I made an order on line and its been over a month ...

I made an order on line and its been over a month now there hasn't been a confirmation of arrival or why its late. Called this store because thats where im supposed to pick it up at the Chicago Ridge Mall location. I xalled the small appliances dept and the answered the first time, told them what I needed and this girl who answered said to hold on and then hang up the phone in my face. I called back four more times and no one answered i was sent straight to voice mail. The customer service is the worst. You can at least say your busy or will transfer me to someone. I dont think they are that busy to answer and hang up. The worst customer service I have dealt with. And this will be the last time I order from them as WELL.

Sear's has the most cheap jewelry and clothing at escalated prices. It would do them well to close their doors. I bought jewelry that would have been cheaper had I purchased it from a bubblegum machine. Their clothing are disposable, wear one time and toss it. It's no more wearable. SMH

I stopped by today at Oak Lawnn location. I was looking for an specific item. I met an associate and I did a question: " if it's not here, we don't have it". She didn't offer any help, she just kept walking while she said that. Very poor costumer service. A chain who, precisely was known for that.
Now I know why they are losing many branches. The products, is another story, craftsman still been a leader, and the life time warranty is a plus, but...

I used to think of Sears as washing machines and lawn mowers. They have a lot of clothes and shoes for the whole family plus purses, jewelry and perfume. There are lots of sample perfumes to try before you buy. Really low prices, too!

To Sears a long time this is the worst experience I've ever had the checkout line was way too long and too many people I waited for 20 minutes just to check out used to be there was a check out in every department now you have to go to the center of the store will not be going back to that store anytime soon

I walked through the men's area as well as a few other departments and could not find anyone that worked there, for assistance.

Usually you'll find a few associates folding clothes or someone at the counters. Not even a sales rep in the appliance department.

Sears lost out on $$!

The only positive was the really nice stainless steel dishwashers they had in stock. I'm heading to some other big box stores now.

I want to say a special thanks to Matt, the manager at this store. Here is my story: I had bought a couple appliances here and home delivery had brought me the wrong colors. I immediately called, told them I didn't want them and they offered me a credit if i chose to keep them. Well, after fighting for 2 months with home delivery about my credit they promised they decided to close my case for no good reason. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. Told Matt my story, he made a couple phone calls to corporate and BAM. They gave me a case number (which i nvr got from home delivery) and will be providing my account the credit I was promised. Matt did more work in a couple of minutes then what home delivery did 2 months. So if this happens to anyone, RETURN it back and don't accept the credit.

ask to have air condition put in car so my goat krinky dont get the heat. this guy named the Oscar who was not the grumpy (like the GROUCH get? Haha :^) put in car and work like charm. gave some of mama borscht for service. many thanks to him as my pet krinky is not the sweat anymore

While at the store the gentleman who waited on me ...

While at the store the gentleman who waited on me was great. But the phone system leaves a lot to be desired. I called and was on hold for almost a half hour. I got on my other phone and was done in less than 10 minutes. I just kept the 1st one on speaker to see how long it takes before anyone picked up. After a half hour I hung up. Great for business!!!!!!!!

I ordered online for store pickup to save time. I placed the order early morning before they opened and took care of a bunch of errands in the meantime to be ensure I could getting everything I needed done on a busy day. After over 4 hours of them being open I still hadn't heard a response for my order and decided go in anyway. I had no problem finding multiple quantities of the item I ordered sitting on the shelf. After trying the item on it fit differently than the last pair I had worn and figured it would be an easy exchange. I bring the item to a cashier explaining I had ordered an item online but never got confirmation but wanted a different size at this point. It took another 10 minutes standing there after the manager had already come come over to direct me to the online order pickup area to cancel my order. After meeting the manager on the other side of the building he finally gets me a return slip which I then have to return to the same cashier and wait in line to make the exchange. The whole process defeated the purpose of using their online service and was horribly inefficient in every aspect. It's no surprise the company is going out of business. If they can't adapt with the times or provide basic service, it doesn't matter what history the company had. Anything positive they've offered is a thing of the past.

Customer service representatives were no where to be found, and when they did show up I was left waiting and ignored when it was my turn to be waited on..!! I won't be shopping at SEARS any more!!!

I am so happy I made the decision to buy my Appliance from Sears one of the few that are left in the Chicagoland area Chicago Ridge Mall Sears is very well maintained and organized I enjoyed the experience with my customer service person he got me the best deal possible thank you Sears

Glad to see a Sears open. This store has many of the things you expect from a Sears, Craftsman tools , washers dryers, ovens.
But it also has nice clothes, dresses, shoes,
Bedding... Not many workers on the floors, if you need help finding things, you're on your own.

Ordered a new deep feeezer for my 90 year old gran...

Ordered a new deep feeezer for my 90 year old grandparents. Paid for hookup and to haul away the old one. The 2 delivery guys refused to take their old one out. Since I purchased it through my account, my grandparents didn't have any paperwork showing that I paid for the haul away fee. They just refused to take it out and I don't know why. Completely ridiculous. After calling and talking to several different people I finally was able to get someone to come out and get the old freezer, but thats 2 weeks from now. Unreal. Will never order ANYTHING from Sears again.
