I brought my vehicle to them as a first-time customer to have the entire driver's side tail light replaced. I had purchased the part myself, but five minutes into the attempt, it was clear this wasn't an effort a novice should undertake. The entire service experience from the phone call to the on-site experience was top-notch. Everyone was very pleasant and I was in and out within 90 minutes at a very fair price.

Check in process was very good, checking out however was less than good. My car was ready, I could see it outside, but it took 20 minutes to get the paperwork to the desk only after I visited the checkout desk the 2nd time, was the paperwork brought over so that I could leave and get to the office. So, some improvement in that area is needed.

Excellent service done in very quick turnaround. Very knowledgeable service writer (Marshall) and helpful in making decisions about service required/needed/requested. The 'Upsell' push on Alignments was a bit obvious though. $89.95 for an alignment check on a vehicle with 20k miles is a bit of overkill. Within 5 minutes of exiting my vehicle, my service writer, as he should, and another individual (tire manager?) checked for feathering on my front tires. Service department push?? I declined the offer. Thank you!

Showed up for my 10:15 appointment time and was me...

Showed up for my 10:15 appointment time and was met immediately by my service advisor, John Simpson. Mr. Simpson told me it would be a 90 minute wait for my routine maintenance. 90 minutes later I received an email about my car and John came in with my paperwork. Exactly as promised.

I bought a used Acura about 6-7 weeks back and Jeff was my sales guy. He was fabulous that day. Fast forward to today and my battery dies...the service department got me in the next morning to check it out and confirmed it was a bad battery. Jeff came through and helped me out again. Can't say enough about the work ethic, awesome communication and willingness to go above and beyond. Highly recommend this dealership and their staff.

They change MSRP price on you, and don't show you ...

They change MSRP price on you, and don't show you one paper price from another. When you ask to see the sticker on the car again it magically is sold right before your eyes. Then they tell say you can't do math. Stay the heck away. Modern Toyota will deliver in the charlotte area, no pressure, great prices, Hickory will give great prices. If you buy double check all the prices to make sure they add up.

We bought our 2015 Prius from here almost 2 years ...

We bought our 2015 Prius from here almost 2 years ago and have brought it here for regular service since then.
It is normally great, but this last time was not consistent.
Our windshield cleaner fluid was not re-filled at all. They also tried to up sell us multiple things throughout our entire appointment, one of which was $58 for ONE replacement wiper blade (I found a pack of 2 online for $20).
The staff are very communicative and nice, but we just don t like the feeling of being bombarded with all of the seemingly overpriced items one after the other.

In particular Pete Acree, who takes a great pride in the work that he does and helping me with my vehicles whether its been through his advice or the quality of attention and work that is given to my vehicles. Very nice and comfortable building, with friendly staff. I don t like pushy salesmen and asked God to lead us to the best salesperson. Johnny walked up and was wonderful. Asked questions as to what we were looking for and talked us through to the best vehicle for us, not just into buying anything. He had a great personality and we actually enjoyed the experience! Love our crew cab truck. It is functional as well as comfortable (as a truck goes)!

A den of liars and an incompetent service department. Sold me a lemon and still call me every two months to ask if I'm still satisfied with my purchase. Someone write down that I sold the lemon and bought a car from a dealership with a service department that can actually identify if a car will pass a state inspection or not.

Just leased a my third card from Scott Clark Toyota - a new Rav4 on December 27. The process was unbelievably smooth and easy. I was in and out in less than three hours with a test drive. I live in Huntersville, but keep coming back to Scott Clark's because of the customer service. Garrett Bowen and Jimmy Cline are the best. Thank you Scott Clark Toyota for another great experience.

A big huge thanks to Jimmy, Travis, Marcos, George, and Cannon. Today I left with a brand new RAV4 and love it! From the moment we called to ask a question to walking out the door with my new keys, every step of the process was easy. Jimmy and Travis answered all our questions before we even walked in. Marcos was great giving me information on the test drive. George provided me with what was the best experience I've ever had with financing a car. Cannon's explanations with how all the bells and whistles work in the car were great. He even paired my phone, got speed dial set up, and even helped me get my home and work set in the GPS. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of buying a new car!

I walked in without an appointment for an oil chan...

I walked in without an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and I was very promptly greeted by the Ashley (svc advisor), after a technician properly inspected my vehicle, he noticed an oil leak that I wasn't aware of coming from the valve cover. within 1-1/2 hour they got my vehicle serviced, including the oil change, tire rotation, valve cover gasket, PCV valve, and a tire repaired. And that was all done for a fraction of what other locations quoted me for.
All I can say is WOW!!......that's what I call "Efficiency"
The dealer personnel was very professional and courteous.
Excellent Svc Dir. David Blackburn. I can tell that he truly cares about his team.

Overall, great dealership. I will definitely service my vehicles there again.

I had a very pleasurable experience buying a new car at Scott Clark Toyota, in Charlotte, NC. The people with whom I interacted, included Matt Cady, Clark Bush, Kenneth, Horace Cruz, Mallory McDaniel, and the young man who helped me to identify my add on options.

Also, I brought a car in to be serviced on the same day. Service members Joey Carroll and Wes, always are friendly and considerate. They ensure that we get rental cars (no cost) when an extensive repair is scheduled.

On March 18th I spoke with Toyota about a tire issue. The agent set me up for a next day appointment. I met Tyler Hallock (advisor) and explained my tire issue. He said they would check into the matter and get back to me promptly. About an hour later Tyler said they found the problem, a nail had punctured the tire. He also mentioned the repair was fully covered under Toyota s tire purchase warranty. Wow ! Best news all day. Thank you Tyler.

We recently had our 2007 Sequoia serviced at Scott Clark. Pete Acree went over and beyond to help us with our service. He walked us through all that was needed to be done, and gave his personal opinion which helped to make decisions that needed to be made. Pete recognized that we have had that car serviced there for 8 years. Because of our loyalty to Scott Clark, he was willing to ask for the best deal on some of the services that were required. He also took a personal interest in our son getting the car when it was finished by offering a driver to pick him up at CPCC verses having him walk back to the dealership to get it. That personal relationship that is felt at Scott Clark is what has kept my family coming back for so many years. They have set a high bar that other dealerships have not been able to match for our family.
Thank you Pete Acree and Scott Clark for all you have done to help us.

We had been searching for the perfect 4Runner for about a week until we decided to head over to Scott Clark Toyota. Not only were we greeted and taken care of promptly when we arrived, but RAFAEL PENA was very knowledgable and made sure each of our needs were met!

I purchase a vehicle from Scott Toyota Saturday, and my sales associate name was Tim Wright. We didn't like the vehicle so we brought it back 5 days later. Tim was patient and understanding after listening to our story, how unsatisfied we were. So he asked us to look around, see what else you may like to drive. We have seen a vehicle that peaks, some interest, but Tim went out of the way and located a nice vehicle, Toyota Corolla. My wife and I love the Corolla as soon as we have seen it. Wow, what a great job Tim did with our second vehicle" Go see and talked to Tim, he will go to bat for you." We are happy now, thank you, Tim.

We recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Camry from Scott Clark Toyota. We contacted Mike Black and told him what we wanted and all the options and the color. He had our car delivered in five days and had all the paperwork ready for us when we arrived. He was out of town that day but his assistant Kyle greeted us at the door and made sure the delivery went smoothly. Matt in finance handled all the paperwork in record time. Before we left our Bluetooth was paired and all the technology fully explained. (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) Thank you to everyone who made this experience enjoyable and we didn't have to spend all day in the dealership. We came in to have our vehicle serviced and decided to look at the new 4Runners and requested Dustin. As with the first time he was amazing, patient, and was able to get us in the 4runner we wanted. We also dealt with Johnny who showed us the cars and he even gave my 4 year old his own lunch because he asked for some French fries! Amazing customer service from these two awesome gentlemen! Thank you Jose Hernandez !!!! for making such a wonderful experience getting our first Toyota Rav4. I had been working with many dealers around charlotte when i started my quest for getting RAV4 much of them were very mechanical. We deal with humans so need to understand the persons needs, in what situation the person is in, what are that persons budget etc.

At one local dealership my experience was so bad that i literally gave up the idea of buying a car, even though i had been researching online for over months. For me having a car was necessity rather than a luxury.

Then one day i got a call from Jose. Very humble person. He understood my need for car. it was then awesome to work with him.. Just one call & couple of text sms.. that's it !!!

I just spent an hour at dealership to complete the paperwork & there i go with my new car.

I have been using Scott Clark Toyota for the past 2 1/2 years for maintenance on my Toyota Sequoia. This is the first dealership s service department that makes me want to come back again and again. Upon entering the service garage, you are greeted almost instantly with an advisor. They listen and answer your questions without hesitation. I usually wait for my vehicle and they keep me informed throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a service department, this is the place to go!

Oh boy where to begin. I used to own a Toyota vehicle, so naturally I figured someone would want to help me get a new Toyota/Scion when I went in, but nope. I parked right in front, and two of the goons outside gave me a dirty look and didn't bother to acknowledge my existence. I went to this dealership twice, and nobody would bother to speak to me, nor bother to help me. I called and I was able to get someone to help me, and he was nice, but when I asked about some numbers on the car, it became a high pressure situation to try and get me to buy the car right then and there, despite me telling them about 50 times (not kidding, either) that I needed to think about it. After leaving their dealership, these people then called me at least 3 times a day to try and "earn my business". Please. After the experience I had with these clowns, I would've rather gone and bought a car from Saddam Hussein.

Too long, didn't read: These guys are a bunch of unprofessional clowns, and you should spend your money elsewhere...like me!

Mike Black was our sales rep and was an absolute pleasure to work with, very courteous, knowledgeable and kind. Sat down ready to work out details on trade and vehicle pricing is when Jacques Deadwiley stepped into the picture. 30 seconds into a calm negotiation this guy loses his cool, very unprofessional, got his feelings hurt. Not quite sure but very emotional response, gets up , turns his back to me and my wife and commands the salesman to give me keys so we can go. Never have I seen such horrible and childish behavior not only at a dealership but from management period. Mike Black invited me to have a conversation the following day about the vehicle and trade value. Felt to bad to tell Mike that I have no intention of purchasing anything from that location based on Jacques' aggressive and unprofessional attitude.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. From start to finish, the sale experience was mediocre. But the true short coming is with their Financial department, they absolutely suck. I will never buy from this place again and I will surely never refer anyone purchase a car from here simply because of the financial dept experience. And maybe I got the rotten egg, either way you're only as strong as your weakest link and that link left a horrific taste in my mouth.

Whether you own a Toyota or not (l sold mine years ago) you will be haunted for the rest of your life by their evil service dept robo-dialer, who will call every few weeks to tell you that the Toyota YOU DON'T HAVE is "due for service".

In fact, they even call me to tell me my EX-wife's Toyota is due for service... but she lives in Florida, and has lived out of state for TEN YEARS!!! The service guy says we have the same last name, and they have a sister dealership in Fla.....so l get pestered incessantly by these morons to schedule service for a car l don't own, and for another one in Florida that l don't own and have never even seen before.

I had my service a year ago and never went back. Went for a simple oil change and it ended up costing me thousands because I needed all this preventative work. I happily complied. It took over 4 hours and at the end they told me I would need to come back the next day and therefore they would give me a loaner car. This is what drove me to do a review a year later. My husband just came home today with a similar situation and a loaner car. It is the excact same Infinity he owns. I own a Honda Odyssey and they gave me a Toyota Corolla. As they were helping me get all my car seats out I thought to myself why should anyone be put through something like this? And this is why I'm writing a review. If you want decent treatment do not go to this place. Period!

After consistently taking my 4Runner to Scott Clar...

After consistently taking my 4Runner to Scott Clark for oil changes they claim that the oil pan drain plug is stripped and needs to be replaced because of age . When pulling my service records, they have never replaced the drain plug. Last time they even sautered the screw back into the pan. They refuse to fix their mistake and say I should pay $600 for a new oil pan when this has not been an issue until now because of their doing. It is disgusting to treat a longtime customer this way and I refuse to do business with a company of such poor moral values

He was extremely knowledgeable, non pushy like some Sales people and was very accommodating for setting up a time for a test drive. He did a great job negotiating a competitive lease directly with my son. The final paperwork process was very smooth and probably the quickest I have experienced in buying a car. Highly recommend!

Scott Clark Toyota has been the best choice I have made when looking for a new car! They gave me a great trade in for my Tacoma and found a way to make it possible for me to finally get my 4 runner. That was only the beginning! I get a reminder for each time I am supposed to take my car in for maintenance. I call and get a quick appointment time. When I arrive I don t even have to wait! I just pull inside, which is great with all the cold rain! Before I can even get out of my car there is someone standing right there taking pictures of all sides of my car and I give him my keys and they start. They were right on time when they finish and they were polite and professional! Just doesn t get much better than that!

My debacle started over two years ago with this ly...

My debacle started over two years ago with this lying, illegal practicing dealership. A lot happened in the first few weeks of me purchasing a RAV 4 from SCT. Too much to write about (only so many characters allowed.) Basically I did not get the car I was promised when I purchased the car. After a lot of mistakes on their part, They agree to let me get another car. Jim Cline who is nothing short of a male chauvinist jerk who thinks who can bully female buyers sent me a video of a car he was certain I would love and take as an equal trade in for the RAV 4 they screwed up. The car on the video he sent was cheap, did not have power seats and windows nor the heated leather seats that my current RAV 4 did, yet he was positive that I would want to equally trade for a cheaper model car. So much so, he sold it to me without me being there. After watching the video and telling them there s was no way that I was taking that car, Jim Cline sent someone to my work a couple of days later, an hour and a half from their dealership, to have me sign some papers, power of attorney paperwork. I didn t know what the papers were so of course I didn t sign them but I kept them. I called Jim to ask him what the papers were for. I don t remember his words verbatim, but he told me he was positive I would want the car so he had all of the paperwork filled out showing I bought the car so therefore I would need to sign power of attorney back over to him so they could resale the car. I was taking my sweet time with this and was gonna seek legal advice then but honestly, I just needed a dang car and I wanted this debacle to be over. After not signing the papers for a few days, Jim Cline called me and pretty much begged me to sign over power of attorney for the RAV 4, VIN number 2T3WFREV9GW286762, invoice number TOCS105035, stock number 75866, and he would pay me $500. Honestly I should have asked for a lot more then, but by this time there had been a couple of people involved at Scott Clark who really tried to help and I just didn t want to keep dragging them through this and I wanted this debacle to be over! I was promised a new car just like the one I purchased, that they ruined, even though it would have the same ugly stitching which is by now the least of all my concerns. When I went to sign the papers for the new car they were giving, Jim Cline came into the finance managers office who was doing my paperwork. The finance manager was George Hatzel. Jim Cline was telling George what to do about the car that was sold to me without my permission, George was super shocked. He told Jim, In front of me that this was illegal. Jim told him to just do it. George told me three times in the office that day that this was illegal and that he shouldn t be doing this. I knew at that moment that SCT had been up to some shady stuff. I assured George that I did not hold him responsible for any of this. Since that day, I have kept every text, every email, every video and a copy of the papers to sign power of attorney over to Jim to sell the car I never bought. I figured one day I might need them because I feel like I was involved in some illegal activity. Recently I went to trade in this car, obviously not at SCT. I was telling them the whole story. I was instructed by my local Toyota dealership to keep the car and seek legal counsel immediately. I did just that. The attorney looked over everything and said I had a solid case. He suggested that I follow a few steps to see if I could get this resolved with Toyota first which I did plus it would get my ducks in a row. Recently had a conversation with another male chauvinist jerk from SCT. He is the managing partner. He assured me that I am over reacting and they pay people for their troubles all of the time! I can t wait to pursue this legally and hopefully criminally. I think these jerks need to pay for the way they ve treated me, their dishonesty, and their illegal practices. It s gonna be interesting to see if there will be only legal issues or if criminal charges will happen as well,

I had a tough experience buying a car from this dealership. I had to finance through another bank because the bank that they used was trying to give me ridiculous interest rates so if you have low, mediocre or average credit, you would be better to finance outside. As far as the people that work there, Jose Hernandez helped me a lot and was ultimately the only reason we decide to continue with the purchase because the general managers and financial manager were cold when they realized we couldn't use their bank as a financier. Once we brought the check from the other bank, everyone was so nice because we had money in our hand and they realized that we could purchase the car. Again thank you Jose for all of your hard work and dedication, Scott Clark has great cars and I am loving my new car, but customer service and them cutting you deals is definitely not one of their strong-suits. People should not be treated differently or with less integrity based off of their credit score.

The service technician was kind and straight forward. He did not try to add costs to my maintenance visit. In fact, he saved me some money by pointing out a special the dealership had going on.
