This high class department store has so many high end items from perfume to clothing and I love the range the staff are professional and helpful. The clothing has a younger edge to it and you wouldn't find as many ties or cufflinks like before.
Some of the people standing around with iPads need more training, I got sent to the wrong department, with the wrong information.
Thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience here, lots to see and do, plenty of inspiration for the home and the Christmas Emporium was wonderful.
High end shopping but very crowded and hard to locate what you need
Men , this is an expensive shopping center..but with lot of brands. There is nothing that can't be found there.
I am told it is good place to shop! Spent an enjoyable few hours at Dolly's cafe in the basement of selfridge's while wife, stepdaughter and friend did the shopping thing. Great place to people watch or sit and read. They do an excellent salt beef sandwich and expresso coffee is pretty good to. Dolly's is situated in a location that is open so that you can see straight up to the top floor, some interesting architecture to look at.

I now get all of my high end clothing here instead of the flagship stores (Stone Island ,Prada etc) as the customer service is the best I've encountered.The flagship stores could learn some excellent customer service skills from guys..greeted with a smile and super helpful ..Thanks

This place is a shopping experience like no other. Under one roof you'll find everything from High St brands, right through to the uber lux. There is everything in here you could possibly want to eat, drink, wear, put in your house or take away on a holiday.
Amazing end of season sales, you can find quite the bargain if you're prepared to scamper through racks

Alto rooftop bar was so lovely. Really tasty cocktails and food. The only issue was the waiting time, but the way it was set up was beautiful. I d recommend trying the basil cocktail - very refreshing!

It is a nice place to roam about but when it comes to buying it is not at all a cheap place . Only if you can find a good sale then only you can buy and many of the products are overpriced . There are some brands where there are reasonable prices but you gotta find out those places so good luck for that.

Always a great experience and big spend when in Selfridges..the choice is extensive, the quality and service is always the best- so always worth it.

I am a sales associate working in Selfridges for one of the most iconic brand. In two days my last day of work (officially will be August the 4th). I was helping one of my loyal client and during our conversation I notice a lady staring at us. She start complaining that we were simply chatting and she needs immediate help. Info: this lady just step in store 10 seconds before and other clients were waiting to be helped before her. Careless she start shouting at me and my client was shocked. I kindly invited her to just wait a bit and someone surely would help soon. I thought she was alone but straight after a man, when I was still explaining to her that no one was free at that moment, start raising his voice and come close to me trying I guess to take my arms like he wanted to say you need to listen to me and to what I m saying . He was very aggressive and before him to touch me I stepped back and said do not touch me please as we are instructed to do in these circumstances. Careless the man kept going with sentences like we are clients like everybody else and we must be helped , still with voice very loud. My client tried to explain as well that we were not chatting but I was helping them and he just kept going staring at me and all of a sudden he said: YOU STUPID GAY MAN.
I called security and nothing has been done, yet I hope. I m feeling so humiliated and no for the words that have been said, of course these words affected me anyway, but for the silence around the situation. Shame on Selfridges for this little support or actually for disappearing completely. Even if I asked to escalate the situation still till today didn t hear back from any members of Selfridges staff. Putting rainbow colours all around the mall doesn t really show support if when these things happened there s only silence.

Everyone knows this is a smashing department store. I was here for an interview so went behind the scenes. Suspect it hires on a looks alone basis. I didn't get the job (obviously) hence the 3 stars.

The department store with everything and some more. Nice eating, shopping and service. You can easily spend too much time and money here on fine things. Extra fun with the Japanese food and "walking" table.

Lovely department store, the best one on Oxford Street, selling high end goods.
Ground floor can be a little busy with tourists just looking around. Not great if you are in a hurry to do your shopping.
You'll find everything you need from all high end labels in this store.
The food court is not much of a food court like in some other department stores. It's very basic.
Huge store that is no doubt the place to find your favourite designer labels in London, from the more haute brands such as Dior and Louis Vuitton, to streetwear inspired like Off White and Undercover, to the more niche, cult brands like The Soloist and W<. Be sure to visit the ground floor food sections for some good food and baked goods for later, and the bottom for its expansive technology section!
For such a luxury store Selfridges has some of the most basic and small capacity ladies toilets! And not on every floor either! You have to queue to get in. Not great customer care to say the least. Very disappointing!
