The worst shopping experience so far, shop layout is non existing, it's like walking through Marrakesh market but instead of goat you buy a lipstick. It just screams pretentious on every step : DJ playing his laptop life surrounded by Instagram queens taking pictures with their yellow paper bags. If this shop is looking for a coat of arms, selfie stick would be best recommendation.

If you are thinking of surprising someone with a box of special chocolate from Selfridges this Xmas or any other time, think again. See what is advertised and offered and what is actually delivered!!! Old, stale, mouldy pieces of odd assortment instead of bespoke chocolates. Giving refund without any further explanation and reassurance that it would not happen again, it is not what Selfridges stands for, or is this a sign of things to come.....

No wonder all the antiquated stores are disappearing from the high streets. Useless disinterested, discourteous staff lacking product knowledge and being Customer-unfriendly will assist in its demise. Good luck.

Managerial and beauty department staff are fine . The other staff are slow and don't have a clue.
You should know all your products inside out.
I go to Harrods because they don't ever use the words
NO / I'm not sure .
Some areas in the basement have no one on the counter.

This was our favourite destination in London. Oxford Street is awesome, but Selfridges was the highlight. Got a nice piece of jewellery to match what I bought in Top Man down the road and we will be back whenever we re-visit Blighty.

Selfridges is a fun place to go for a walk around. Even if you don't plan on buying anything, just go for a stroll. Lots of things to see, a nice foodhall etc. If you do want to buy something, it is very expensive for the most part but part of that expense is in its reputation of selling quality goods.

We had a wonderful customer service experience at sesame with Mohammed in selfridges. He was very knowledgeable and made helpful recommendations and encouraged us to get a large selection that we hadn't planned on without feeling like we had been upsold. He was polite and helpful and did not hesitate to label and explain ingredients storage and his personal favourites. Additionally there was a customer ahead of us who asked him so many unnecessary questions which he handled with grace and patience

Nothing less than 5 stars will do justice. Steeped in history, a heaven for retail therapy. All the major international fashion brands available. If you are loaded, then this is the place to be if you want to test the buying power of your money. Great ambience, well decorated. Can get busy at times.
