Its a nice place to be on a sunny as well as wet day. Indoor and outdoor are equally good, especially for families. Nice area around to walk about and explore the beach and rocks. Nice views all round it as well.

Nice spot to sit outside and view Bass Rock and the seafront from on a clear day. Cullen skink and daily soups are generous and to a high standard but mains tend to be a tad pricy. Bit cramped and unatmospheric inside but staff helpful and certainly worth a visit.

A good summer day out, especially if a boat trip to nearby isles is booked. Nice walk by the beaches. Beautiful setting.

We love driving along the coast from Edinburgh to beautiful North Berwick. The cafe is a nice place to stop for refreshments after a walk along the beach, it has a good selection & fabulous views of Bass Rock.

Fantastic catamaran ride out to Bass rock and Craigleath.

I loved being able to see puffins (puffins) and so close to Edinburgh, I blew it away with the number of gannets. 100% recommended excursion if you are a bird lover.

Amazing place to learn about seabirds and coastal ecosystems. Don't miss the boat trip around the islands. Also worthy the lobster hatchery, a small place down in the decks doing a great labour with limited resources. Support them all buying gifts.

Really nice place, they do bird watching trips which are really interesting and wonderful experience.

We went to the center and to an excursion to bass rock, the essential excursion, seeing the largest gannet colony in the world is something impressive.

Lovely place... just had a lovely coffee here. Will try for lunch sometime.

Very interesting. Friendly service. Unfortunately no possibility for spontaneous boat tours without reservation.

Different process and procedures due to Covid-19, but a very interesting and enjoyable visit. My daughter (8) found the games and interactive bits fun, and we learned a lot about the gannets and other sea birds.

Was closed for a refurbishment. Might get to visit next time I'm north of the border.

Nice little cafe, beautifully cooked baked potatoes, sweet in a fascinating visitor centre that is best visited while the gannets are on the Bass Rock.

Did a catamaran cruise to Craigleith and Bass Rock islands, fun trip with informative guide telling about the sea birds that live there.

Great location on a beautiful autumn day. Stunning situation on the outside deck watching the oyster catchers dodge the waves.

We were here this morning. Very well set up for Covid safety. We really enjoyed our visit. Very friendly and attentive staff. Impressive. Nice cafe too. Good cup of coffee.

You can skip the museum but kids will love it... I was impressed with travel path followed by seabirds

Great place in North Berwick. Fantastic for children's learning. The cafe is ok but the coffee wasn't the best.

The plugs in restaurant area doesn't allow laptop charger of you're coming to work on laptop, apart from that all good :)

Cafe overlooks the Bass Rock and the decking area is opened up when the weather is fair. Dogs welcome on deck.

Very disappointed. States open on website. Not signed anywhere, even their own car park. Closed for renovations. Nothing stated until we arrived at the door alongside others also disappointed. We detoured specifically for this. Very unhappy about this.

A great place to visit. Highly recommend the seafari boat trip. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I'm disabled and they were only too happy to help when needed. Boat trip wasn't suitable for wheelchairs, which we knew beforehand. The staff at the centre put my wheelchair somewhere safe and I did the boat trip with my crutches. I messaged the centre on Facebook before we went with a query we had. Someone called Jess responded and she was very helpful and friendly!

This area is very good for a walk, there is a good shrimp shop nearby.

Great day out with the cruise around Bass Rock. It s like being immersed in a wildlife documentary. This is a quality tourism experience: excellent crew, good, stable boat (catamaran). You re out for around an hour, you see puffins and thousands of gannets and you land happy and feeling that it s money well spent: you can t ask for much more.
Heartily recommended.

Mostly for kids, not much for adult. Lots of gadgets for tourists and nothing else. Very disappointed.

Only stopped for coffee but it was nice, nice view!

Alex talked to us for a long time and my mum really appreciated all the really interesting things he was taking his time to tell her! Really great staff and a wonderful place to visit. Deffinately coming back!

We did an island trip to see different birds. It was a lovely afternoon! Recommendable.
