Coffee and cake, well good, and not that expensive, the view is worth it
Lovely wee visitor centre with stunning views to the Bass Rock where I had a very enjoyable lunch at a reasonable price.
Great place to start trip to isle of May and bass rock.
I really recommend this place to people who love fantastic views and delicious meals!! Also staff are helpful and friendly!!
It was very interesting with knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions. There are a number of videos which are enjoyable and informative. The live cameras show wild life and can me moved to expand your view. There is also a cafe which serves tea, coffee, cakes and meals plus an extensive gift shop. Outside there is a viewing area with telescopes which again can be moved and focused to suit.
Really nice place with pleasent helpful staff and some nice stuff in the shop
Refurbishments going on at the moment, but that shouldn't take too much away. A restaurant and gift shop also with a balcony with a view out to Bass Rock. Nice place to relax.
Nice staff. Enjoyable and supports the birds. Pop in and enjoy
There was a smell of urine in the shop, the socuns were also very bad not to be recommended
Great little shop at the entrance with a very busy cafe. There's a decking area outside for when it's not so cold. There's wheelchair accessible entrance. There's toilets and dogs are allowed in the cafe. I didn't go into the exhibition
Super interesting. Only in fair weather can visit more
Whenever I visit my sister in Edinburgh we go to North Berwick. The beaches are amazing and as it is just 30 minutes on the train it is very accessible. There is a lovely cafe' in the Seabird centre and you can sit on the terrace and admire the view.
Very interactive. Lovely place for the family surrounded by sun sea and sand
Very good, though had a stinking migraine at the time
Nice place. Interesting for kids and grown ups too. Cheap. Decent cafe.
Plenty of gifts to take home nice coffee shop worth a visit
You can control cameras and watch the seals. Quite expensive though but if you think of it as a conservation donation I guess it's ok.
Great for kids, fantastic attendants! Great day out.
Centre for sea lovers to get knowledge about sea creatures
Great trip, beautiful scenery and very informative.
A place worth seeing with a view of Seabird Seabird Island ......
Whilst the view was lovely, the coffee was awful and the cake stale. A real disappointment
I went to see Bass rock full of birds with the dinghy and it was an unforgettable experience.
Very well set out with live cameras on the protected islands to view all the bird's and seals. Lovely clean coast line.
Good cafe, great gift shop and interesting watching the sea birds live via cameras situated on the rocks
A great place for lovers of birds and nature. Children will also not be bored. You can watch birds nesting on the nearby islands during boat trips, but also in the very center, on the monitors. You can control the image yourself by remotely moving cameras mounted on the islands. A great time
Was lucky to be on the Banana boat ride to bass rock... Worth experiencing this one
Very friendly staff, an excellent latte and contrary to our expectations dog friendly as well - can't wait for our next visit.
I suppose I'd have given it more stars if I were an oceanic twitcher sort of person. Or a young person.
Great boat trips and lots of information about the local sea birds.
This place is worth a 10 star rating. Highly recommend the Three Island Seafari boat trip which goes around the Lamb, Craigleith a Nd the famous Bass Rock islands. We had a lovely guide Ashley who charmed us with stories about the sites and knowledge facts about the wildlife
Great live remote camera views of a range of sea birds on the nest on the islands in the Fifth of Forth.
Very educational and interesting place that should definitely be on your itinerary. Will add a great deal to your visit to the Scottish coast
We only used the cafe, i can whole heartedly recommend their scones and teacakes.
The staff are very knowledgeable, so puck their brains!!!
Well set up for social distancing
Good spot for coffee and cake. Great views with indoor and outdoor seating which is dog friendly- they supply water bowls. There are also toilets.
A nice day out with the kids. Great views of Bass rock. Interesting information on the local wildlife. Lots of educational activities for the kids. There is also options to do a boat trips around the islands. The sandy beach next to the centre is beautiful and well worth a walk along.
Birdwatching is a big part of my life and this is a brilliant place to visit with stunning views to the Bass Rock and the Isle of May.
Great educational centre with a good reasonably priced cafe
Fantastic place to visit. Would highly recommend it.
Good for a rainy day, which it was at the time of our visit. Live cameras you can control to watch the birds. A bird display informing you of each bird. The cafe is well worth a visit if you're really hungry for a sandwich, not for the small appetite. Pleasant helpful staff throughout. Loved the 3d under water film, glasses provided. We had an enjoyable time.
Cake was lovely, very clean and a nice penny souvenir machine.
Excellent place to visit lovely lunch good price web cams downstairs to view the birds.
Interesting but not a lot to do if you don't want a boat trip and you gave played with the cameras.
Very interesting live camera coverage of nesting seabirds. Good displays and interactive models.
We had visited bird isles, we have seen dolphins. It was formidable. I would like to repeat.
I got in for half priced so it was well worth the visit. However if I paid full price I would have been a little disappointing, not a huge amount to see.
North Berwick is a windswept town in winter, but certainly worth a visit in summer. Been fishing there a few times, visited the Seabird Centre when it got to cold. Well worth a visit, with webcams of Gannets etc., and good info for bird lovers.
Beautiful place, excellent point to observe migrations, lovely country worth a visit
Very tired exhibits that haven't changed in a decade except to fall apart and not be replaced. A visit now represents very poor value for money. Cafe has been recently renovated and looks nice but still relies on very underwhelming coffee from a push button machine. How about a proper barista system like other cafes in North Berwick?
Very nice and helpful staff! Learned a lot about Scotland's sea life. Would definitely go again.
If you like bird watching this is the place for you. Nice restaurant.
A brilliant place to visit, with lots to see and do. If you have the time and the weather is fine book onto a boat trip to Bass Rock.
Interesting place if you like ornithology. There is also sea trips to various islands in the Forth of Firth. I visited Bass Rock to photograph the nesting Gannets, expensive but a great experience.
Great place to visit when driving on the North Berwick coast.
I would recommend a visit. Helpful staff and wonderful to see the birds up close
Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are very passionate about the seabirds. Very enlightening!
