Generally great. But probably is the only place in the world were the Louis Vuitton and Kenzo staff can be more gentle with random customers than the Ted Baker/Women department one: you spend for coats and scarfs and ask if they can give you better ones because they were on display while paying... the shop assistant starts to complain in public about this normal request (in the end it is not her money so why she would care).

Very unprofessional, some mystery shopper needed to teach her how to do her (very basic) job.

A little pity they changed to using these 2-coloured bread, but the quality of the salt beef is just top class, accompanied by the Swiss cheese and pickles, a must-try whenever visit London or Selfridges.

This mall is one of the high end with variety of products like jewlery, fragrance, clothes and home items. There are variety of designer clothes and shoes available in this mall. The price is expensive. It was in my expecation. The Christmas decoration is one of the kind attract everyone and feeling the holiday vibe. However, the sales agents are not good enough to give privacy for shoppers. They follow people and ask so many questions. If you are like my type, you may not like this. Overall it is great experience to shop here.

Selfridge's is a huge department store that will not be to everybody's taste but you can buy just about anything you want there. I was interested in the technology department and headed straight there. There is a great amount of technology and the staff do not hassle you. There are plenty of staff to ask for help if you need it and the staff are well trained to be quite knowledgeable about the items!

This is only talking about the Tiffanys store in Selfridges... HORRIBLE experience!!

VERY Poor customer service: I bought my husband's wedding band and he bought my engagement and wedding ring there so you could say that we could have been treated like decent customers.
The staff never called us back after our rings were ready and I had to phone 5 days past the due date to check that yes, they were waiting for us in the store for a week.
The staff also wanted us to pay to engrave our rings: after spending more than enough over there, they could have offered it !

I really don't recommend this store AT ALL!! The products are great but you'll regret spending your money there due to customer service

An iconic building from the outside maintaining it's architectural elegance from the time of Harry Gordon Selfridge including those huge pillars and the beautiful wooden entry doors. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Very busy.

I only bought a few sale Christmas decorations, I was feeling low but the glamour of Selfridges cheered me up. It's a beautiful shop! A must visit when in London. I first visited more than 59 years ago and it just gets better.

Selfridges appears to have taken a real dive of late. The toilets were messy, dated and had 10 mins queues. The staff were not attentive and I found myself constantly waiting for them to finish conversations with other staff or their mates before they'd help me. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Just like Harrod's,the "whowww" effect,it's all there, top provider, the shop is regularly re-shaped,re-done,improved,please note the roof terrace,a cool place to have a break. Nothing really cheap(that's the quality, service and location you're paying for) but they still have "sales" once or twice a year, january for sure...check their website.

I visited The store yesterday in search of a watch. I found the piece I was looking for at Bucherer it was an Audemars Piguet and I was seved by Lee. He provided me with an excellent level of service, very professional at the same time made me feel comfortable In a safe environment. His knowledge was impressive and knew exactly how to answer all of my difficult questions. Lee is a credit to the store and because of him I will return very shortly to purchase another watch from him. Keep up the good work Lee, see you soon.

Went to try out the new roof bar but it was closed! So we settled in the downstairs bar which was nice, small but nice. We had to wait a little longer than usual for drinks as they serve regulars first but they gave us a free glass of champagne! Great place for shopping- everything you need under one roof if you are rich!

Beautiful stock selection in clothing, accessories and homewares, lovely architecture but in-store displays terribly tacky. Wonder room is terribly disappointing. Even if it's only there for historic purposes, there's certainly nothing worth seeing, let alone wonderful in that room!

Extremely horrinle salespeople. Dont even recognise the fact tht customers pay their salaries! Extremelynsnooty and not intersted in making a sale. Goes withoit saying that it doesnt apply to all. Went to buy a pair of spectacles and selected one as well, but was so put off my the snootiness of the staff at the opticians section that I decided to buy from elsewhere; definitely no dearth of shops in London! Perhaps they mightnlearn to provide non-monosyllabic responses to customers' questions!

Top.

My al time fav department store. It s set out nicely and very modern and much easier to deal with than Harrods. The only downside is it s always very busy, but love all the brand they stock and a nice store to walk around. They are also dog friendly.

For the exceedingly high reputation this store has, we were greatly disappointed with our experience. I felt as though there was an element of complacency within staff and they lacked interest when it came to attending to our needs and answering our questions. This was also perceived through their blunt behaviour. The climax of our experience was at the tax refunds office. Receiving a tax refund is a process that involves getting a ticket stamped with a number and waiting for that number to be called which indicates that it is my turn to go to the desk. One minor mistake that a lady made costed us an abundance of time. The lady at the reception had our number printed with the ticket upside down and at the time, she did not notice either! She said that the number was 60. We waited for about half an hour and when our number was called, someone had a ticket with the same number as us! At this point, we were informed that the ticket number was 06! We were tired, frustrated and thoroughly annoyed!! This isn't even the end of our shocking experience! We received another ticket and the same thing happened again. The receptionist gave the ticket with the number printed upside down and did not notice. He told us that it was 66 when in fact it was 99. We found this out in the early stages when we saw another person with the same number as us. What I found disappointing was the fact that the staff weren't accommodating for the mistakes that they made. We had to wait for a new ticket each time! When we entered the food court, we thought that for the high prices would result in good food! We paid a hefty price and ended up with three small spring rolls dripping in oil. I would recommend asking questions in regard to the portion size before purchasing a food item. It definitely was a dreadful experience, but it was one to remember!

I'm not really into this building at all. It certainly looks impressive on the outside, imposing even. But it certainly in need of a lot of investment on the inside. It is tired-looking and chaotic. In desperate need of a decent architect and some serious work. Other than that it has a huge selection across all different departments. My favourite is the electronics which, by the way, has the best floor plan of all departments.
