An amazing shop which is massive. You can easily spend the whole day here looking around the different sections. They have everything from suits to causal wear to Hypebeast clothing brands and designer.
However sometimes stock is low in smaller shops not giving you the best experience.
This shop is massive with lots of brands but is also very easy to get lost in this shop .

Always an amazing experience. The place is huge and filled with some of the loveliest and most expensive clothes you'll ever see. Staff are well informed and helpful and they are happy to let you wander around and touch the things for sale (carefully of course). There is no pressure to buy anything which is nice. The stars of the store for me have to be the ladies who work in the lingerie fitting service. They are amazingly professional, cheerful and helpful, and can take one look at you and know your size, then explain how a bra should fit and demonstrate with the samples they bring. It was a fantastic experience and all completely free. Be wary though - you need to book ahead.

Such a magical place for a girl. You can find everything here. Bought a purse that wasn't available online and it was on sale. Only issue is finding parking but i guess that's central London for you.

Probably the best of the London department stores, arguably a nicer place to visit than Harrods if you're visiting from overseas. Great food court and fantastic fashion selection.

Staff were very friendly, top notch customer service, they really make you feel welcome, not snobs at all as we Initially thought as the shop has a very high reputation as it sells very expensive designer brands, even though we looked very minimum wage we were greeting by a man in a sharp suit and top hat at the door who approached us and chatted about what brands we might like, everything was as expected very expensive but they also had more affordable brands, everything was tidy and displayed in an easy to find what you are looking for way. Overall really impressed by the service and shop in general. Would highly recommend even if you are a lil broke boy like me, it was just nice to look around.

Been a customer for over 30 years. While having a great range of audio visual products. I wanted to purchase a set of high end open back headphones, (A) The staff member did not want to take a part out of a fresh box and (b) the second open back headphones I got to try were un listenable due to the noise level in the store. For all of its glitz & glam, it's a shadow of its former self. Unskilled and poor customer service.7

I would have expected better from such a pricy store. I went mid day on a Wednesday and had to wait in a long line to access a change room and also quite a long line to make a purchase. The change rooms did not even have mirrors. I have been to much cheaper department stores with much swifter service. Selfridge's need to invest in more changing facilities and staffed cash registers.

Good selection of stores and range of places to eat. The store is well laid out and accessible for those with disabilities. There are plenty of toilets in a good condition. The staff helped us find what we needed and this made the trip quick and easy with our young daughter. Some of the stores are a bit pricey, but generally reasonable, a good place to shop for gifts.

When you're spending a considerable amount of money at a place like Selfridges, you expect a certain level of customer service which during the past 2 years or so, I felt I have not been getting.
The customer service reps appear as if they're not bothered most of them. At the Saint Laurent area, I was waiting for ages to be served, expecting someone to approach me and ask if I wanted help. Instead, the workers that were free were busy speaking to each other completely ignoring me even though I was staring right at them. I had to call them several times before one fella by the name of David eventually came. I reluctantly baught a very expensive bag and wallet - the products looked great but the service put me off' spending that kind of money there. The nicest staff I found were at the children's sections - clothing and toys.
Dining at the restaurant on the very top floor, food was mediocre. The man serving me at the till was incredibly rude. No eye contact, and literally no communication at all! The total of my purchase appeared on the screen - he couldn't even be bothered to open his mouth and say how much I needed to pay!
It's really disappointing because I've been shopping at selfridges for 20 years and I have noticed the service decline. Not all staff are terrible. There are some real gems but unfortunately I felt they were few.

A beautiful historic building very clean and tidy throughout. All staff very polite and helpful. Very easy to navigate and some great shopping. It s huge, diverse and located right in heart of Central London at Oxford Street. It s a multiple floor building exhibiting excellent blend of classical architecture with modern vibes. The variety is winner here as you can allure whatever your budget is, unlike the uber-expensive celebrity-centric Harrods. The dining options at the lower ground serve good food at competitive prices. If you are a tourist, there is a large VAT refund lounge at the upper floor. Highly recommended!

A venerable Canadian owned department store competiting with Qatari owned Harrods since a century. Mostly same top brand names but much less people and nicest staff. Do not forget the high tech store on -1.

I just want to commend the Click and Collect team at Selfridges Oxford Street. Especially Isabella, Tania and Reine. Who were so kind and helpful on my pick up, and sorry to say returned items, but they remembered me, and were spiffing and amazing. So well done
Boosh flap about all the floors turning wildly fro...
Boosh flap about all the floors turning wildly from this to that. Old school capitalism has it tricks, playing you this way and that giving you all the treats you don't ever need but you want. Take out the wallet, pick up the plastic, pound down that pound coin, it's all to be bought at bare prices. That cake in the window gets you in. The display of displays deepens your pockets, so hop on it, buy buy buy. New capitalism's gonna see it gone mind. Clicks for shelves. But that's the free market for ya. One thing just replaces another and we think it's progress. Ah the sweet illusion of choice. Nice shop.

I really like this place, reminds me a childhood in one hometown shopping center. Very well organized, unfortunately always so crowdy. I personally like eating level with loads of healthy options. Also, it is definitely worth to visit during Xmass due to its beatiful decorations!
