A wide range of selection but is so incredibly crowded it is hard to even move around. In effect, the service is not as good as it should be as well for a department store carrying premium brands. Despite that, it is a one stop shop for clothing, accessories, food, home goods and more!

It's grandeur, filled with lovely scents from the perfume stands around and full of light. Different stores have their stalls around where they display their products and try to woo customers to try on their products. The ambient is also serene with lovely background music to make melody in your ears.

First time I have been here to the food halls. Wide variety of food available, both ready to eat and to take home.

It became apparent why as the bottle you get with it is to take home, which I thought was rather wasteful. See picture for indication of the size.

Furthermore returning the bottle gives no cash back or anything, so not incentivesed to help recycling. Which is a missed opportunity.

At least they are not using plastic staws....

On Oxford street and sort of a traditional "we have to go in here" shop. But it was very crowded on a Saturday evening when I went. So packed you couldn't walk round to browse. Unless you want to buy make up or perfume (which is easily bought somewhere else) or you want to get some very high end market designer clothes it's not really worth shopping in. It was decked out beautifully for Christmas which was nice to look at but booming speakers with crass music blairing was very off putting.
There was a nice pop up Christmas section on one of the higher floors but again just too packed to walk around comfortably. There seemed to be a lack of staff oddly enough such that queing was made slower.
Would not go again unless off-season

This is the store that started it all in the early 1900's. It's amazing to think that people walked around this building over 100 years ago. An unbelievable range of products for everyone in the family (with disposable income). You can purchase anything here, every designer label is represented. 5 out of 5...

Excellent department store - wide variety of goods. Staff have great knowledge of the products they sell. Unfortunately, it is rather pricey, so I usually on go when they have a sale on!

Thought I would write a review about Selfridges although it is currently closed due to the Pandemic.
This famous and iconic London store opened to the public on March 15th, 1909 by Harry Gordon Selfridge.
It is the 2nd largest retail space after Harrods.
One of the most noticeable parts of the facade is right up top "Queen of time"
Unveiled in 1931 to mark the store's 21st birthday, the 11ft tall (3Metre_ sculpture was designed by Gilbert Bayes, and is created from bronze.
The chimes are an audible delight on Oxford Street.
Apparently the roof top terrace is back in use after many years not been up there yet but intend to.
Great shop to visit with lots to buy inside

Architecturally please ring building. I go for the make up section and all the alternative skincare products. They always have the latest trends but if you want to go with stable products they have that too.

Wonderful department store with diverse ranges, focussing mainly on international level brands. A place to wander and get lost in but avoid the peak times when it gets very busy. Their bar is a welcome relief too.

Cheek, neater than previously, friendly staff, some lacking of welcoming or the least a simple warm genteel touch to finish off your long hectic day swiftly, left the store with a wonderful night night farewell ;)
