worst store ever! I was paying for some clothes when a kid was behind me and was swinging a belt. Well he hit me and I told him to stop. as with all young people he said what you gonna do. said knock you out. as I was arguing with him some girl came out the back and told me to leave because I was fighting. she refused to listen to me so I returned all I had bought. she said she dont care. tryed to call the store manager the next day and tryed for about 4 hours. No customer service there! I would reall not even give this store any stars 0. so many places I can spend my money. had to leave before police came and put me in choke hold.Lol!

Didn't have what I was looking for. Not slot of sales person to assist

I love this store, it has good prices and a lot to choose from. Great staff and very helpful. You really should consider shopping here.

Needed a new tire....was in & out in less than a hour.

I found just what I needed but it was sad to see this store that's been around for so long look like a dollar store. Minimal stock and partially empty.

Always loved Sears they got the boots I use especially when they are in sale it just to bad I have to drive a distance to a Sears but it worth it. save sears and kmart...

Always great selection, but the checkout process is super slow..

So, I went shopping at this Sears in Chicago ridge mall. One of the items was scanned twice. The item cost exactly $16.98. I will come back and change this review of something is done about it, otherwise, it will stay.

The people here are rude and ignorant over the phone and in the store. Don't waste your time here. I will be glad when they close and a better business is put there.

Excellent shop and I always find what I'm looking for

I've seen ants and cockroaches, heard there was a rat problem and have seen some outside of merchandise pick up. very unsanitary and bathrooms are filthy. customer service does not help at alll. I was on the phone for a long time only to get hung up on.

No saturday deliveries, so you have to take a day off of work. The window is 8am til 5pm. That's not a window,that's 2 French doors wide open to the backyard.BS.

Sears credit card and reward points are awesome, it helps me to buy lots of stuff in cents.

Need more cashiers!!!. .... update I bought shoes there on Sunday and today Friday the bottom sole started coming off. So I take my shoes back and they tell me that they are not a week old and that they will not be giving me a refund. Mind you I have my receipt showing i bought them 5 days ago they refused to reimburse me I'm really upset this is horrible costumer service. Never going back now I know why they are closing!!!

They did everything they said they would and I was out in under 2 hours. I'm satisfied.

Considering Sears are downsizing, this store had a great assortment of everything. Found quite a few items. Friendly associates, very clean store and managers working the floor as well. Great shopping experience

Unacceptable service. Came into the store with a defective Craftsmen pass thru ratchet set (the ratchet had broken under normal use). When given the opportunity to make the situation right the current manager on duty in the tool department decided against fulfilling the warranty on a $44 socket set. He instead only gave options resulting in a solution a week or more out. When you depend on tools to work every day you can't wait a week for a fix.

Overall very displeased with the service I received.

If they would allow a post with zero stars I would have rated this store at zero. I bought a full appliance suite from Sears in Sept. 2016. It is now December 20, 2016 and I am still waiting on the delivery of the microwave. I have continuously called the 800 number with no response or 45 minute to hour long waits on hold. My delivery date keeps getting pushed back, 6 times since September. I called my salesperson who assured me I would have it on December 13th then I got yet another message that the delivery was delayed. I went to the Chicago Ridge store where the manager, Shannon, was less than helpful. She said she'd have the morning manager call me by 11 am, that call never came. I called them on December 16th and was told they would get back to me as soon as possible. It is now December 20th and no call back from anyone. This has been the absolute worst buying experience I have ever encountered. The lack of customer service and care displayed by the manager level employees at the Chicago Ridge Appliance section is more than disappointing. I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere for any purchases.

I placed an order online. Pick up is really easy and fast. Make sure you bring the card you paid with as you swipe it in the terminal to confirm your ID. Quick and painless.

Not many cashiers/associates, but at least it's not busy with long lines at the cashier.

I've been a lover of Sears since my Grandmother took me shopping with her as a child, and I still am. Every appliance in every home I've lived in as an Adult we purchased from Sears!

The checkout lines are way too long! They need registers at different locations in the store! The welcome center is a joke, there is never anyone there! I was there on black friday, and used the restroom, no toilet paper and no hand towels. I looked for someone to tell but could find no one! I went to the jewelery dept and told one of the associates and she looked at me like Why are you telling me? Very discusting!

No staff to check people out but a staffed useless welcome center. No wonder your company is you g out of business

Brought snow blower from here. The service was okay, but the guys trying to load the snow blower into my truck didn't know what they were doing at all.

Store clean and I like the new renovation in store and the prices were discounted. Mohammed at checkout was helpful and very nice. Haven't been to Sears (Chicago Ridge) in over a year, was very pleasantly surprised.

Poor service! I went to return a Craftsman hammer that failed. Sears used to exchange Craftsman tools no questions. Well not any more! GOOD LUCK BUYER BEWARE. after 20 minutes they offered a gift card because they dont have any hammers in the store. and cant get them....really?? so they said just go on line and order it with the gift card. What about shipping? I ask, oh there is free shipping. So I go home and look online, well there is free shipping if you spend over $35 well I have wasted well over 1-1/2 hours now trying to exchange a broken Craftsman hammer. and I still dont have one, and cant get one unless I pay for shipping. Some guarantee that is. This is the reason I dont buy Craftsman tools anymore. Go to Home Depot
