A lovely place to shop, dine and spend a wonderful a day
Great selection, nicely presented, but too expensive for me
Good places shop all under One Roof even when it's sunny
Gigantic shop, well worth a visit. Lots of everything and things to explore. Premium brands at premium prices and everything else is slightly pricey. Cafes, furniture, clothes, electronics, homeware, books, food... a wide selection of everything you need.
Lovely place to shop. From designer bags shoes, to all the top brand make ups.
I love selfridges
It's always good to shop here. Got some great unique notebooks. I love the choice as a result of all of the different concessions.
Insane place. Perfect spot to find everything from perfumes to biscuits.
Great Store, however as expected very busy avoid on the weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful too
This is a great place to visit but not really for shopping
Iconic department store for your luxury or day-to-day shopping alike.
It's the one and only Selfridges. What more do you want from a store like this...
Excellent service. Excellent variety. Simply excellent.
selfridges concession kurt geiger kids wear on the 4 floor
I applied for a job on last Wednesday I went for an interview on last Friday the manger got my hopes up in the interview and made it sound like I done good in the job interview am very unhappy because they were meant to get back to me this week I had to go Selfridges my self and ring up to see if I was successful or not I think the management is very poor and I wouldn't like anyone else to go though this so if your gonna apply for Selfridges don't apply for concession at kurt geiger kids wear you will regret it am tell you
A definite must to visit on any tip into the city extra special at Christmas time.
Must see due to the history but overpriced like harrods when harrods is much better.
Expensive shopping mall but has the most amazing food in the food hall.
It has a good kids section for the designer hunter.
Love this shop! Emporium of everything and open late
Nice department store. I bought Samsonite luggage here and was cheap
Great store, excellent tourist attraction. Expensive though.
Selfridges is fun to shop for medium to higher-end merchandise, but a bit of a maze, and despite store signage, some of the departments like technology are difficult to find. Bring breadcrumbs to drop so you can find your way out. The staff is a good mix of availability without being pushy.
Ridiculously busy, lots to see, plenty of staff about to help if needed, the store was very clean and tidy until....my daughter needed the bathroom, we were told there were none on the floor where the food and coffee shops were so had to wait until we were done as couldn't really leave our things and good job waited as we were in the que the ladies for nearly a hour! Only 3 working/open cubicles, it was like walking into another place all together.
Selfridges is a great department store, it's always trying to improve the way it looks and always has amazing things. However, lately (before the xmas hype started) the service has been terribly slow for everything, from paying at different brands, to getting help. Even trying to buy a bagel took forever.
The salt beef in the Brass Rail Ruben is thickly cut, which I'm not a fan of, but I know some people like. It wasn't hot, which I sound disappointing, and the cheese was tasteless and became rubbery straight away (because it also got cold from the beef). The guy next me was was also upset because my half sandwich was bigger than his whole one. The service was nice though and pretty quick.
Beautiful old building in Oxford Circus. Outstanding service and experience. All the great brands in one place. Highly recommended.
FAO Huda Beauty Counter- Amazing service & lovely staff. Booked a makeup session here and it was perfect.
Not luxury but high end high street. For luxury Harvey Nichols and Harrods win hands down.
Great place if you have money to burn and an interest in designer brands. The food Hall is also varied and it is worth a visit even if for only some window shopping.
Only appear to be 2 lifts in this huge store, small ones at that, 1 of which had a life of its own and didn't respond to buttons pressed, just seemed to be going up and down randomly. Lift also not "patient", door voice telling you doors closing as soon as they've opened.
Big store for designer and luxury items and products.
Selfridges is a beautiful mall with almost all famous brands of make up, clothes and much more! It's an excellent place to go for shopping.
Very good department shop. Large with pleasant staff.
Brass Rail in Selfridges is easily one of the best affordable places to eat on Oxford Street.
Somewhat single-minded menu of Salt Beef but if it's that good why sell anything else?
Make sure to get a Fentiman cola, ginger beer or Lemonade. They are equally great.
Helpful staff++. Lots of selection available. Main entrance is in the middle of the perfume - could be a problem if you have sensitivity.
Visited for the first time and only checked the men's clothing floor. They seem to have it all (I mean, all on the more expensive premium side) plus many labels I haven't seen anywhere else before. Have your credit cards ready! ;)
One of the most popular malls in London, nice to be in
Visited Selfridge's in September 1999, before amazon was the de-facto for many people. This was a one stop shop for all one could need, albeit not at prices all would be comfortable or able to pay. But the attention to detail and personal touch was something that I will never forget - my visit was to purchase a suit jacket, last minute. My family was attending a wedding the next day and my suit bag was misplaced by british airways, who themselves were great, they instructed me to buy a replacement and they would re-imburse us regardless of if they found my bag. I am sure I just got a super empathetic employee from BA. the experience at Selfridge's was very spot on! I was fitted and ready to go within an hour and never felt like I was "bothering" anyone and was made to feel like I mattered!
Albeit these were not normal circumstances and I was only in London for 3 days, I've not seen the like in any other clothing retailer since, but I dont expect to, the way we do business has completely changed, at times i do miss the way shopping used to be, i would gove up the online choice for 1000000s of the same item to save 5 pennies, and visit a local shop instead.
its what the UK high street should be.
not just a shop ,a retail experience.
huge range of products, knowledgeable staff.
they keep modernizing, the window displays are just the best on Oxford st.
In my opinion, it's number one shopping centre in London.
Watch out for spoilt rich kids. They need more places to sit too and when ur at the perfume section the staff need to stop staring at u when ur trying them.
Large store so sometimes confusing but has everything you could need
Worth the visit for the history even if you can't afford much there
