared for. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Perhaps there is nothing that can be done, but it was never possible to get to our rooms or exit the hotel without going through or around everyone in line or crowded around the main reception desk. Additionally, it's confusing to enter the main the lobby for the first time and find that the reception desk is out of view over on the right hand side. One or two large arrow signs pointing towards the main reception desk would be helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet and the beds among the most comfortable I've ever experienced.

The bed and pillows are so comfy. Staff are courteous too. I enjoyed their complimentary sauna and jacuzzi. They just need to improve on how they man the traffic on their drive way. It's clogged by insensitive drivers and nobody is there to man it. Valet service takes a long time too

We have wonderful 3 nights stay. Your crew did wonderful job to ease-up the stay quite relaxing. Special mention to Jay at housekeeping (4th floor) always check with us at Rm.415 for special needs, and the security folks at the lobby, your crew at the lobby coffee shop did outstanding service that is all appreciated. Please keep it up. I will be back to the hotel in future trip toPH.

We stayed here a couple of nights and often dined at Heat buffet restaurant. Also held events there. All I can say is, their service is consistently excellent and a benchmark for the hotel industry.

Family favorite among the Metro hotels for a staycation. This is a resort-like hotel as compared to the Makati Shangri-la sibling, which is more business-oriented.

Love eating at HEAT.

The hotel's proximity to two large malls provides ample choices for shopping and dining.
