Loved the centre, you can see the wild life from the islands (Craighleith, Bass Rock, Isle of May) in the cameras inside the centre. You can book boat trips, but is preferable book them in advance. Also, the centre has a cafe with a great view to the sea and Bass Rock.

We went for a light lunch and each had a bowl of soup. Both were ok but a bit watery. We'll probably try somewhere else next time we're n North Berwick. The staff are very friendly and the views out to sea are lovely.

Really enjoyed our trip out on the catamaran round the bass Rock, and a special thank you to the team in the booking office who retrieved our little ones shoe that came off while on board. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, but those 2 really went the extra mile, as did the pilot of the catamaran and the RIB, who combined to reunite us with the shoe.

Great little museum and a special feature are the remote controlled high definition cameras located out on the islands. Got up close and personal with puffins and other birds. A wee pricey admission. The little cafe serves a nice selection of tea, biscuits and snacks. If its sunny, tea on the pation is brilliant!

We enjoyed a very comfortable boat trip skippered by Robin and guided by the very knowledgeable and friendly Aislinn. On our tour we saw seabirds a plenty with dolphins and seals. The commentary was great with local information and facts.

I thought the ambience was really cosy; the menu, although some may say limited, well priced and excellent food. Welcomes dogs and has a good priced children s menu.

Staff lovely and coffee a great treat. Definitely will return!

I only went to the cafe and enjoyed a lovely home baked scone with my tea. All social distance measures were in practice. The amount of people who went down to the viewing were counted and controlled, very nice area and I felt safe there.

Had a great time at the seabird centre discovery experience yesterday. Kevin was our guide- so knowledgeable, engaging and enthusiastic about the work of the seabird centre in promoting environmental marine conservation. We were fascinated by the historical information he told us about Bass rock and the scientific insights into marine life around the coast of Scotland. He made us very welcome and did a great job with all the Covid-19 cleaning down work as he moved us on from one interactive area to another! We had no young people with us on this visit but reckon it is an amazingly educational experience for both young and old! Thank you!

Great place to watch the Gannets dive bomb into shoals of bait-fish whilst having a brew and a piece of cake. You have a panoramic view looking out to sea from the restaurant. The majestic and odd Bass Rock off to your left. Helpful staff and an slightly bizarre shop full of eclectic stuff. lethal if you have kids... Only 4 stars as part of it was closed when I went. So can't write about the experience section downstairs. We have family in Edinburgh and I had heard lot's about this place but had never been and i thought it was utterly charming. We had lobster and chips around the corner. Kids swimming in the sea all set against a dramatic coastline in a pretty town. If you are anywhere near or thinking of travelling out to spend a day here I would highly recommend.

Pleasant enough. Nice views if you can get a seat by the window, otherwise (in winter at least) it feels a little bit too much like you're sitting in the shop with people around you. I know it's all for a good cause but food is also very average considering the price.

If you like birds (in the ornithological way) and happen to be stuck in North Berwick then it's ok. If looking at all the birds makes you hungry there's a Chinese restaurant not too far up the road.
