GOD AWFUL customer service. Their plans suck and when you speak to a representative they are not helpful at all. I work at a clinic where we go through insurance's all the time and just trying to speak to their representatives was a nightmare. Find another insurance company.

I have loved every second of being with select health! i have been insured with this company for going on 4 years and am so grateful for their kind service, and amazing options. I love that when i get a call i can go directlt to an actual person.

We've had Selecthealth for years and they're mostly great. They are expensive though. We also had something come up recently so we called the member services number to find the closest instacare in network but the line is closed on Sundays. Don't they realize people get hurt on weekends too?! We also had an issue where we called to find a specialist, they recommended one but then we got a bill because he wasn't in network yet. We filed a claim against this though and they rebilled us as if he was in network. I know all insurance is expensive and they all have a "network" that is a hassle to figure out and work around but it doesn't mean they should be this way. I also feel like I pay enough they should have someone I can talk to (not just a website or automated voice) 24/7.

Spoke with a select health rep on the phone about the changes to my plan form 2016 to 2017. Rep told me no changes would be maid and didn't need to do anything. My policy went up by over $100 with no notification. If the rep had been honest or informed I would have made changes.

Very quick to answer the phone! I appreciate the information provided for both simple and complex questions. The representative was able to provide the services I needed and made it so easy! She listened intently and was friendly and knowledgeable!

Ashley was the single best representative I ve ever interacted with. Somehow we got disconnected mid conversation. She called back in less than 30 seconds so we could continue the application to completion. I even made a mistake on the app and she called back to let me know and to find out the correct info. This girl is a flat out *ROCKSTAR*. She deserves every promotion she bound to get.

I am disappointed that Select Health wont cover a specific need for myself as a patient and it is due to the fact that Select Health cant change an office address without canceling a contract with that location. I'm now being charged for things that would have previously been covered. I would hope in the future, that when these kinds of clerical error on the part of Select Health happen, that I wouldn't be the one who has to suffer for it.

I ve had SelectHealth for years. My son was born while we were on a SelectHealth plan and he was very sick as a baby, and I m incredibly grateful for all the help I received as our family navigated such a difficult time. The ability to message our pediatrician through the website was critical during his illness, and of course the financial help was essential when he was in the hospital.
Since then, SelectHealth has helped us stay healthy with preventive care, and I ve been impressed with the quality of their customer service. I don t want my family to be insured by anyone else! Thank you, SelectHealth, for being an insurance company I can trust.

Scam artists pretty much, they don't care about there policy holders at all. Absolutely horrible people and company. I'm switching insurances now. I'm warning all people to stay away from them before you get screwed over. I don't even want them to get 1 star cause they deserve 0!!!!!

Select Health insurance has been really great for me! I have been able to receive the Health care I have needed and wanted, and the support of Select Health. They are always helpful and they listen well and provide support. I recommend them to anyone looking for a health care provider!

Just had a great experience with Audrey at Member Services and with Cameron in Enrollment. Audrey quickly identified Cameron's dept to help with my question, and Cameron helped me focus on key details to answer my enrollment question. I know exactly what to do next now.

This past year or so, I've had more than one excellent experience with SelectHealth, and I've noticed the excellent training and general approach, both in working with people and with finding solutions. They really do what they claim to do.

This is the first review I have ever written in my life. So that right there tells you how bad this is. This insurance company along with it's staff members are a complete joke. I have suffered with mental illness for more than half my life. I have tried everything to get better and nothing has ever helped me. As I got older things got worse and I decided to seek better professional help. I even went as far as flying to LA with my own money and getting in depth treatment to figure out how to help my symptoms wich cost me thousands of dollars. Over the last two years my symptoms have gotten dramatically worse. I have seen so many Psychiatrist I've lost count. On different occasions I have not only had 1, but 6 different Psychiatrist tell me they think it would be in my best interest to go to a residential facitly due to the severity of my symptoms.There is no residential facitly in Utah that specializes in what I need and have the level of care I need. The Psychiatrists I saw recommend a facility in Wisconsin. This past May, after waiting a dreaded 8 months to even get into the facilty, I flew out to get the help I so desperately needed. Again, I spent two thousand dollars out of my own pocket. Prior to arriving to Wisconsin I had been in close contact with the facility to make sure thing were good to go.They said they had worked with Select Health before and were not worried about the coverage. I was also in close contact with Select Health and did everything I was told to do in order to get out of network benefits so I thought I was good. The day I got there I was contacted by Select Health basically asking what the hell I was doing. So after making progress for the first time ever in my life and after a short time I had to come home because they were not willing to cover me. Due to their recommendation I was told to try a residential facitly here, which is actually a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. I decided to have an open mind and give it my best shot. This place gave me one of my worst experiences of my life. I took 10 steps back because of this facitly. So I left and I called Select Health and they gave me some things I could do to work towards going back to Wisconsin and being covered. So I started the appeals process for coverage to go back to Wisconsin and also tried all the help here in Utah they wanted me to try. As I have worked with there staff I have realized what morons they all are. I have not been able to talk to the same person twice and they don't even know what their policies are. I have talked to so many different staff members and they keep contradicting each other. A two year old could do their jobs better then they can. Nothing worked for me in what they have asked me to do and I gave it all I could. After being denied a couple times, today I was notified I was being denied for the last time. I guess these idiots think they know better than 6 Psychiatrist what's best for me. I have fought for coverage for over a year and done everything they told me to do just to be denied. I feel like they knew the whole time they were not going to cover me. I am a physically healthy person and have not had to use my insurance in years and I pay my premium every month. They are making money off of me. Because it is the brain and not physical it doesn't matter. Insurance is a scam and they really don't care about the people they "cover" they just care about the money. So thank you Select Health for getting my hopes up a ton and waisting over a year of my life. I have gotten worse because I have waited for coverage I thought I was getting. I could have used my time to search for someone who could help me. I have 800 dollars in lab fees from Wisconsin because you wouldn't cover me when I thought you were. I have paid everything out my own pocket and zero help from you guys. If I could give you zero stars I would. The lack of professionalism is atrocious. I would stay clear of these guys if you need Psychiatric help. This insurance company is a joke and this staff is a joke. Screw you Select Health!

Ashley in the Prescription dept was so helpful in finding information and answering my questions. I appreciated that she asked her manager for an answer when she was asked a new question and gave me a correct answer. Great customer service!

They went above and beyond to clear up an issue with a claim being submitted incorrectly by my pharmacy to ensure that I did not have to pay anything out of pocket. Ashley in pharmacy benefits was amazing at staying in touch with me to let me know what was going on and what they were doing to help me daily and got the entire issue cleared up. She was fantastic, professional, and so helpful!

I found the customer service people very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm, like most people, leery of insurance companies. With their rules, regulations and the huge bureaucracies I find them intimidating when I call for answers concerning my health insurance but the positive and cheery attitudes of the service reps put me at ease and so far I've been able to resolve, to my satisfaction, every issue I've contacted them about. Still intimidated but more at ease and assured when I call with questions and/or concerns. FYI - the intimidation factor cost you a star.

This insurance company is a joke. Willing to take a big chunk of my income, but hardly pay for any of the medical care for my family and I. I would rather just get rid of the insurance and pay the hospital and doctors with that money.

Wow! I used to love select health. I was so happy when I had them in the past. My employer switched back to them after being away for a couple of years. I was so excited...until I found out my primary physician, physical therapist, and dermatologist are not covered on my plan. I've seen my dermatologist for 25 years, since I was 12. They all say that they are trying to get on the select health share plan with no luck. Trying to find new providers is proving to be a challenge since there are limited providers in my area.

Select health raised our rates 26% in 2018. Even though we are all young and healthy (I haven't been to a doctor in 10 years) they want to charge our small family of three $1095 a month. I could get a house for that! Sorry but I'm out!

SelectHealth is the best of the best. A year ago, I went to the doctor. While I was there, I told the doctor I wanted to lose weight. I contacted SelectHealth and they helped me find a doctor who specializes in weight loss. After a lot of effort, I am down 50 lbs. I credit SelectHealth for their willingness to help me find a doctor AND paying my bills with no hassle. I love them. I will never switch.
