Sears, Roebuck and Co. Review

Series was a very nice clean store everything was Will organized the staff was very pleasant and I will be back again

Do not go to this place don't pay attention to what others are saying this place has very bad customer service and the ladies at the front desk have bad attitudes and they do not go by appointments even if you setup 1 they are slow and need new workers in there

Organized, clean and friendly people ready to help you.

Sadly it's mostly closed down , the " sales " they're doing is not worth it

Today the restrooms where very nasty I look at the check listed and haven't cleaned the bathroom scene 2 pm Not Good

My neighbor hood sears last of the big ones hope they stay open

I ordered tires online and scheduled appointment. Get to Sears and they had to get them from warehouse, next day. Called me and informed my tires are there, immediately went for install and waited hours for work to be done.

Loved it I was able to get what I wanted and come out of the store when I was down

I instal head lights bulbs for my Honda Accord and they not right I only see to lines at night I told them to adjust it for me they told me go somewhere els to Honda dealer or something. Then what s the point for paying money that s called stealing

Horrible customer service and they hardly ever have anything!

Seemed very empty. Didn't have what I was looking for

Went for Reebok's no longer stocking them just Everlast brand, purchase everlast sports shorts and tees
Some gym wear, I like the long-lasting quality. and at a great price...!

The mall is good but watch out for a very rude woman employee at Sears. I asked for help watching my 3 young kids who had been walking with me all over the parking lot trying to find our car. We were all tired, it was cold out, and all she said with a disgusted look on her face as she walked away from me and my young kids was they don't babysit and I had to take care of this by myself. Class act!

I was on Sears. Chicago Ridge and at 9 p.m. sharp they turn off the ligths and a lady comes and said we are close now , how can be so rude on any store if you are there before time at close they wait for the costumer to paid. what they have on hands very bad attention .

I have shopped at Sears for decades. Fair prices, very good quality products

I always look for bargains and never thought I could find anything affordable at Sears but I've been surprised to find great deals, especially on shoes

No men's Dept etc , cleverly spreading out merchandise so you can't see the departments disappear. Not really worth your time anymore as compared to the past when this store was so good.Finances dictate this sad act.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! HORRIBLE customer service! Not one dept. in the whole store would answer my phone call. Not one! The phone would ring and ring for about a minute and a half and then just disconnect. No wonder they're going under!

I always have a good shopping experience is Sears they have what I'm looking for they can changes carry the same brands that I shop for and there's always someone there to answer questions for me if I'm looking for something I'll write them 5 stars

Great selection of athletic wear. Although appearing under staffed, mostly every customer service person and other staff was kind, personable and absolutely willing to help me.

Absolute worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I bought a fridge for 2000 dollars in the 8th of this month and kept stressing that I needed a fridge that day as ours was broken. The girl at the store convinced me to get that fridge and that she guaranteed that it would be with me by the 18th no matter what. I said that's 10 days but we will make do. 18th rolled around and the fridge didn't come, no call and no email to say why or when it was coming. I had to call to find out there was a mix up with the supplier and it would hopefully be with us by the 26th. When I called to tell them what happened and ask what they are going to do about it, I got transferred several times to people who had no idea what was going on, and eventually to a manager named Fadel who also just brushed me off. When I told him all the false information that his employees had told me and the lies and lack of training, all he could say was "donno why they told you that" no sorry or I will speak to them and ensure they get the proper training.... just I donno. Anyway, I have been shopping there for years, bought my last fridge there and 2 john Deere riding mowers on top of several tools and other things..... thousands and thousands of dollars spent there.... never again, I am calling and getting a refund and going straight to best buy and home depot from now on. Oh and I called corporate 2 times trying to find a complaint, and I got hung up on both times.

When visiting this store you have a sad feeling taking over. Empty, with half filled shelves. Seems like it is about to close. No love for Sears anymore.

Long check out lines and long wait. Not enough sales reps on the floor to assist customers.

Though I work there even I can see the short comings of sears, very few associates to help customers, finding an appliance sales rep was near impossible and the store seemed dated compared to other big box stores, sad to see it go

Has everything you expect from Sears in stock. HOWEVER... all cashier's have been condensed to a small area effectively causing approximately 30 minute wait times to cashout. New cashier's have a carefree attitude which really ruins an otherwise good shopping experience.

I hope that Sears makes a great comeback. Still a good store just in need of an resurrection.

NO customer service calls answered in any department. I called 3 times. All times I got hung up or a message came on. Sears has just filed for bankruptcy and requested 300 million dollars from investors to keep the remaining stores open. I wanted to find out if the Chicago Ridge location will stay open and if and when their liquidation sales will start with their tools department if any. If u call don't expect any answers over phone as of today!

I got for my surprise in the automotive department really good service, they took care of my tires problem fast and easy.

Cashier was helpful and friendly and it was a good sale going on in the store

I was able to find shoes in my size and I have a large foot for a woman too

Their employees pressure elderly to open their credit card. An elderly man told the cashier over 10x that he did not want to open a credit card. She would not let it be until he said ok because she promised him there are absolutely no fees. I stood in the long line and watched them continue this behavior only with the elderly customers. Not nice to take advantage of them. Zero stars!!

Found what I was looking for & the cashiers were quick.

No checkout line. There are only two registers checking people out. What is this???

Lots of sales going on mostly winter clothes not too many people, masks being worn. Went to look for kids clothes not much of a selection if u want clothes for fall you might find some good deals but very little selection. The other clothing depts seem to be better stocked with lots of sales posted as well.

The guy was very helpful and I got everything I need under the 5 minutes Great Job

I went in to look at some tools and ended up buying a tool box. The salespeople were so helpful. They showed me how to get free shipping rather than me have to transport such a large purchase.

This Sears is a service to the community. And the great deals.

Not much left but great deals if you can find your size.

Items in store have been moved, but I found what I needed.

One of the cashiers was very rude it took her about 10 mins yo get one of the censors off the shirt. Me also working in retail i offered to help & she gave me a dirty look, O & the line was super long.

Got a nice pair of gold hoop earrings at 75% off. Customer service was great.

Don t recommend this to no one we got 2 beds and it s been a month and they still haven t been delivered they just say next week next week and nothing we where supposed to get them today and never came and are hanging up calls, after trying to reach all day they told us to contact the company! Seriously? Been sleeping on the floor for a month so don t recommend buying ur stuff from this store

Sears used to be a real 'stand up' company. Their customer service is out sourced in the Philippines and those Filipinos take pride in their work. I was then transferred to Technical Support, 2 minutes 'til 12, here in the states and some lazy kid cut me off right as we started, blurted out a phone number, told me to call back, and hung up.

So long Sears, you had a good run.

Sears was and is a great general merchandize store; I remain curious as to what items are on the second level Most traditional sears departments are now located on the 1st floor but in small display models .Auto shop seemed busy and a location for rental cars ; good idea for repair work that might require a longer time.

Today I saved a lot of money buying winter jackets and shoes good deals

I did not know there was one still open in Chicago area but I am so glad I went to the mall

Sears i love it ! i had been shopping with them for the pass 30 Years we get a stove for my kitchen. they always help & friendly thank you Sears..
From home office to the person that cleans the flors we appreciate you all..
