Casey s has a dark charm to it. Food was great, I recommend.... menu was small. & for good reason everything is good and high quality... surprising for a bar. Drinks are good, bartenders are friendly and love able & the games are fun. If you are looking for a lowkey fun time, then Casey s is for you.

Love the selection of beers they have and its a must stop for happy hour here everything is amazing here! Also, they throw a block party for st patricks every year.
This bar is awesome! Got the best two bartender you can find in town. If I owe a bar I will definitely hire these two! They made a special drink for me base on request. Feel very warm here. And Tuesday taco is fantastic!
Got in late to my hotel so there were limited places open. Saw this place's menu with about 5 entree choices but figured it was close to my hotel so might as well try it. The tables are set back from the bar, which was packed. Sat at a food table for about 15 minutes and the two bartenders never glanced over so I approached the bar. After another 5 minutes the female bartender had no choice but to recognize me. Clearly annoyed she asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted to order food at the table. Instead of arranging for someone to come to my table she asked what I wanted. I ordered the burger and a drink. She gave me the drink and said that the food would take about 20 minutes. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive and was undercooked. Rather than deal with it I paid and walked out.
Food was good but the potato salad seemed like the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way, but good food and lighting was to dark to read the menu and I have 15/15 vision really good, I like the bar vibes it gives and definitely a German pub with German food
This Bar was a great experience! They have some great live entertainment throughout the month, and the place was packed, and we had great service! The cocktail selection is up to par with the expectations aka good. And all taste amazing! Once you get seated at the bar it is like a time warp. It s an amazing place, and it s worth trying every time!
The have a decent happy hour with cheap beer starting at 4 bucks. The games are affordable, 1 buck for bollards and ping pong is free just leave your I.D.
This is a cool Irish pub I went on a Friday and they had a live band which was a great addition to the bar going experience. Drinks are fairly inexpensive and the crowd is pretty chill
The female bartenders are the worst ones when it comes to who to serve first . They always go to the people with the suits first since they have to go for the ones who they think tip the best of course. It's ridiculous how shallow they are in my opinion. There are regulars that go there and I understand that you may recognize them as soon as they come in. But when it's only 4 freaking people in the Bar and already have drinks and myself and my co-worker are just there waiting for 5 min to be acknowledged is just Bulls***. Won't be going there any more. Hopefully it closes down like I've been hearing.
I had my 21st birthday (years ago) at Casey Bar and Grill. Recently I went back for lunch and what a let down. The bartender knew nothing about the history of Casey one of Los Angeles' historical landmarks. How sad for this landmark. I guess the bartender wasnt an Angelino ~
About is typical and Irish pub in an old downtown neighborhood as you can get prominent location on Grand Avenue you walk down the stairs and you see you more jamenson signs and you can count. Sports bar lots of TV lots of drinks lots of fried food if you're looking for the traditional Irish bar this is it
you get the feeling you are uin new york or boston in the basement restaurant with some of the best burgers in la. amazing place to be on st. patrick's day. they close down the entire sreet in front of the place and party on!
First time visiting this joint. The waitress was excellent, very good service. I got the entree and it didn't disappoint. The pulled pork was the best. The bread was a bit dry though. Otherwise, I would have giving it 4 stars
What a cute little bar (had to). The dart section was full on a Sunday night so I didn't get a chance to play but I did enjoy having a drink in the main area. Also, since it was Sunday, there was plenty of table/booths open. There were a few couples on dates and that was pretty much it, aside from the guys hogging the dart area. You have to order at the bar though because there is no table service. The airplane by the entrance is pretty cool. The mermaid was good, but not as impressive as the airplane. I had two glasses of wine, both were fine - as you would expect from a divey bar. I would recommend that you still with a well drink or a beer here. Overall, it's a good place for a date on a Sunday night.
One of my favorite neighborhood bars, perfect for an after-work drink with great beers on tap and friendly bartenders. All i can say is fantastic service.
Caseys is a DTLA go to spot. Good for an after work get together or hanging out with friends on the front patio. A good selection of beverages and brew pub fare to boot. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Service is great here, the bartender who served us was super friendly and chill. We asked if he could make a sour midori drink, but said he couldn't because he didn't have some of the ingredients for it. However, he made me something similar to a sour midori and it was better than I had expected! It was sweet and had a good amount of alcohol in it. I even had a second round of the same drink because one wasn't enough!
I love this place. It's a great place for spending time alone (watching game, studying or just doing nothing) or hangout with your friends and play games. It has also outside area so you can drink and smoke if you wish.
Hmmmm, I'ma rooftop-bar-kinda person, but if you are into the dark, subterranean bars with a strong "5-10 years post college" crowd, this is the place to go.
They know Guiness. They know whiskey.
It has a "quarters" pool table and ping-pong.
Imagine, people who can't give up their college days of beer pong, Jager shots and need an escape from adulthood.
This place has that kind of vibe.
A pub that is popular amongst sports fans.
Enjoy, I'll be at the NoMad Hotel's rooftop bar. :)
I just came here this past Sunday for a quick bite and it was a wonderful experience. I loved the decor inside and the seating was great with big tables by the window. There were some specials going on for football as well as brunch. I order the short rib sliders, chicken wings, and bagels with lox. Also drank a bloody mary and sangria. Food was excellent and came out very fast, I also liked the fries that accompanied the sliders; wasn't expecting a side but was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely return next time I am in the area.
Came here on a Sunday night for a some drinks with a friend and really liked the vibe. Casey's Irish Pub were friendly and attentive without being annoying, drinks were perfect every time- ordered their Japanese whiskey cocktail that I can't remember the name to, and it had a great atmosphere for a low key evening- not over crowded where you can't hear or get a drink but not dead either.
In town on business trip. Came to this club on tip from a friend who loves it. Great vibe, exceptional cocktails, and really good Blues group on this evening.
Came here last week and to my dismay i found out they no longer have the 22 oz huge beers at happy hour but rather a lowly pint.. I still love this bar though and they have the chillest bartenders in the city i'm sure of it...
The mac n cheese and the wings are AMAZING ! Best Irish Pub in Los Angeles! Great food, great beer, and great vibes! Doesn't get better than that. Ask for Ramon! He's the man!
Food was fresh. Wait staff was Awesome. They made a few suggestions and we took a couple. Food was so good. This was a suggestion from the courtyard Marriott and they did not steer us wrong. We had fresh oysters and shared one of the seafood platters. The waiter had suggested. We ate lunch here on a Sunday.
This place used to be the spot to go to after work or at lunch but not anymore. The drinks are ok nothing special and the food sucks now. When my order was brought out my food was cold not tasty at all.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. The service here is better than most. It has a nice feel to it. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.
It's an Irish pub. Not too remarkable. I think it's cool they have skeeball, good game to play while drinking. The fries were great pub fries, real thick pieces.
Casey's has really reasonable drink prices for the downtown location, and I didn't have anything to eat but the food looked great. Standard Irish and bar fare. The place is pretty big with a large patio and looks great for groups. I will visit again!
I stumbled upon this establishment while out on a DTLA adventure date day with my fiance. I must say that I am glad that we decided to go in because, not only was the service amazing, the menu was equally amazing. I will definitely be going back. I hope that you YOU do the same thing. Thanks Casey's Irish Pub!!!
Love Casey's for the Irish coffee and make sure if you get a shot of Jameson ask for a pickle back to wash it down. Overall great place, with a great atmosphere. Live music some times and they also have some games and what not to play while you drink.
Well, this was pretty cool. Came here for a beer before reservations elsewhere and it was exactly the way I pictured: super drunk guy next to me at the bar, an amazingly awesome bartender, Fieron, and some pretty great beers to try. I ordered the wings for fun and they were pretty delish. The super drunk man told me I should get to sauce on the side so I did.
Spicy but not too spicy. I could have handled it. Ping pong table and pool table here. LARGE place. It goes way back and even has another dining room to the right. It's obvious the place fills up and is adored by locals. Live Music on weekends !! I'll be back for that.
